In Eastern cosmology, the number nine holds special significance—it is the ultimate yang number, the greatest extre.

As the saying goes: "The ultimate numbers of heaven and earth begin with one and end with nine."

Thus, nine symbolizes finality!

In Buddhism, there exists the concept of "returning to the ultimate through nines," which refers to the aning of great perfection.

Additionally, Buddhism also speaks of the Nine Heavens, which are: Uttara-kuru, the Heaven of Infinite Virtue and ditation; Śuddhāvāsa, the Heaven of Pure Abodes; Brahma-kāyika, the Heaven of Brahma's Retinue; Śāntarasa, the Heaven of Tranquil Joy; Nirmāṇa-rati, the Heaven of Joy Created by Others; Paranirmita-vaśa-vartin, the Heaven of Controlling Others' Emanations; Ābhāsvara, the Heaven of Radiant Light; Śubha-kṛtsna, the Heaven of Universal Purity; and Bṛhatphala, the Heaven of Great Fruit.

In the historical work of human history, "Lüshi Chunqiu," there is also an explanation of the concept of the Nine Heavens. Lü Buwei believed that the heavens are divided into nine regions.

These nine regions are: Central Jun Heaven, Eastern Cang Heaven, Northeast Bian Heaven, Northern Xuan Heaven, Northwest You Heaven, Western Hao Heaven, Southwest Zhu Heaven, Southern Yan Heaven, and Southeast Yang Heaven.

Taoism also describes the Nine Heavens, referring to them as: Zhong Heaven, Xian Heaven, Cong Heaven, Geng Heaven, Cui Heaven, Guo Heaven, Jian Heaven, Shen Heaven, and Cheng Heaven.

Thus, the number "Nine" holds special symbolic aning in both mythology and humanity.

Therefore, the final battle between humans and gods now appears to be reaching its conclusion!

Under normal circumstances, one should agree to Buddha's proposal—his arrogant plan to single-handedly fight the remaining five human representatives.

But Brunhilde certainly isn't foolish enough to actually agree.

Buddha dares to make such an audacious claim because he has the confidence to back it up.

She needs to understand where this confidence cos from.

Hence, regarding Buddha's proposal, Brunhilde hasn't given her consent yet.

It isn't mandatory for her to accept; they could still continue with one-on-one matches.

But the only certainty is that the divine representative for the next ninth round will be Buddha.

Wait—what did Buddha an when he said he would be the only divine representative from then on?

Does that an there will be no divine representatives after Buddha?

How could that be!

So, Brunhilde realized sothing: if Buddha wins the ninth round, will he then represent the gods in the tenth round as well?

This guy truly intends to take on all the remaining human representatives by himself.

And his decision seems to have gained the approval of the other chief gods, implying that they, too, believe Buddha possesses such capability.

So, where does the problem lie?

Brunhilde is now pulling up Buddha's information, continuously browsing through all the data on this god in an attempt to uncover sothing.

"Sister, is Lord Buddha really that confident~?"

"This feels like a trap."

"Could it be that Lord Buddha is stronger than Zeus, Odin, and Shiva?"

"Stronger than all three of them combined?"

The other Valkyrie sisters all find this highly suspicious.

Although they know this god is undoubtedly exceptionally powerful, they don't believe he far surpasses Zeus and the others.

So, what gives Buddha the confidence to declare he'll take on the remaining opponents in a gauntlet, or even face them all at once?

"What if we agree? Nine is the ultimate number—let Ragnarök conclude in this round."

"Agree? Let's investigate thoroughly first."

"Exactly."

"If we don't figure this out, all the hard-won victories humanity has achieved so far could go up in flas, right?"

Among the Valkyries, the tenth, eleventh, and youngest sisters all voiced opposition to the idea of agreeing.

Huh? Who's that?

A male voice!

After realizing it, they all turned toward the direction of the voice and were taken aback.

"Who are you?"

Hlökk placed her hands on her hips, speaking with a hint of displeasure.

Who is this black-haired youth? How dare he casually enter the Akasha Chamber?

He appears to be human, as there's no divine aura emanating from him at all.

"? Just an ordinary passerby."

"An ordinary human? Able to enter the Akasha Chamber?"

Moreover, he entered so silently that none of the sisters outside noticed. Could he really be an ordinary human?

So, who is he?

Brunhilde is already scanning his appearance through the Akashic System to investigate his information.

Huh?

Brunhilde has retrieved his information, but it leaves her utterly confused.

According to the data, he truly is an ordinary human nad Renji, born in the late 20th century, deceased in—

No, not dead yet. This guy is still a living human in the present.

That's where the problem lies.

Because all the human spectators in the heavenly realm are people who have already died in the real human world. There are no living humans summoned here.

Yet this living human has appeared in the heavenly realm?

And he wasn't summoned to the heavenly realm?

Then how did he get here?

It's too bizarre.

In other words, all the past records of this human above must be fake, right? Because it just looks like the ordinary life experiences of a human from childhood to adulthood.

"The experiences you're looking at are all real."

These words from the other party startled Brunhilde. Logically, she was currently retrieving information through the Akashic System, and only she should be able to see that window. How could the other party see it too?

"Just agree to Buddha's request. It's ti for everything to co to an end~"

After saying this, he stepped out toward the door of the Akasha Chamber.

The mont he stepped out, he vanished without a trace.

Brunhilde imdiately went to the door but found no trace of him. He had simply disappeared into thin air.

"Could it be—!"

Brunhilde suddenly realized who he might be.

Could he be that mysterious person?

Thinking of this, Brunhilde imdiately operated the Akashic System, calling up all the humans who had represented humanity in battle so far. She then filtered out all the people associated with them and matched their appearances.

After all, the other party had previously told her: "I've left many nas in history, and we've t many tis."

However, the search results showed—not a single match.

Hmm, perhaps his appearance was also different. So, she conducted a more detailed keyword search, looking for people whose nas contained the characters for "white" or "moon."

In the blink of an eye, an unknown amount of ti passed, and Brunhilde still couldn't find anyone who matched.

How infuriating.

With a wave of her hand, the nurous windows disappeared, leaving only the images of the eight humans who had represented humanity in battle.

As she prepared to walk to the nearby table for a drink of water, Brunhilde inadvertently glanced back at the eight images. The mont she withdrew her gaze, she imdiately turned back to look.

She shifted her steps slightly, aligning the sowhat transparent images so that their faces overlapped in a straight line.

At that mont, Brunhilde froze in place.
