Luxius didn't go out imdiately but turned to look at the towering giant behind him. With a flicker, he moved as if teleporting in front of the giant.
Suspended in the air, he looked at the giant who stretched out his palm and placed it in front of Luxius, a miniature version of his world of heart… The Thousand-Handed Lord, with extre power, crushed all coming enemies and suppressed the elental fluctuations.
However, now, the densely packed palms of the Thousand-Handed Lord were covered in dense fragnts.
This Thousand-Handed Lord, who once smashed several Balrog Fla Demons into pieces and even sealed their ability to cast spells, now had his once-prideful hands covered in dense cracks.
"Celestial Elent Fission… a new God Slaying Magic, huh? The last one to co up with this was the legendary Ma Youfu, right?"
The legend begins with Ma Youfu's creation of "Ma Youfu's Minor teor," the first recorded Godslaying Magic. However, because of Ma Youfu's own character flaws, the spells he initially created caused significant harm to the spellcasters themselves.
Simply put, many of the spells he created did not initially consider the protection of the spellcasters themselves, easily causing accidental injuries.
After all, not every mage is like Ma Youfu, who had strong survival skills, including the legendary Godslaying Magic "Ma Youfu's Minor teor," which at first did not take into account how to ensure the mages themselves weren't severely hard by the aftermath, and was once listed as a forbidden spell.
This situation lasted until later when top mages successively modified and weakened "Ma Youfu's Minor teor," and then the revised "Ma Youfu's Minor teor" was removed from the list of forbidden spells.
But now… Luxius had a feeling that it might not be long before the Mage Association's list of forbidden spells would have a new entry.
A spell of only seven rings complexity, already capable under extre conditions to handle special targets, if not restricted, would have serious implications.
After all… though the mage community appeared to have beco very powerful now, it was rely an illusion of severe internal cohesion.
Facing a single church, mages of course wouldn't be too afraid, but the fear lies in inciting public anger, being collectively attacked by a crowd of churches.
Such incidents weren't unheard of in history.
The ruins of the goblin empire still stand on the earth, which were retributions by the gods for testing the forbidden, serving as a warning to the people.
As for these matters, Luxius couldn't say much, the goblin empire was just an innocent party caught up in the wrath of the deities.
The real troubleso powers were indeed nurous.
Especially so powers with no self-awareness at all, which considered the gods and even the will of the world as enemies right from their inception.
It didn't take much for them to start planning "Godslaying Operations" or "Projects to Erase the World's Will"… Luxius thought it rather foolish, considering the gods hadn't provoked them, yet they inexplicably beca their hunting targets.
This was completely like the role of a troublemaker. Luxius felt no issue if both the world consciousness and the gods eradicated them.
The world had beco so chaotic directly because of these people.
"Forget it, let's not think too much about it. It's better to remind Kael to consider the circumstances when using such dangerous spells. If he really blows up half of the Royal Capital, the old lion would go mad."
Luxius scratched his still fairly thick hair, and for so reason, he felt he had started losing hair recently… Surely, it must be an illusion!
…
In reality, Kael and Elanna exchanged glances, a sheepish smile creeping up on their faces. Kael whispered,
"Should we just leave now? Once Mr. Luxius cos out, he's going to scold for causing trouble again."
Elanna raised an eyebrow, a hint of a sly expression on her face as she chuckled, "So, Kael, you get scared too, huh?"
Helplessly, Kael responded, "What do you an 'so I get scared too'? There's plenty that scares ."
Had it not been for his innate caution when he dragged that test subject, pulling him high into the air, assuming even if he broke free from the bond of Magic Silk Thread, he'd still have to endure the crash injuries from a high fall.
Otherwise… When switching out of the Inverted Space, the diffuse Elental Annihilation area might have ripped a huge-hole in the Royal Capital.
Thinking back on it, Kael still felt chills.
The two waited on the spot for a long while, not hearing Mr. Luxius's voice again, finally, Kael spoke to the second machine,
"Let's head back first. Mr. Luxius probably has other matters to attend to."
The second machine nodded and frowned at his torn clothes.
When he found out he had beco the least of the Chosen by the gods, he was actually very pleased.
After all, it represented a leap to the skies in the ga, and it ant he could finally teach a lesson to all those authors who playfully ssed around.
