Envi’s control slipped further as his rage spiraled out of control. He relentlessly attacked Morgan, even as the demon lay on the ground, struggling to stand. Dark Magic poured out from him, and the pressure weighed heavily on the students, Aisha, and Milly.

Panicked, I shouted at Envi, berating him. "You fool! If you keep this up, you’re going to hurt the students, Aisha, and Milly!"

But despite my plea, Envi was far beyond reasoning. Nyssa had finished her ritual, and in a flash of dark power, Envi struck, knocking Nyssa to the ground.

However, the Gehenna Gate had already opened. Dark magic surged out, rising and piercing through the underground room, reaching toward the heavens.

For a mont, nothing seed to happen. But then, Morgan spoke, his voice filled with satisfaction. "Now, I can rest easy. I’ve kept my promise to the demons."

I was confused. What promise? What did this have to do with the demons?

Before I could even process this, Nyssa’s body began to convulse, and her consciousness shattered. She transford completely into a demon. Her horns grew longer, her black hair and extended and spread dark magic, and her eyes bled red. Two massive, dark wings sprouted from her back, and in her hands was a terrifying, two large black scythes.

The demon—no, she—laughed at Morgan. "You fool. Did you truly believe in the demons?"

She revealed her true identity. "I am Norx, the Warlord of the Dreaming Void, ranked 5th among the Demon Warlords."

I froze. I knew that na. Norx was a commander of the lower demons in the Doomspire Demon Kingdom. The kingdom had two layers of demons under the Demon King: the Overlords and the Warlords. The Overlords were the top five strongest demons, rarely seen in battle, only appearing in the most critical monts. The Warlords, ranked six to ten, were still powerful and led the lower ranks in battle.

The fact that a Warlord like Norx could infiltrate our academy, hidden within Nyssa’s body, sent a chill down my spine.

Morgan, stunned, scread in panic. He never expected his own daughter to beco the vessel for Norx.

Envi, seething with fury, attacked Norx with brutal force, but Norx effortlessly countered.

She [High Dark Magic: Voidstorm], summoning a massive black storm that carried destructive power. The environnt around us twisted under its influence, and the attack hit Envi directly. His armor shattered, and he was left gravely wounded.

Weakened, Envi faltered, but then, Norx did sothing unimaginable. She seized Milly and threatened to kill her.

With a sadistic grin, Norx cast [High Dark Magic: Dreamslaughter], targeting Milly’s mind. The spell thrust her into a nightmare, a horrific dream that destroyed her hopes and will to live. It tore through her very being, turning her worst fears into painful reality. Milly scread in agony, her eyes rolling white as the nightmare consud her.

I felt the pressure of the situation weigh heavily on . Envi, consud by rage, scread in fury, but I imdiately cald him. We couldn’t afford to lose control now.

With all my strength, I seized the opportunity to switch bodies with Envi. Now I took control over Naoki’s body, feeling a sharp pain course through . The Dark Magic was still eating away at my mind, my body still trapped in [Abyssal Wrath Mode], even though it had already exceeded its ten-minute limit. The pain was excruciating, my head throbbing, and my hair slowly turning white from the strain.

I knew if I didn’t end this quickly, I would be lost to madness, just like Envi.

I gazed at Milly, her fragile form trembling in pain, and a wave of determination washed over . If I didn’t act fast, I might lose her forever.

Suddenly, a mory surfaced in my mind, a mory from my past life on Earth.

...

Nana was my only older sister on Earth. As the eldest, she was strong-willed and independent—traits that made her more like a tomboy than a typical older sister.

Growing up, it was always and my younger brother Naki, and Nana was often the one leading the charge in our gas. We used to play wrestle matches, and sohow, she always won. Nana was more like a big brother than either Naki or I ever could be.

I rember one day, Nana and I were walking to a candy shop near our ho. Out of nowhere, a stray dog charged at us, barking fiercely. I was terrified, but Nana, ever the protector, stood in front of .

Just as the dog lunged, Nana kicked it right in the head, shouting, "Onee-chan Kick!"

The dog yelped in pain and fled.

Nana imdiately turned to comfort , holding as I cried. I rember her smiling down at , her wide grin full of warmth. "Don’t worry, I’ll always protect you," she said. "Because that’s what big sisters do. And when we get a younger sibling, you’ll be the one to protect them."

At that mont, I promised Nana that I would protect our future little sibling—who was still in our mother’s womb at the ti.

But fate had other plans. My mother miscarried, and the little sibling we were supposed to have was lost before they even had a chance to be born.

That mory hit like a storm, and the sadness of that mont filled my heart. Now, as Naoki, I had Milly, my cute, stubborn little sister. And despite her tsundere nature, she was my precious little sister, and I had promised to protect her just like Nana had protected .

I clenched my fists, my resolve hardening.

I will protect you, Milly. Just like Nana protected .

"I will be the big brother you deserve, just like Nana," I whispered to myself, the determination in my voice unwavering.

...

With a fierce resolve to protect Milly, I felt the overwhelming surge of my [Power of Incarnation]. The magic coursed through like a storm, and in that mont, I knew I had to act.

A notification appeared before , confirming my success. I had created a new spell.

"[Dark Magic: Shadow Step]."

Without hesitation, I activated it, instantly vanishing from my spot and reappearing behind Norx. With swift precision, I drove my blade into the demon’s back, forcing her to release Milly. She was sent flying toward Morgan, crashing hard into the ground.

In a flash, I rushed to Milly, pulling her into my arms. "It’s okay, Milly. Your big brother is here to save you," I whispered, my voice trembling with both relief and determination.

Milly weakly reached up to touch my cheek. "Big bro....." she murmured before falling into a deep sleep.

My heart clenched as I looked down at her, but there was no ti to waste. Aisha stirred, panic filling her eyes as she noticed Milly’s condition. I handed Milly to Aisha, instructing her to treat her imdiately.

At that very mont, Alia, Lyra, and Sander arrived in the underground chamber, having finally caught up to .

I quickly turned to Lyra. "Lyra...Please, treat Milly." Lyra nodded and imdiately cast healing magic.

"I’ll help too. I can use my Nature Magic to heal her ntal damage." Aisha offers help and helps Lyra heal Milly.

anwhile, Alia and Sander offered their help in facing Norx and Morgan. But I shook my head, looking Alia in the eyes with determination.

"Save your magic for later, Alia. Help Sander clear out the Shadows that are starting to flood into this room."

"I will defeat these demons, trust ," I said firmly. "I will return to you, Alia... but when I do, do as I asked earlier."

Alia hesitated for a mont, her gaze unwavering. Then, with a soft smile, she spoke. "Alright... I believe in you, Naoki."

Her smile was genuine, sothing I hadn’t seen before. Usually, she would smile in a way that reminded of a Yandere. But now, there was warmth in her eyes—an undeniable trust. And for a mont, I felt the weight of her faith in , a promise that I would not let her down.

Norx, however, was not pleased. She rose from the ground, fury burning in her eyes. "Why are you different from before?!" she snarled, her voice laced with disbelief.

I couldn’t help but laugh, the sound cold and sharp. "I am Naoki von Blackmore, the future hero form Braveheart Kingdom who will defeat you."

Norx growled, annoyed by my words. "Enough talk," she spat, preparing her spell.

But before she could finish, I vanished again with [Shadow Step], reappearing behind her in an instant.

With the full force of my [Power of Incarnation], I forged another spell, though it drained my physical and ntal energy. I no longer cared about the cost—I had co this far, and I would see this through.

"[Secret Dark Magic: Eternal Nightfall]."

The spell wrapped around us like a dark sphere, isolating us from the rest of the world. Morgan, unwilling to let Norx face alone, stepped into the sphere, his presence joining the battlefield.

Now, it was only , Norx, and Morgan. The magic transported us to another dinsion, a desolate ruin under a full moon. The entire area was enveloped in shadows, a pitch-black night that blocked out all light, leaving only the haunting glow of the moon as our sole source of illumination.

This skill reminded of Canis’s [Shadow World]—the very sa spell that had trapped Rosan and once before.

Norx and Morgan were visibly stunned by my power. They hadn’t expected to be this strong.

I spoke, my voice cold and unyielding, cutting through the tension like a blade. "Now, no one will interfere. I will unleash all my fury... And I will make sure you both die here."

The words were laced with venom, and I could feel the weight of my own rage surging through . There was no turning back now. No more hesitation.
