Astra PoV

Looking back, I waved goodbye to my daughters and felt a bit of a pang in my chest when I noticed how sad they were, because now it wasn’t just Renna and I heading into the city; it was Renna, Rhefia and I, and after having their Dama back for just a day they weren’t ready to let her go yet again.

The promise that we would be back before the sun went down helped calm them a little, and thankfully the presence of their sowhat tired looking white haired sister cald them down even more.

Shelur was also with us, but I don’t think she had yet reached the sa level as any of us since Renna and I provided a very clear ’thing’ to the children while their Dama was just... their Dama; an irreplaceable figure that they wanted to have in their lives very much.

"We’ll be back quicker if we get going, Astra..."

Gently pushing

forwards, Rhefia smiled back at them and waved too before guiding

onto the road, making

pout since I wanted to see them for a little while longer; I couldn’t move away from her though so we were now on the road, and walking beside us was Renna, who looked rather... conflicted.

"It’ll be alright, Renna. Nothing bad will happen, you know that."

She gave

a nod and a small smile before turning back to the road, staring at the city in the distance and keeping quiet for a few minutes before she spoke up, drawing our attentions back to her.

"I know nothing bad will happen, but I haven’t really been with the Queen in private in a long ti now... I always tried to keep other officials or guards with

to make sure of that, but now..."

"It’ll be fine, my love. You said it yourself, she wouldn’t ever do anything that you didn’t want."

That made her smile again, though it was a bit of a sad one as she replied "That’s what I have trouble with, Astra... I don’t know what I want. So much ti was spent with her, working on us... It isn’t sothing that just goes away, and while it wasn’t as good as what we have, it... holds a lot of weight."

"A weight we can share, my love. Besides, I doubt she’ll be making passes at you or at ; we’re eting her with Duchess Leonisa, Fenkar and we’re there to discuss Rhefia, so it should be all official and business oriented."

"And Heria - the Princess - should be there with my... ex, Giselle. I don’t think the Queen is fond of familial orgies..."

"No, she isn’t. I think she is one of the rare few I’ve ever encountered who never even entertained the idea of mating with her sisters or her daughters..."

Rhefia grinned at Renna as she said "I can see why~! Having you in her bed was more than enough, wasn’t it~?
