I entered what appeared to be a large, empty room, containing nothing but an arch made of strange tal at its center. Inside the arch, space itself was distorted, glowing constantly with white light.

Several people were already standing in front of the teleportation gate, waiting... naturally, my classmates.

Lucas looked at us, confirming everyone was present, then gestured for us to follow him.

The guards’ eyes had been on us since the mont we set foot in this place, but they didn’t stop us from approaching.
