Then I can turn my companions into Servants. That's a pretty interesting idea.

"Do they get a Noble Phantasm when I make them my Servants?"

That's another question I have. The system seems very simple, but it has many aspects to consider.

"Not at the mont, but they can get them later."

"How?"

"I told you before that the Fate Skills are the only ones you can get with the Gacha, and I've already explained how you can get the Servants. The Noble Phantasm, like the Servants, can be obtained in two ways.

"The first is the Gacha, by spending 1 Fate Point, you can get a random Noble Phantasm. From the best Noble Phantasm to the worst one, always randomly. Once you get it, you can choose to keep it yourself or give it to one of your Servants that you've turned."

"In other words, the Servants you get from the Throne of Heroes can't get any Noble Phantasm you get from the Gacha. Only the Servants you have turned into Servants can get it."

"So, if I get an Enuma Elish from the Gacha, I can't give it to the Servant Siegfried I got from the Gacha."

The old man nods his head.

"One more thing you need to know. Once you've given soone a Noble Phantasm, you can't get it back. So think carefully before you give soone a Noble Phantasm."

"I'll keep that in mind. What's the other way to get a Noble Phantasm?"

"Obtain items that can be considered a Noble Phantasm. That has a reputation in the world where they belong that can be considered Noble Phantasm."

What the fuck is this old man saying?

"I don't understand."

I'm telling you in all honesty.

"I think you'd understand better with examples. In DxD, one example would be Sacred Gears. More specifically, Longinus. But not only them, demonic swords like Gram and sacred swords like Excalibur and Durandal can also be considered Noble Phantasm. If a Noble Phantasm already exists with the sa na as this weapon/being/object, it is replaced, and it gains the sa power and characteristics as the Noble Phantasm that already exists."

"I think I understand that, more or less."

I think I understand how the system works. And it's no worse than the first system. What the fuck, it's so much better!

With this system, I can get an army of OP characters, and I can turn OP characters into even more OP characters. Why do I need to increase my strength if I can get OP characters everywhere?

Now, I just have to see how those Fate Points work. They seem to be very important since the Gacha doesn't function without them.

"Dude, tell about the Fate Points."

The old man massages his forehead and mutters, "That's what I've been trying to tell you for a while..."

I know, man. But you can't go around leaving other explanations in the middle.

"Fate Points are the key to this system. Without them, you can't do anything. You need Fate Points to turn your allies into Servants, to get Servants in the Gacha, to turn weapons into Noble Phantasm, to get Noble Phantasm in the Gacha and to get Fate Skills in the Gacha. "

"In short, you need Fate Skills for anything that involves this system."

My dream of getting an army of Servants is slowly crumbling...

Don't make that face, old man.

"How do I get these Fate Points?"

Don't put on that smug smile, man. It makes want to hit you.

"Fate Points are obtained by changing the fate of people living in the looped worlds. You already have two points, and those co from changing the fate of two people who are directly or indirectly involved in events that occur in the DxD world. You know who they are, don't you?"

Yes, I know who they are.

"Kuroka and Shirone, right?"

"That's right. By rescuing both sisters, you've changed the flow of fate in this world into a loop. Although the main story will still happen, the plot, side events, and relationship between characters will be different. However, I don't know to what degree."

"You an I'll get points as long as I alter the influence and role of a character, both main and secondary, in the story?"

To my question, the old man nods again.

"As expected from my daughter's chosen one. You seem to have so brains, although your decisions are a little questionable."

Fucking old man...

"So, you have two Fate Points. Yours is the choice of what to do with them. Will you choose a Noble Phantasm? Will you call two Servants? Will you get a Fate Skill? Or... Will you make the two girls your Servants?"

As much as I hate the look on the old man's face right now, I have to think this question through.

Trying my luck at getting a Noble Phantasm for is very tempting, but is that the choice I have to make?

Summoning two Servants seems a better option for . In that case, I would have two companions who would help improve and make a na for myself in this world.

But the Servants I call may not be the ones I am most interested in, they may even betray . There are examples of that in the ani, like Gilgash betraying his master in Fate: Zero. I don't currently have the strength to defend myself from a possible betrayal.

Fate Skills... I don't know what exactly Fate Skills are, but I don't think they're necessary right now.

Turning Kuroka and Shirone into Servants seems like a safe option, but I'm a little reluctant to do it.

I an, I do have a chance to summon a hero from the past. One of whom I grew up listening to your stories.

And a Noble Phantasm, I'd love to have my own Noble Phantasm. I've always dread of having one ever since I first saw Fate.

...

What should I do?

I know!

"I've made my decision."
