Now seeing the internal voting within the Dawn Lord Church, phiel couldn't even keep his basic position intact, all the previous confidence turned into a joke.

This absurd and unruly scene even made them doubt whether they had overestimated phiel. This guy who has sat in the Pope position for so many years was no longer the untouchable figure he used to be.

"What a truly splendid performance!"

phiel gently clapped his hands, wearing a genuine smile of pleasure, stood up, and walked to Bishop Robert, patting his shoulder and saying:

"Now, you will be the next Pope."

Then he raised his head to look at Mistro, saying: "According to the relevant regulations of the Dawn Lord Church, since the next Pope has been confird, let's send the na of trust in the Pope to the divine realm of my Lord!"

He acted as if he was indifferent to being stripped of the Papal position, sat in the main seat, and began to invoke the Holy Light Power within him, sketching divine texts that floated in the void.

The divine texts glowed faintly, and phiel nonchalantly said: "After the divine texts are sent and receive my Lord's approval, you must do your best to carry on!"

As he spoke, his fingers didn't pause, writing all the floating divine texts in mid-air, then he looked at Judge Mistro, saying with aningful intent:

"Are there any more questions now?"

Even Mistro, who was always picky, did not expect phiel to concede so easily. Although there seed to be sothing subtle, seeing phiel willingly finish writing the divine texts for the Papal succession, he sighed with relief inside.

Although he didn't know what else phiel might have in store, at least the Papal position had been regained for now.

"No problem,"

phiel nodded and touched the divine texts, which transford into a stream of light and rged towards the Dawn Lord Cathedral atop the holy Briania mountain.

At this point, those present finally felt the atmosphere becoming lively again, not daring to breathe a word earlier.

At this mont, sothing seed to change in the distance of the Holy Mountain. A stream of light leapt from the horizon to the scene, crashing into the glass of the Holy Hall Council in a blaze of flas.

A faint pressure made everyone's hearts tremble. Is this...the power of the Lord of Dawn?

In fact, before they could react, the middle and upper ranks of the Dawn Lord Church had already risen to show their welco, slightly bowing and saying:

"My Lord!"

From the blazing flas ca a faint hum of response, followed by a paper written again with divine texts, falling onto the table from mid-air.

Without a doubt, this was an oracle.

As followers of the Lord of Dawn, they could feel the power remaining on the paper, identical to the power of the god they worshipped.

People began to move forward to examine it, and almost all the Archbishops who read the content turned pale.

Shifting glances looked towards Archbishop Robert and Judge Mistro.

So showed sarcastic expressions, so sighed in secret, and so even showed expressions of gods forsaken.

Mistro's heart skipped a beat and he imdiately stepped forward to read the oracle's content.

With just a glance, he uttered a sound of surprise and anger, but quickly suppressed it, his face turning extrely ugly.

So senior mbers of other churches saw this and quietly inquired about the situation.

Before he could obtain information from other top mbers of the Dawn Lord Church, Mistro gritted his teeth and said:

"Following my Lord's oracle, phiel will continue to serve as the Pope of the Dawn Lord Church, until he chooses to retire from the Papal position, after which Archbishop Robert will beco the next Pope."

Upon hearing Judge Mistro's gritted phrase, everyone instinctively shivered, knowing this matter would likely beco a major laugh.

Indeed, in terms of papal appointnt and dismissal, in actuality most churches have the authority to appoint or dismiss the Pope from within. Simply put, who assus the Papal position is directly concluded by the Church itself.

Of course, for the Dawn Lord Church, the deity would actively respond to the followers' teachings. Theoretically, a new Pope must gain approval from their deity to possess the legitimate power to rule the Church.

But the problem is that for thousands of years, the Lord of Dawn has never actively intervened in Papal selection, even when choices were filled with doubts, and the ultimate victor did not harbor deep faith in the deity, there has been no interference by the Lord of Dawn in papal selection.

Thus, from the beginning, no one expected that after choosing the ultimate victor, they would find the victor unable to obtain the deity's endorsent, even that the deity actively issued an oracle, vetoing the proposed plan by the Church.

This unexpected situation, truly left everyone astonished.

And the impact on Mistro, coming back to his senses, was even greater, as he always believed he was on the absolutely correct path guided by the deity, even actively coming forward to end phiel's control over the Dawn Lord Church was due to believing phiel was no longer suitable.
