"Well, you see... I've told my wife and daughter about you at ho, and they seem to want to et you, especially my daughter. Akeno keeps repeating that she wants to et the cat-girl and the dragon. I hadn't told you anything before because I didn't want to bother you, but I can't stand it anymore. That's why I invite you to eat at my house today."

Barakiel just invited to eat at his house?

Co to think of it, Shuri's still alive. If Shuri's still alive, that ans I can at least get a Fate Point.

If I save Shuri, Akeno doesn't have to survive on her own for a whole year, to the point of almost dying at the hands of her own family. And she won't have to join the Rias Gremory peerage either, which will have a big impact on the main plot.

So I can get two potential points, although they may stay at one point. I'm saying one point because Shuri doesn't have much importance in the series, so saving her may not give that Fate Point.

But if I save Shuri, who doesn't have much importance in the canon, gains significance in the story, then I would gain a Fate Point.

Or so I believe.

"Of course!"

Refusal would be stupid, and I've done enough stupid things.

"If Drako says yes, then I don't have to say no Nyaa."

Kuroka said as she made her way to us.

"You're going to eat at Barakiel-sama's, I'm so envious..."

I can hear Raynare's murmur.

"With all the effort I've put into training, Waaah!"

Holy shit, is she crying again?

I thought her crying was over on the first day of training, but it seems like she has been holding back all these days.

Seriously, I think Barakiel broke her.

Poor Raynare.

"You're invited too, Raynare."

"Seriously!?"

As soon as Barakiel extended his invitation to Raynare, she rose and ran to him. All her tears magically disappeared, and her face was all smiles.

How could her face change so quickly? How can she be so thick-skinned?

"Of course, my wife also knows the girl I'm training."

"One of the leaders has invited to his house for lunch, and his wife wants to et . I'm very excited..." She murmurs softly, her eyes showing a hint of fanaticism.

You're scary, Raynare.

.........

"Here we are."

When we left Nephilim, we arrived at the sa city where Kuroka, Valina and I live. But this ti we didn't go out through the elevator of the apartnt but appeared in an alley. The four of us walked for a few minutes before arriving at a local Shrine. Going up the stone steps that passed a red Torii Shrine Gate, I spotted two new people.

I recognized the two people instantly.

The woman, whom I had mistaken for Akeno for a mont, is a great beauty. She has golden eyes, with black hair tied in a ponytail with a purple ribbon. She has an alluring figure and was wearing a Miko robe.

Behind her, clinging to her leg, was a young girl, no older than 13. She has violet eyes and long black hair and is dressed similarly to her mother.

Without a doubt, they are Shuri and Akeno.

"Welco ho, anata." Shuri welcod her husband with a smile.

"I'm back."

Barakiel reached out to his wife, hugged her around the waist, and planted a soft kiss on her lips.

I feel like I'm watching the film of beauty and the beast.

Barakiel separated from his wife and stood beside her as she watched us.

"These are the children I told you about. The boy with horns is Drako, the dragon that has drawn Akeno's attention so much. The girl with cat ears is Kuroka, Drako's partner. And lastly, there is Raynare, my pupil." Barakiel introduced us to Shuri.

Shuri looked at us one by one and smiled. A beautiful smile, which, combined with her Miko attire, made Shuri look like an angel. Her gaze settled on Raynare for a few more seconds.

"You are as beautiful as your mother," Akeno told her.

A hint of sadness passed through Raynare's eyes, and she muttered a "thank you" in a low voice.

What's going on here? Isn't Raynare an angel who ca down from heaven?

It doesn't look like it. She is descended from at least one fallen angel, and it seems that Shuri knows Raynare's mother.

"I am Shuri, the wife of Barakiel, and this is my daughter Akeno. Barakiel has spoken very highly of all of you, so my daughter and I wanted to et you."

Shuri turned to the young girl that stuck close behind her.

Now that she was in front of her parents, she walked shyly in front of everyone and introduced herself.

"I'm Hijima Akeno. I'm honoured to et you. Akeno bowed nervously.

She's adorable...

We entered the house after we introduced ourselves.

Shuri looks like a typical Japanese housewife, but you can tell she cos from a noble family. The way she talks and deals with us, and with the education she has, you can tell she cos from a big family.

Otherwise, she is very nice and kind. She is the typical housewife that appears in the ani. That's my impression of her.

If you look at it this way, she seems like a pretty flat character. But everything changes when you know her story.

Shuri was born into the Hijima family, one of the five great clans of Japan. Call it fate, call it plot armour, she t a wounded Barakiel and decided to save him.

It is not known who succeeded in injuring Barakiel, but he should be strong enough to cause such damage to a Cadre. It should be rembered that a Cadre has powers similar to a Satan, and Barakiel is a particularly strong Cadre thanks to his Holy Lighting.

Holy Lighting is the most powerful attack within Grigori. Not even Azazel can cause so much damage in one move.

Back to Shuri. She and Barakiel fell in love after that event, and as a result, they had Akeno. Everything seed happy and contented, but the Hijima clan did not seem to accept that relationship, so they had to hide from them.

Another thing I don't understand. Can't Barakiel really take care of a simple human clan?
