Nao’s POV:

Seeing Vaelgorath transform into his true form sent a wave of pressure crashing down on . The sheer amount of magic he was radiating was overwhelming. He really was a monster of unimaginable strength. I felt relieved that I had managed to separate him from my comrades—if they had to face him, they would have t a grueso end.

"Nao, stay sharp! Now that his body is smaller, he’s definitely faster than before!" Envi warned , urging to check Vaelgorath’s status again.

Status:Unique Monster – Vaelgorath, the One Who Conquers Ti (True Form).Level: 95

"This... this is his real form. And his level increased by five?!" I could hardly believe what I was seeing. He was still getting stronger.

"Calm down, Nao! First, we need to analyze his attacks." Envi’s words made sense, so I nodded in agreent. Besides, I was already in [Abyssal Wrath Mode], wielding [Kurogiri], and my [Shadow Conqueror] trait was fully active. I was confident I could keep up.

I kicked off the ground, dashing toward Vaelgorath at full speed. With all the buffs I had, my body felt incredibly light, like I had lted into the shadows of my own magic domain, [Eternal Nightfall].

I launched a direct attack with [Blackmore Katana Style: Inazuma, Dark Magic Version]. My blade sliced through the air like a bolt of lightning, coated in Dark Magic, aiming straight for him.

The entire domain trembled from the force of my strike.

But Vaelgorath—he blocked it.

With just his bare hand.

His arm scales were unbelievably tough—not even a scratch. His lips curled into a smirk before he activated [Ti Stop], freezing in place.

In an instant, my body locked up. I couldn’t move—not even a fraction of an inch.

Vaelgorath extended a set of long, blade-like claws from his fingertips. Then, he lunged—aiming to impale .

"DAMN IT! That trick won’t work on again!!" I roared, pushing my Dark Magic to its limit, strengthening [Abyssal Wrath Mode].

The surge of power devoured the [Ti Stop] surrounding my body, freeing .

I countered imdiately with [Yanagi Uke!], parrying his attack and enduring the force of his [Double Impact]. Our weapons clashed, sparks flying as I twisted my stance and struck back with [Blackmore Katana Style: Tsurugi no Mai].

Three slashes landed.

I saw the cuts on his body. He actually took damage.

But then—

KUHAHAHA!

Vaelgorath simply activated [Ti Reverse].

Before my eyes, his wounds disappeared, his body restored to its unscathed state.

"You do realize how aningless this fight is, don’t you?" He sneered. "It’s only a matter of ti before I defeat you. And I—quite literally—own ti itself. The answer is obvious. YOU. CANNOT. WIN."

His gaze was filled with cruel amusent, as if trying to crush my spirit.

But I wasn’t backing down.

"You talk like you’ve already won." I glared at him. "Listen up, you damn monster—I already managed to wound you once. That alone is proof that I can defeat you. Ti manipulation or not, I will find a way to kill you. I have a goal I must reach!"

KUHAHAHAH!

"Tell , human." Vaelgorath’s laughter faded slightly as he narrowed his eyes at . "Why do you struggle so desperately? You could run away, leave your comrades behind. You could abandon your responsibilities and live a peaceful life. Tell , what drives you to—"

His voice trailed off as his expression shifted.

For the first ti, he looked at with genuine curiosity.

"I guess you’re right. I could have run away from all of this... but I chose not to." I clenched my fists as mories of my family on Earth flashed through my mind—Mother, Nana, and Naki. But it wasn’t just them. I couldn’t deny that I also cared about the people close to in this world.

"I’m going to protect them all, no matter what! Even if you or the Demon King stand in my way, I will defeat you!!" I shouted, pointing the tip of my katana directly at Vaelgorath.

For a mont, he was silent, as if contemplating my words. Then—

KUHAHAHA!

He burst into laughter again. "As expected, you are an interesting human! No wonder Canis entrusted Kurogiri to you. You are a threat to the balance of this world... and for that, I must kill you!"

A terrifying killing intent erupted from his body, so overwhelming it felt like the air itself had turned razor-sharp.

But then, he said sothing completely unexpected.

"However, before I kill you and wipe out every last human in this world... I shall grant you one final request." His voice was eerily calm. "Do you wish to see the future? The past? Spend your last monts with a loved one? Or perhaps... plead for your family’s lives? Speak. I shall keep my word."

His words caught off guard. A final request?

But... I didn’t have anything like that.

Before I could think further, Envi suddenly scread in my mind.

"NAO! Just ask him for a night with the girls! It doesn’t matter who—Alia, Lyra, Freya, Serena, even Headmistress Arsene! Hell, take all of them at once!!"

"YOU DAMN PERVERTED SYSTEM! THIS ISN’T THE TI FOR JOKES!!" I yelled back, furious at Envi’s shaless suggestion.

"I’M DEAD SERIOUS, DAMN IT! I just feel bad for you! You’re still a damn virgin! I don’t want you dying with regrets!!"

"You listen to , you damn perverted system! I AM NOT ASKING FOR THAT! Besides, you’re just a system! You’ve never been with a girl either! If I die a virgin, that ans you’ll disappear as a virgin too!!"

"..."

"Now stop ssing around and help think of a real plan to defeat Vaelgorath!!"

After a brief, pointless argunt, Envi finally gave in. I took a deep breath—then, an idea struck .

I told Envi my plan. He agreed.

"Alright, I’ll accept your offer," I said, locking eyes with Vaelgorath. "Let’s fight to the death—no holding back. But in return, I want you to release my comrades from the boss room. Teleport them out of the dungeon. I need to keep my promise to protect them."

I clenched my fists tighter. The thought of seeing Lyra, Alia, Marius, Julius, and the others escape safely... It gave peace of mind. With that, I could focus entirely on this battle.

Vaelgorath narrowed his eyes.

"Even at the very end, you put others before yourself... How fitting for a hero," he muttered. Then, he smirked. "Very well. As the dungeon boss, I shall use my authority to teleport them out."

With a low chant, Vaelgorath’s body glowed, and a massive portal opened in the distance. One by one, my comrades were pulled into it, vanishing from the dungeon.

As the last one disappeared, I exhaled in relief. Now, there was nothing holding back.

"Good. Now, let’s settle this." I leveled my katana at him. "Here and now, I will kill you, Vaelgorath!!"

With a roar, Vaelgorath lunged at , his claws flashing like blades.

I charged forward to et his attack head-on. Our strikes collided—

BOOM!!

The impact sent shockwaves rippling through the dungeon. The ground cracked beneath us, the sheer force distorting the air.

"I’m sorry to disappoint you..." I gritted my teeth, locking blades with him. "But the one dying here... is YOU, VAELGORATH!!"

Our battle had finally reached its climax.

...

Lyra’s POV:

It had been half an hour since Naoki-sama began his battle against the dungeon boss. He was using the sa magic he had once wielded against Norx at Solara Magic Academy—a spell that transported himself and his target into a dark dinsion where he could fight without limits.

But back then, he could only maintain it for ten minutes.

Now, it was different.

Naoki-sama had beco far stronger than before.

Even so, I couldn’t stop worrying about him fighting that monster alone. That creature had reduced Professor Alden to nothing but dust. His death had left all of us in shock. And yet, Naoki-sama stood tall, protecting us without hesitation.

His unwavering back, his fearless determination to shield those he loved... once again, I found myself captivated by him.

How many tis had he done this?

How many tis had he made fall deeper in love with him?

He was born to be a hero...

No.

He is my hero.

Just then, the entire dungeon trembled violently, sending waves of panic through our group. Marius and I imdiately braced ourselves, using our magic and tanking skills to protect everyone. Termina clung tightly to Julius, who was still injured.

Suddenly—

A magic circle appeared beneath our feet.

"This... this is a teleportation spell...!" I gasped, eyes widening in surprise.

"Does this an Naoki defeated the dungeon boss?" Alia clutched her chest, her voice filled with hope.

"He actually did it... That idiot, making us worry like this." Marius let out a relieved chuckle.

"I knew he would succeed..." Julius smiled weakly, still trying to endure his pain.

A wave of joy spread through our group. Slowly, our bodies began to glow, breaking apart into shimring fragnts of light as the teleportation spell activated, pulling us out of the dungeon—back to the surface.

But—

Just before I was fully teleported, sothing felt... wrong.

Naoki-sama’s domain magic was still intact.

It hadn’t collapsed.

If the battle had truly ended, his magic should have faded, and he should have been teleported out alongside us.

Naoki-sama, what’s happening? Are you alright?

I tried to reassure myself. He had won. He would be waiting for us outside the dungeon.

Closing my eyes, I whispered a silent prayer for his safety.

Then, the light engulfed completely—

And I vanished.

Slowly, I opened my eyes.

My body had fully reford, and as I looked around, I saw my companions beside . We had made it.

We had escaped the dungeon.

The battlefield outside was in ruins—a grim reminder of the dungeon break led by Zorx and the fierce battle against Cain and his team. But it seed the battle had ended.

Marius, Julius, Termina, Alia, Hendrik, and his team... everyone was overwheld with relief, their faces filled with joy.

But—

Then, we noticed it.

A nightmare that shattered our happiness in an instant.

Naoki-sama was not here.

He had not escaped the dungeon.

He was still inside.
