For soone like Kael, who has a promising future, he's more than willing to communicate a bit more. For example, if Kael fancies a pure-blooded Dragon Girl from the Dragon Empire, he'd be happy to see him develop a little and propagate the bloodline.
However, before he could say these words, the Old Dragon King swallowed them back on his own accord.
The reason is simple: he noticed a certain "scent" in Kael's body as he got closer.
This scent is often a mark left in one partner's body by so Dragon Species after mating; rather than a scent, it's more like an intentional brand.
But upon closer observation, he realized sothing was off.
This mark, compared to those left by Dragons, looked more like the contract used by Dragon Vein Mages to better propagate the next generation.
Undoubtedly, that Dragon Vein Mage had the blood of a Golden Dragon flowing within them, otherwise the Old Dragon King wouldn't have noticed it imdiately.
If he didn't have enough understanding of the power of Golden Dragons, it wouldn't be easy to detect the unusual nature of a Magic Monarch.
Yet…
Golden Dragon Blood?!
In the Duchy of Yibel and even in the Bell Federation, the most likely Dragonborn and Dragon Vein Mages remaining would be those of the Golden Dragon faction, and they generally hail from two places.
The first is Caesarian Governor's family, especially his two children.
The other is from the Lionheart Family, considering the Duchess is the sister of Caesar Governor, the likelihood of Dragon Vein Mages appearing among their descendants is quite high.
Wait a minute…
Dragon Vein Mage's contract?
And it's a Dragon Girl?
The Old Dragon King, well-versed in such matters, quickly locked onto the identity of the Dragon Girl who left the mark in Kael's body from the depths of his mory.
Good, good, good!
Truly excellent!
Choosing the Dragon Girl was the correct and visionary choice!
Thinking this, the Old Dragon King's face beca even more eager. This once notorious Old Dragon King, now crowned as the King of Good Dragons, patted Kael on the shoulder and said:
"You have done very well. The future belongs to you all."
Kael, sowhat puzzled by this person, honestly had a good grasp of the theories among his peers, but if you expected him to be familiar with the appearances of these Magic Monarchs, you'd be overestimating him.
Even now, magic for Kael is rely a tool to achieve his goals, not so longing or desire for a career.
If becoming a Spellblade could better achieve his aims, he would choose that without hesitation.
If becoming an Elf Ranger could better achieve his aims, he might resort to extraordinary ans to acquire Elf lineage, then choose to beco an Elf Ranger.
As a pragmatist, he only considers how useful a profession is to him.
As to why he has co this far, it's purely because his goals are clear and the System panel's features support him.
So…he's done well theoretically, but he truly doesn't know the people of the Mage Academia, nor does he have much interest in knowing them unless such social expansion greatly benefits his goals and core interests.
Obviously, for the knowledge-respecting Mage profession, many other issues can be ignored.
These issues, Mr. Luxius and others will help Kael negotiate and resolve. Introducing colleagues, for instance, is sothing Mr. Luxius would usually prepare in advance for Kael.
The first batch of Magic Monarchs who ca to the scene Kael rembers clearly.
But the second batch of Magic Monarchs, who arrived unexpectedly, he doesn't know much about.
After all, they ca at short notice; so people, even Mr. Luxius hadn't really looked into…
Like this top-notch expert standing here, exuding a Dragon aura all over.
Who are you?
Why do I feel as if I am very close to you?
Of course, all of this is just what Kael is thinking in his heart, he wouldn't be rude enough to say it out loud.
So when facing the Old Dragon King, he simply responded calmly and unflinchingly:
"There's still a long way to go. It's only when the War Mage theory can truly establish and take root in the world that I can truly celebrate."
The Old Dragon King seed to perceive Kael's subtle distrust of strangers and wasn't dissatisfied, just smiled and said:
"Your Duchess of Lionheart is, after all, my niece, you've done very well, I hear you're now essentially confird as the future leader of the Duchy of Yibel, when that ti cos, do well.
Hope you don't disappoint those who have great expectations for you, do your best."
Kael nodded, naturally choosing to gladly accept all goodwill and blessings.
And it was at this ti, Luxius and Bartlett ca over, Luxius patted his shoulder and said:
"This ti, there are truly only good tidings, no bad news."
Kael was montarily stunned, looking at Luxius, a bit puzzled.
Luxius smiled, saying: "Before this Magic Festival comnced, I had already coordinated with multiple Magic Monarchs and several Demigod Mages beforehand, and everyone's opinions are quite unanimous."
Saying this, Luxius placed a box the size of a small portable desk in Kael's hands, looking at him with an encouraging gaze, said:
"Open it, this is your glory now!"
Kael nodded, accepting the encouragent from this teacher and friend. When he opened the box, the brilliance emanating from it left him sowhat dazzled.
It was a set of exquisite and magnificent Mage Robes. Just one glance could feel the terrifying Runes and Rune arrays imbued within the robes.
Without a doubt, this is a garnt considered a supre treasure for Mages. From the mont it was first sewn, every stage of sewing needed to strictly follow the order and arrangent of Rune arrays and rites.
In fact, the very process of sewing beca a prolonged Rune array engraving, demanding an amount of dedication sufficient to drive a High-level Mage mad.
"Put it on; having earned the recognition of the Magic Monarchs, you've earned the right to don the robes that symbolize the Magic Monarch's identity."
Kael reached out to gently stroke the intricate patterns, seeing Luxius' seal engraved on a corner of the robe, he softly said:
"Mr. Luxius, this robe..."
"This is the Monarch Robe I personally tailored for you, Kael. You have certainly deserved it now. Put it on, and comnce an era that is yours to claim."
Luxius said softly, with gentle eyes.
This robe, he started preparing it for Kael two years ago.
