So, she simply took advantage of the drunkenness in her eyes after drinking and quietly excused herself, claiming she wasn't feeling well, and went to rest first.

When she returned to the tavern where they were staying, perhaps because she had indeed drunk a bit too quickly, the alcohol surged, and she felt sowhat dizzy. She decided to go to the rooftop to catch so fresh air.

At least she needed to wake herself up a bit, right?

Flandre went up to the tavern's rooftop with that thought in mind.

And as a result, she discovered that she seed to be the uninvited guest.

Kael was bathing in the moonlight, showing a serene and peaceful expression. But having a keen sense of alertness, he soon awoke upon hearing footsteps.

Perhaps thinking the situation of just standing there awkwardly with wide eyes was not good, Flandre took the initiative to ease the current awkward atmosphere.

Thus ca the opening line, "Why don't you stay and have a few more drinks with them?"

"More or less, I felt a bit bored."

Kael shrugged and then added, "Another reason is, I really don't like alcohol. No matter what kind, if I can, I wouldn't want it in my life."

Upon hearing this, a smile appeared at the corner of Flandre's eyes, and she suddenly asked with interest,

"Then what kind of behavior do you find more interesting?"

"Is it possible that the answer is world peace?"

"Don't joke around. From the first ti I saw you, I knew you're not purely a good person by nature.

This persona is far too different from your true self. Maintaining such a facade must be a kind of torture for you."

Kael shrugged and said, "If it's not for the reasons I just ntioned, what do you think the reason could be?"

"What you're thinking, even I, your sister, don't really know. But I agree with one of your thoughts."

"What?"

"Alcohol is not tasty at all. No matter how it's modified, the penetrating alcoholic taste is always nauseating."

"It seems we have at least reached a consensus on this point."

Upon hearing this, a hint of undisguised joy appeared in Flandre's expression, and she continued,

"For people like us, there are so many ways to relieve stress. There's simply no need to choose drinking, which is poison for our profession that requires a clear mind."

Flandre licked her reddened lips and wore a playful smile as she said,

"Do you rember what I told you in the carriage last ti?"

"What? I can't rember what you said back then." Of course, Kael rembered, but he thought it was better to pretend he had forgotten.

Who would've thought Flandre was not thinking the sa.

This woman was always so determined, once she decided on sothing, she wouldn't hesitate at all.

She didn't say anything strange, just looked at Kael quietly with a mocking smile on her lips.

It was as if she was provoking him, making him want to punish this provocative woman.

Kael clicked his tongue in wonder and finally said seriously, "Sister Flandre, have you really thought this through?"

"Strictly speaking, there's nothing between us stopping us from getting married, let alone walking further together."

"Then why..."

"No choice, it's been a while. I need an excuse to vent the emotions I've bottled up these years."

Alright, Kael felt successfully provoked. He snorted and said,

"Sister Flandre, don't you know that Incubi are highly sensitive to human purity?"

The implication being, oh witch, it's one thing to deceive a Little Incubus, but don't deceive yourself too.

Perhaps because Kael's words were too blunt, it left Flandre, who intended to act like she had experienced it all, a bit embarrassed.

However, Flandre quickly seed to detect sothing odd, snorted, and said,

"What if I haven't had that experience? You can't mock soone still struggling just because you've escaped."

Kael didn't understand it imdiately. It took him a few seconds to think about what kind of "shared struggle" he had with Flandre and how he had escaped it.

Monts later, Kael's expression beca more nuanced. He opened his mouth and said,

"Are you the Incubus, or am I? How did you sense such a secret so quickly?"

"Of course, I have a thorough understanding of the Incubus race." As Flandre spoke, she began to feel a bit guilty inside.
