In any case, obtaining such results at that ti truly depended on a combination of favorable circumstances aligned in many respects.
Normally, a spell like this that is difficult to alter once it locks on is hard to effectively sabotage tactically.
But now, even if Kael himself tried to explain that he was not as powerful as they imagined, the head of Orean Independent Kingdom’s intelligence would just nod in agreent, followed by a stream of "Ah, yes, exactly."
"There’s no need for concern. This ti, my primary purpose for coming here is to invest in so industries in your Royal Capital. My Lancaster Trading Company is seizing the first wave of expansion, involving many industries that intersect with your country.
"Rather than remotely trusting others to handle it, it’s better to personally arrange for so people to co to your country to deal with it. Our Lancaster family’s resources are not that abundant, and the costs of setting up a set of industries in your Royal Capital are high, which I don’t quite trust, so I decided to co here in person," Kael said plainly, outlining his "purpose" for the visit, causing the Shadow Secret Guard leader to have an epiphany.
After Kael’s departure from the Royal Capital, the Shadow Secret Guard went all out, gathering information on mbers of the group of Mages and Knights who had co to the Orean Independent Kingdom and perford exceptionally well.
And Kael was indeed one of the few individuals they valued most.
It was true, as Lord Kael said, that although he now possessed strength formidable enough to threaten the Chosen One, his territory was still in a state of rapid developnt.
It could even be said that, as things stood, the developnt rate of Lancaster Territory could no longer keep up with the growth of this prodigy from the Yibel Federation.
The territory’s relative weakness ant that even when seeking to expand the trading company’s industries, the safest thod was still to get personally involved to ensure their protection.
And with transnational trade inherently carrying significant risks, it’s no wonder a person of his caliber would personally co to inspect.
After mulling over this intelligence, the Shadow Secret Guard leader found a perfect excuse for Kael, which allowed him to relax and say:
"We understand your intentions, and if you don’t mind, I will pass the ssage to my colleagues in other departnts that handle business invitations. A figure like you, willing to invest in Orean, is surely soone my colleagues would be particularly pleased to welco."
Kael showed a look of surprise.
This wasn’t an act; he was genuinely astonished that the fabricated story he had co up with was more effective than he had imagined.
Considering that Lancaster Chamber of Comrce did indeed require specific resources unique to the Orean Independent Kingdom for so of their industries, he promptly decided to seize the opportunity and showed a benevolent smile, saying,
"If that’s the case, then all the better!"
Seeing that Kael didn’t refuse the official aid, the face of the intelligence head grew genuinely more sincere.
Since Baron Helois hadn’t rejected the offer, it indicated he wasn’t averse to accepting supervision from Orean’s business departnts.
It might seem like the Orean Independent Kingdom was giving Kael a concession, but in fact, if this matter involved the Orean business invitation departnt, wasn’t it also indirectly accepting their supervision while giving a concession?
If one truly had sothing to hide, the first instinct would be to decline.
Now, his effortless acceptance only confird the intelligence departnt’s suspicion: this guy really had co to do business in the Orean Royal Capital.
Doing business is good! As long as he doesn’t do sothing like his teacher, who without saying a word, cast an indissoluble "Iceberg Drop" in their port, Orean Independent Kingdom would be very welco.
After all, the chaos that stirred up before was still a hot topic internally and hadn’t died down yet!
Kael was unaware of what these people were thinking, and after the Shadow Secret Guard left, he peacefully drifted into slumber.
...
It was just that he felt sowhat restless while sleeping tonight.
In a daze, he sensed his consciousness as if it were falling into a vast pink ocean, riding undulating waves that made his emotions ebb and flow. When he ca back to his senses, he seed to see the pink book in the Spiritual Body World fluttering as if caressed by the wind.
Perhaps it was because he sensed his ability to use spells still intact in such a state, he didn’t feel very anxious about being drawn towards the pink book emanating a strong aroma of ripe maturity.
Quickly, as his spirit body gently floated in front of the book, he finally noticed the pulsing text on the pages.
Instinctively, he pressed his hand onto the page and imdiately felt the power of the text.
"The situation in Orean Independent Kingdom is becoming increasingly tense, with the Kingdom stuck between internal strife and external threats. Internal disputes, especially between dwarfs and halflings, have made it difficult for the Kingdom Council’s decrees to be enforced beyond its chambers."
"Externally, adjacent to the ever-strengthening Bell Federation, there’s no choice but to allow the wolf into the room, summoning the might of the divine Briania to counterbalance the growing threat of the Bell Federation."
"Now, on the dwarfs’ recomndation, the idea of bringing in the sacred Brianian Priests to establish bases has taken off, sprawling across the Kingdom. Dismissing them without cause is impossible; it would lead to the loss of support from divine Briania, ensnaring the Kingdom into an even greater external crisis."
