..."
Scene after scene of a human hell flickered through the video, leaving the goblins seated below devoid of any trace of laughter, shrouded in an atmosphere as silent as death.
The male voice in the video grew increasingly weary and hoarse:
"On January 1st of Shenhua Era 103, the second year after the outbreak of the war, we exchanged the disappearance of over 443 million goblin compatriots for a united counterattack by the lords of the land.
The establishnt of the Unified Goblin Front awakened the will for a goblin counterblow. Almost simultaneously, ard forces everywhere began to issue conscription orders to the major races that had long resided within the goblin empire.
With the activation of Anti-Casting Field Devices everywhere, our approach shifted from outright confrontation to a bloody intertwining on the battlefields.
With the combined efforts of many, the goblins launched a counteroffensive. It was this unexpected grand assault that exposed the puppeteers hiding behind the undead and monsters—the great beings once worshipped by all living creatures, the gods—to our view.
On the bright side, at least now, we finally know who our real enemy is..."
...Kael’s mory divide...
Kael pressed his hand to his temple in pain.
It seed that years ago, when Wandong City was expanding its defense forces, the voice of that goblin officer still echoed in his mind during the recruitnt campaign.
He looked at the Old Goblin lying on the ground and pressed down the emotions in his heart; that inexplicable sense of grief quickly faded away.
He opened his hands, attempting to directly store the Old Goblin’s corpse into his Space Equipnt.
But he quickly realized that he was unable to summon the Space Equipnt.
"The influence of the Anti-Casting Field Device?" Kael had a headache.
The goblin device’s effect on him was more severe than he had anticipated; if it weren’t for the Old Goblin giving him a usable weapon, he would fear not having even a suitable weapon.
Suddenly, his chest vibrated faintly.
Kael reached into his bosom and pulled out sothing that looked like a portable radio and functioned similarly; after searching his mory, he knew how to use it.
He pressed the listen button, and abruptly a crackling electrical sound emitted from the radio. Monts later, a broken voice ca through:
"This is the broadcast center of the Goblin Empire Unified Front~
This is the broadcast center of the Goblin Empire Unified Front~
This is the broadcast center of the Goblin Empire Unified Front~
We now send an urgent shelter warning to all past citizens of the empire, non-governnt organizations, and all those who hold the goblin cause dear.
The Goblin Empire has been struck by a spatial calamity, and its infrastructure has suffered significant damage; so cities have lost their original capabilities.
The highest level of imperial mobilization is now underway. We call upon all surviving imperial subjects to comnce a self-help and mutual aid movent. All surviving imperial subjects should seek assistance from the nearest city and corresponding ard forces and help other compatriots as much as possible.
All mbers and alternate mbers of the goblin council should actively organize post-disaster reconstruction efforts, unite all forces that can be united, and establish a post-disaster unified front. If you cannot rescue yourself tily, please wait for the support of the City Guard Army, Imperial Army, civilian ard forces, or ergency rescue agencies.
All territories should act as combat fortresses, confront difficulties head-on, and exert all efforts to maintain the survival of the Goblin Empire. If necessary, be prepared to make sacrifices. This is an inevitable choice to preserve the embers of the empire and a solemn commitnt to all of our citizens.
The Goblin Empire stands and will not abandon the life of any imperial citizen. Please, all compatriots, set aside prejudices, guard against cris, and staunchly oppose the internal strife brought by disorder. Wait peacefully for the new dawn.
This is an announcent from the Goblin Empire Unified Front Command Center.
Please spread this ssage to all compatriots.
Long live the Empire!"
The voice that ca from the radio was loud and clear; if Kael had been a citizen of the goblin empire, he would have undoubtedly been deeply moved... Experience new stories on .Côm
But the louder that voice beca, Kael felt it was increasingly filled with sighs... and irony.
Because at the ti this voice was heard, the goblins of Wandong City had yet to learn that their Royal Capital had been leveled to the ground by nine Divine Descent survivors chosen by the gods.
What’s more ironic is... that on the continent, no trace of the Goblin Empire remained.
Their lands were divided, their descendants turned into pigs in the wilderness, and the few remaining high goblins, once the splendor of the Goblin Empire’s era, were all trained into greedy vampires.
Outside of Wandong City in the endless wilderness, there was no sign of goblin life.
For that seemingly endless wilderness... was after all just a Dungeon.
Here echoed the reverberations of history, inaudible to the true annals.
The past, like a terrible nightmare.
On the twentieth year of his arrival in this world, when Kael regained his mories, he felt an unending sense of panic.
This was the cloud that had hung over the Dungeon for years, having a tangible impact on his body.
So much so that upon regaining his mories, the first thing he had to do was suppress the various emotions that should not have been present, brought on by the body’s original mories.
"The Alliance forces..." Kael chewed on the na slowly, as if he wanted to crush the word and its aning in his mouth, but in the end, it turned into a long sigh.
If he were in the position of the Alliance forces, Kael thought it would have been relatively easy for him to earn a high score.
