Reincarnated as a Novel's Villain: Creator of Curses and Blessings Chapter 53: Aharok died?
’’Hey, co down, bro. That sheep is dead.’’ A soldier demon said, trying to calm Hector, who was chopping a human soldier.
At that mont, Hector finally stopped his brutal actions. He glanced at the soldier demon coldly, making him flinch.
’’Alright, sorry. These sheep disgusted , so I couldn’t control myself and stop killing them.’’
The soldier demon nodded and glanced at everyone.
’’Let’s go back to the fortress.’’
***
Hector narrowed his eyes while observing the fortress. He didn’t expect this place to have such numbers inside. For sure, if he acted together with the humans, the chance of failure for this mission was 100%.
He glanced around and walked slowly to a certain point, his figure already at the last row of the demon troop.
Eventually, he quickly perford [Dance of Shadow] and slipped into a proper hiding spot.
He rushed to a nearby building without letting any demon soldier notice him.
’’Hey! What are you doing in my house?’’ A demon who had been sleeping shot up when a stranger entered his shelter.
Hector slowly approached the demon and said,
’’Bro, the commander just sent here to find you. A reward is waiting for you. Co on, we need you to co with the commander.’’
’’Really? I hope he’ll grant a...’’ But before he could finish his sentence, Hector stabbed his sword through the demon’s chest.
The demon’s expression twisted in agony as he looked at Hector with unbearable pain on his face.
’’Sorry... the commander’s reward for you is death.’’
[You have slain a 4 green mana core demon]
[You have received 30 green mana cores]
Hector smirked and slashed the demon in half before commanding Aharok.
’’Wipe out the corpse.’’
Well, he didn’t want to leave any trace in this room. At least, it would buy him so ti before he could find any useful information inside the fortress.
Hector glanced around, then looked outside through the glass window.
A lot of demon soldiers were still guarding the area.
(It’s not a good timing. I’ll wait for more ti to act.)
Just like that, two hours later.
Hector climbed onto the roof of the building, his attention turning to the highest structure.
He glanced around carefully and approached the building. He hoped it would give him a good spot to observe all the forces inside the fortress.
For sure, he wouldn’t allow any demon to sense his presence. But it wasn’t a big problem when he could easily slip past them with [Dance of Shadow].
(Finally, a good spot.)
Hector lay on the roof while observing the fortress. He slowly frowned as he assessed the demons’ forces.
(A lot... at least 5,000 soldiers.)
Even at first glance, he could tell there had to be even more forces than what he could see.
(I should look for sothing else.)
Hector nodded to himself, then carefully leaped from one rooftop to another. Finally, he saw a magnificent building.
(The biggest building must be the commander’s.)
He activated [Eyes of Predator] to observe the figure inside the largest building from afar.
(He must be the commander.)
It seed the demon was still working. Therefore, Hector needed to wait a bit longer until the commander left his workroom.
Thirty minutes later, after the commander left the room, Hector slipped in to spy on it. His eyes scanned the place before stopping at what he judged to be the most important items.
Papers, he guessed.
Maybe the demons stored information about their plans, or letters from higher-ups. Either way, he would find sothing useful.
(An encoded ssage... whatever, I guess it’s sothing important.)
Hector nodded to himself again before leaving the room, satisfied.
Finally, he perched on top of the building, thinking of a way to escape the fortress.
(Well, I think I’ll leave them a gift before I go.)
***
’’AAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!’’ A soldier demon scread in agony as his body was torn into pieces.
’’NOOOOO!’’
Another demon stepped back in fear before yelling to everyone in the fortress.
’’RED ALERT! RED ALERT! ...ENEMY!’’
But that demon quickly collapsed when a gravity force dragged him back.
’’NOOOOOOO!’’
Bang!
The demon instantly turned into a puddle of blood under a series of Aharok’s blows.
’’A hideous monster!’’
Just like that, troops quickly gathered to kill the hideous monster. They arranged a tight formation, surrounding it.
anwhile, the archers stood behind, aiming at the monster.
Everyone was ready to act, but then a voice rang out.
’’Don’t waste your lives on that damned monster. Just leave it to .’’
A red-skinned demon stepped forward, his body packed with firm muscles. A long sword hung at his belt.
All the demon soldiers looked at him with fear on their faces, stepping aside and letting him approach the place where Aharok was massacring the wretched demons.
He fired a small fla at Aharok, instantly burning him to ash. The next mont, he smirked when he saw the hideous monster regenerate right away, then began to suppress him with gravity.
A heavy gravitational force crashed down, weighing the demon, yet the demon remained steady. He showed no damage before Aharok’s blows.
’’A monster with ridiculous regeneration... interesting.’’
Again, he released another fla, but this ti it expanded to ten ters.
Bang!
Aharok died.
But the aftermath of that strike caused massive damage to the fortress, destroying everything within a radius of one hundred ters.
Many soldier demons died because of the commander’s brutal actions.
’’It’s a summon... I’m sure the summoner is still around. Split up and find him right now.’’
’’Yes, sir.’’ The demon soldiers nodded and moved out.
***
’’Aharok died?’’ Hector scowled as he felt the connection between him and Aharok vanish.
It was an empty feeling.
But to kill Aharok in a single strike, I made sure the enemy had to unleash a powerful blow to finish him. Otherwise, Aharok would regenerate imdiately.
’’But it’s not a big deal. After all, I’ve already left the fortress.’’
Hector smirked as he leaped from one tree to another.
