Lord Aymon grinned, thinking he managed to beat Klaus. However, his smile quickly faded. He stared at Klaus, his eyes now two black dots, and his expression turned frightening. At the sa ti, Klaus radiated a dark aura, filling the room with a tense atmosphere.

Watching the horror of his opponent, Lord Aymon gulped.

"You've crossed the line, Lord Aymon," Klaus said with a cold tone. He then touched Lord Aymon's chest with dark energy, and the elf was thrown against the wall with his sword.

Floating in the air, Klaus filled the entire room with darkness, turning it into a gloomy and frightening world. Even the Tree of Life's heart was affected, pulsating rapidly as if it would explode.

Lauriel trembled in fear, realizing that the vision from her dreams was coming true. She quickly knelt before Klaus, tears streaming down her face. She begged desperately, "Please, forgive us."

However, Klaus didn't listen. His anger had already consud him. He never gave others a second chance after granting the first.

Lord Aymon struggled to get up from the floor. Even though he had only been hit once, his body throbbed with pain. "It's no use, Your Grace," he gasped. "We must be ready to fight. No matter what choice we make, that man will destroy our forest."

On the other side, Lauriel was still in fear, "Shut up! Put down your sword and quickly kneel down!" Her voice sounded desperate as she was overwheld by the increasingly tense situation.

However, Lord Aymon shook his head. "I can't, Your Grace. Look at him now. He's made up his mind."

The darkness continually emitted by Klaus was affecting the entire room, especially the Tree of Life. Its heart pulsed harder as if it would explode at any mont. The previously sturdy and strong walls of the room began to turn brittle, and a foul odor began to fill the air.

At that mont, Lauriel finally realized that there was no other choice but to fight. She then reluctantly retrieved a small staff hidden beneath her skirt and was ready for the worst.

"Good. Now, I have no other reason to let you live," Klaus smirked.

Hearing the threat, Lauriel and Lord Aymon swallowed hard.

"I will protect you; use your power to kill him," Lord Aymon whispered.

Lauriel nodded in response.

The inevitable battle finally began. Starting his attack, Lord Aymon lunged at Klaus, and his sword glead brightly, creating a circle of light that protected them from the darkness. At the sa ti, he swung his sword.

"Take this!"

Three moon-shaped beams of light pierced the darkness and headed for its source. However, they vanished in an instant as the dark hand absorbed them.

Slash! Slash! Slash! The sword cut horizontally, cleaving through the darkness.

Swoosh! Swoosh! Swoosh! Small balls of light flew through the darkness and exploded.

Every ti Lord Aymon tried to cut through the darkness, he felt a strong resistance and could barely hold on. On the other hand, Klaus didn't move an inch from his position. He didn't even use his weapon, tal spheres. Like facing a wall, Lord Aymon beca desperate as his attacks proved futile. No matter how hard he tried, the darkness always thwarted his light attacks.

"I'm done, Aymon!"

Lauriel had finally gathered enough mana within her. Standing away from the zone between Klaus and Lord Aymon, she chanted her nature magic and summoned a heavy rain and strong wind.

Small black clouds ford on the ceiling, sending lightning toward Klaus as Lord Aymon attempted to land a hit. At the sa ti, a strong wind blew through the darkness, neutralizing Klaus's defenses so Lord Aymon could strike.

A small storm raged within the room.

The combined attack was an attempt to kill Klaus. However, none of them succeeded in injuring him. The darkness always moved to protect its master as if it had a mind of its own. Sotis it transford into massive walls or devouring hands. They gave a hard ti for Lauriel and Lord Aymon.

"Switch! I'm going to hold him off! And you attack!" Lauriel shouted.

"I can't, Your Grace! The dark hands keep chasing !"

"You have the light elental! Use it to dispel them!" Lauriel frustratedly urged.

The battle continued fiercely. Lord Aymon and Lauriel fought hard, but Klaus was too powerful. Dark energy continued to emanate from his body, shaking the entire room with vibrations, and the Tree of Life pulsed even harder.

The effects of the intense battle began to spread. Strong vibrations ran through the walls and floors, disturbing the crew mbers who were sleeping in their rooms. One of them was Sylvia. She quickly woke up and reached out to awaken Joanna, who was sleeping in her bed.

"What's happening?" Joanna woke up, rubbing her eyes. She was still sleepy.

"I can't explain right now, but we need to get out of here," Sylvia said, pulling the still-drowsy girl out of bed and leading her out of the room.

It wasn't just them who felt the impact. Other elf residents also felt the strong vibrations. Many of them erged from their hos, confused and worried about what was happening.

One elf with a special gift fell to his knees, trembling in fear from the powerful vibrations he felt. Another elf, seeing him in distress, quickly drew close and asked, "Are you okay?"

"The Tree of Life is screaming. It's calling for help!"

anwhile, in the hidden chamber, Lord Aymon and Lauriel collapsed to the floor. They had exhausted all their powers, but the reality was that they had lost. They not only failed to beat Klaus, but they couldn't even land a single blow on him.

Klaus landed lightly between them, facing his two weakened opponents. He lifted Lord Aymon gently but lethally, and the elf gasped, struggling to breathe through his choked throat.

"This is your punishnt," Klaus muttered.

"Aarrgghh!"

Lord Aymon scread in pain and despair as if the life energy within him were being sucked out. His body shrank, his skin wrinkled, and his hair turned gray. Lord Aymon slowly aged and, with frozen eyes and a weak body, he eventually fell, like a withered leaf falling from a tree.

Lauriel was hysterical as she witnessed her right hand taking his last breath before her eyes.

"No! Lord Aymon!" she cried out.

"Calm down," Klaus said. "You will follow him soon."

Naturally, Lauriel was shocked. She then tried to run away but stumbled and fell.

As she attempted to crawl away, Klaus pounced on her and directed the dark energy at this elf woman. Lauriel scread in pain, feeling her strength being drained.

"Argh! Please! I don't want to die!"

As the dark energy filled Lauriel's body, she felt herself growing weaker and her skin starting to wrinkle. She gasped, trying to hold onto the last remnants of her strength, but her efforts were in vain. In the end, Lauriel t the sa fate as Lord Aymon.

However, there was an oddity with her body. It had originally been small, like that of a child, but now it appeared as the body of an adult. Seeing this change in her body, Klaus snorted.

"Even until the very end, you still clung to your lies, huh."

In truth, Lauriel never showed her true form to Klaus. She had disguised herself as a child to gain Klaus' sympathy, but it had ultimately failed.

"I don't know what kind of magic you used, but I applaud you for deceiving ."

Klaus shifted his attention to the Tree of Life's heart. He walked toward it. When he touched it, it pulsed intensely. Then, he pierced the mbrane layer and seized the elf woman inside. He quickly pulled the body away, breaking it free from its connection to the Tree of Life.

As the woman's body separated from the Tree of Life, a horrifying scream echoed throughout the room. However, it was only the beginning of the disaster that was about to unfold.

Not long after, an incredibly powerful earthquake suddenly struck, shaking the entire forest. Trees that had stood for thousands of years suddenly collapsed, causing chaos in the elf village. Villagers rushed in a panic, trying to save themselves before falling trees could kill them.

At the sa ti, a notification appeared on the smartlink.

[Anomaly Source has been eradicated. The dungeon will soon be sealed!]
