Ning's new idea surprisingly worked. The idea was a simple one too. Why would he bother making any modifications to the massive ship when he could bee the ship itself?
With a simple body transfer, Ning became a massive ship, thanks to its seamless body making the entire ship just one thing. He left his body back in the engine room and maneuvered himself as the ship.
He slowly increased the ship's speed through space until it reached as fast as he could possibly move through space. The speed went a little above half the speed of light.
While the people on the ship had lost the time dilation, the new speed Ning brought the ship up to would help them so that they wouldn't have to spend an obscene number of years to get to their next planet.
Speaking of which, Ning had now wanted to check where they were heading.
"Is it a habitable planet?" Ning asked the system. "Can these people live there?"
Ning paused for a moment. "What? Humans already live there? Farhalys is taking them to a planet where there are already humans?"
Now that Ning thought about it, that was perhaps the best thing to do here. There weren't many people here, to begin with, so sending them to a place where there were already people living was the best approach.
"I should have thought of that," Ning said. "Well, I could have sent them to Earth too, but here I am wasting my time. Is there a way to make this journey have some fruit in return? How far is the next constellation from this planet?"
