Until one day...
Today, the footsteps stopped here, and then the doorbell rang.
When this mont truly arrived, she felt as if a layer of mist had covered her eyes.
It seed that after attaining ultimate happiness, it would quietly disperse like a bubble.
Amidst the cheers and whistles of the young mages and the applause of a group of old mages, Kael put down the gaphone and whispered softly in Elanna's ear:
"I'm not sure if this emotion is what they call love, but I'm certain that I love the feeling of trusting her with my back. I love it so much, I can't hold it in anymore, and I want to tell everyone...
I've caught you, and you can't run away."
His voice carried a slight quiver, yet it was as steady as a vow, silently enveloping them both.
"Of course, I also hope she can co to my side, belonging to completely.
So...
Have you thought it through?"
Elanna was so shy she couldn't raise her head, feeling as if her thoughts were interrupted. She couldn't speak, and could only nod instinctively.
The cheers from the audience were incessant, and the entire venue was roaring.
Elanna gazed at him dazedly; she didn't know what she would face in the future, but at this mont, Kael was by her side, choosing her to stand alongside him.
She was in a blissful trance, greedily savoring all of it.
Then she felt her palm being tightly held; Kael pulled her and jumped off the high platform, running toward the window amid the roars of the crowd.
"Ka~Kael..."
Elanna said in a flustered manner, and before she knew it, she was pulled close to his side again.
In a muffled whimper, her words were once again silenced by Kael.
"Although there were many twists and turns, we finally arrived here."
Kael bowed his head, resting one hand on the retro door fra that he had pushed open.
A slightly dim light hung overhead, and his fingers, at so point, were resting on her chin.
With just a slight effort, she was gently guided into his deep kiss.
The lipstick she had applied before arriving, with that familiar taste, now diffused, a conjoined fragrance amidst their entwined lips and teeth.
He delved in, greedy and bold, his slightly forceful fingertips making her surrender unconditionally, able only to let Kael take whatever he desired.
Everything before her turned dark, leaving only the passionate and wet breaths swirling between their lips.
The retro door Kael held slightly trembled, their swaying bodies making her feel like a bubble floating on clouds, could only hold onto the man before her...
He was so dazzling and srizing.
Kael, tangled tirelessly, like a monarch dominating this land, knowing too well where the abundant fruits would be yielded.
At this mont, his eyes, gleaming red, surprisingly shed their magical veil, revealing a pure and simple deanor.
"Close the door...!"
Elanna was held tightly in Kael's embrace, her words mingling with their shared breath, lazily intoxicating, her voice carrying a seductive elegance.
"No one will interrupt us; they know that this place is mine now."
The warm fingers caressed Elanna's cheek, making her feel weak, a tingling sensation spreading from the fingertips throughout her entire body.
But a question still lingered in Elanna's heart, the doubt she had suppressed all along.
"Was that earlier light and shadow intentional?"
"Of course."
"Then why didn't you tell ?"
"Because there would be no surprise if I told you, and... it was fun seeing you truly startled for once."
Toward the end of his words, his voice turned quirky and playful.
Watching Kael smile like that, Elanna bit him resentfully.
Kael's fingers lightly brushed the hair falling on his shoulder, and his breath played on her neck.
"Did you have fun tonight?"
In his sowhat teasing gaze, Elanna felt she transcended ti, returning to that day when she secretly watched Kael from the stairs in her ho.
That was their first eting, and now, transcending ti, her eyes once more carried all the hidden longing and desire.
"So, is there anything else you want to do?"
His fingers slid down her neck, the enticing breath enveloped her once more, making Elanna tremble slightly as she seed to understand the true nature of the incubus.
She pressed her lips and decided to give in to her restless heart, reaching to entwine her arms around his neck, embracing that deep warmth.
"Make a little happier here?"
"My pleasure."
At that mont, a loud explosion echoed.
A firework burst in the sky.
The suddenly illuminated firework drew Elanna's gaze; she looked back at Kael: "So, this was planned beforehand too?"
Kael chuckled and said, "After all, I am the Divine Favored of the Prince of Lies, always full of tricks, right?"
"Who would boast so proudly about being the Divine Favored of an Evil God?"
"Don't you like it?"
"...I can't say it, it's so embarrassing."
"Then wait until you're not so embarrassed, and whisper it to later!"
Hearing this, Elanna chuckled and buried her head in Kael's chest, softly saying: "I also get jealous, of the won around you, jealous when I can't be by your side, there's soone else with you."
"Yes, I know."
"Sotis, I secretly go outside to train, hoping to stay by your side longer.
Of course, a little selfishness too, out of sight, out of mind. If I don't see it, I pretend it doesn't exist. Aren't I being a bit sneaky?"
"Not sneaky at all, much better than , a scoundrel."
"Pfft, you've beco more like those undead in your speech."
"After all, they are quite amusing, aren't they?"
Elanna smiled, looked up at Kael, and said: "If for a mont, I feel like running away from you, just to keep so self-esteem intact, would you be mad?"
"I would, but I also admit, I never planned on giving you the chance to run away." Kael rubbed her cheek and said, "I told you, incubi have a strong possessive nature. Once we're fixated on soone, escaping becos quite unlikely."
Listening to Kael's words, Elanna's face suddenly flushed.
It's not just a strong possessive nature...
In every sense, she'd be completely and utterly possessed.
