This Magic Workshop was essentially a temporary facility for Kael to conduct Gluttonous Sli modifications.
Although now Gluttonous Slis can be combined with Rangers or other races to transform into Blight Knights without Kael's personal adjustnts, so of the earlier modifications still needed to be carried out in this workshop.
Hmm...
The Gluttonous Sli Girl aircraft that every player in Lancaster is trying to possess was born in this workshop.
But Kael had long seen through these players' little sches.
To beco an ordinary Blight Knight, Kael Territory also has related services, and the person in charge of this service is still a teacher from the Secret Scroll Mage Academy.
But to beco a Blight Knight of Kael's version, the price to pay is sowhat steep.
Although Kael has plenty of fans among the player community, without doubt, even among those fan players, the number willing to be dominated by Kael after their appointnt is minuscule.
People play gas to feel exhilarated and to escape the troubles of life, not to find trouble for themselves or to be soone else's dog.
Nor would they praise a ga company's past glory and interesting gaplay approach if it ended up pushing an "electronic urn" onto players, and still stand from the ga's perspective to extol it wildly.
"Care for a drink? The signature beverage, Blizzard Green Tea from the Gluttonous Sli Ranch, I always make a few cups for myself whenever I co here to concoct a new batch of Gluttonous Slis.
Elves are quite fond of drinking tea, aren't they? This one has a dense and rich tea flavor, which should quite suit your dietary habits."
"Tha...thank you."
Adela was sowhat nervous; after all, she was now at a critical juncture in her destiny. In the past, all she needed to do was to continuously train, grow, and then naturally climb the professional ladder.
But this ti, she encountered a completely foreign future.
Her fear of the future stemd from the unknown.
The Longshot Strike Team's plan sounded overly attractive, but there were few who would consider the "risk" beneath that proposed attractiveness – sothing that no one wanted to scrutinize carefully.
She took the freshly-made Blizzard Green Tea from Kael's hand, drank it in one gulp, and her face revealed a look of astonishnt.
"How does it taste?"
"Delicious tea!" Adela whispered softly.
"Did it help calm your nerves a bit?"
"Indeed, it did help a little," Adela responded candidly.
"Then go lie down on the experint platform! There's not much ti left for the Elf Ranger."
Adela nodded and resolutely lay down on a tal platform.
The experint platform, quietly adjusted by the goblins of Wandong City over this period, produced tal rings that bound and securely fixed Adela's body in place automatically.
"Before the experint starts, is there anything you want to say?"
"I will obediently be your dog, doing whatever is needed, just please don't treat my kin like low-value consumables to be easily discarded, alright?"
Kael snorted lightly: "Do whatever is needed? Even without this incident, if I told you to do sothing, could you possibly resist?"
The Magic Silk Threads that Kael subtly extended outward could sense soone—oh no, an Elf—quietly approaching.
It had to be said, they were rightly fond of outdoor combat, those Elf Rangers.
If it were not for the Magic Workshop itself having an additional detection system, and Kael having added another layer of insurance, it would not have been so easy to detect this deliberately hidden Elf Ranger.
He had no intention of calling out this person.
What contemporary drama could be more vivid than wantonly manipulating those in the eyes of their nominal Commander, right in front of the Elf Rangers?
So were willing to be the mouthpiece for public opinion propaganda, which Kael would certainly be delighted with.
After all, in the end, when people acknowledge the righteousness of the outco and revel in the benefits, they would start to empathize.
The two stopped talking, and Kael began to focus wholeheartedly on covering Adela's muscular cellular structure.
Adela lay on the experint platform, her expression as cold as the snow in February.
She actually did not fear pain, feeling parts of her skin being penetrated by the Gluttonous Sli and perated by the burning Totem Power into her body's internals.
The icy sensation was shivering.
Aister's body, as if it were a ghostly apparition behind him, erged behind Kael, collaborating with him in controlling the transformation.
Within Aister's body, he had long stored a vast amount of "raw materials" derived from various races.
Without much control from Kael, Aister extracted the anti-atrophy protein that Kael needed and implanted it into the body of Adela's Gluttonous Sli.
Sohow, Adela felt as though sothing critically important had left her in a trance.
Had it been under the Holy Land, she might not have felt such a pronounced change.
If you're weak enough, you'll find that even when the threat of death looms, you won't even have the ti to react.
But Adela was different.
She was from the Holy Land, having nearly full control over her body's every aspect, and now, with the interference of Kael's power, she distinctly felt she was becoming less and less like herself.
