Lu Chen narrowed his eyes to look at the three n kneeling down on the terrace. They were badly injured and bleeding as if soone had thrashed them left and right.
"Ah yes. They didn't listen to when I asked nicely." Su Yan yawned.
"That's fine." Lu Chen waved his hand and continued looking at the kneeling n. The uniforms they were wearing were extrely familiar. He had no doubt who they were.
"What are you three doing here? Spying on us?"
His deanor was stern and cold, completely different from the patient person he was a couple of minutes ago when he had been talking to the ferocious wolf.
Why was this person treating a beast better than human beings?
The three n wanted to cry. They had thought that this would be an easy mission but they had gotten caught in sothing that was beyond their comprehension.
Everyone in their camp knew about the chira but these monsters in human skin were worse than those chiras!
"We… we just ca here by mistake. Please let us go. Otherwise, the army will not let you off easily." The person kneeling at the front whimpered.
"Eh? Are you guys trying to beg or threaten? You should really make up your mind." Su Yan chuckled.
Lu Chen didn't say anything. He remained silent for a while, allowing Su Yan to continue taunting the three.
Finally, after a couple of minutes, he looked at the three n. "Your life probably depends on your answer. So think before you speak."
"The E sector apartnt complex near your base, do you know where that is?"
The three n looked at each other in confusion. They had no idea what he was talking about and why he was asking them this question.
"Yes, I know where it is." One of them answered.
"Are there any units guarding it? What is the schedule of your patrol group? How much of the security is outside the city limits and how much of it is inside?"
Lu Chen started asking for more details, almost getting a whole layout of the enemy's campsite.
Su Yan looked between Lu Chen and the captured enemies.
What is he doing? He scratched his head and since this had nothing to do with him, he whistled casually and walked over to a shadow near the corner.
"Co out. Co out, doggie. Let's play."
Lu Chen who was busy interrogating the three paused for a mont to turn and see if his friend's condition had worsened and if he had gone even more insane.
He was now talking to a wall?
But when he looked closely at the wall, the shadow in the corner seed shaky. And the next instant, a big black wolf erged from within.
[Fuuuuck!] Qin Hua was speechless. She thought that her presence was invisible but this bastard had sniffed her out.
Wait, how did he sniff her out?
Grrrrr. She snarled at the person and snapped at canines at him.
"Heh. You don't want to play? Why are you so angry, doggie?" Su Yan held up his hand to reveal a big shiny mana core.
"Co on. Look here. Do you want this? Go fetch!"
He showed the mana core to Qin Hua again and pulled his hand back, casually tossing it out.
BOOM!
The air reverberated as the mana core shot forward like a bullet. At that mont, Qin Hua didn't have much ti to think and she acted out of instinct.
How could she possibly let go of such a big mana core?
Without any thought, she leaped out of the terrace, bounding towards the thrown out mana core almost as fast as the throw itself.

Her elegant lycan figure transford mid air as she swiped at the mana core and caught it before it could ever touch the ground.
She then landed roughly on the ground, losing a big chunk of her health because of the hit from the impact.
But she nevertheless smiled contently as the mana core was safely nuzzled in her paw.
She then quickly absorbed it, licking her lips as she switched places with her clone that had remained back on the terrace.
She even had a triumphant smile on her face. Everyone looked at her with completely stunned and silly expressions.
[Hmph! Foolish humans!] Qin Hua growled at the three kneeling down and arrogantly turned to look at Su Yan when she stopped abruptly.
It was her turn to look shocked as he stared with her mouth agape at the amused expression on the hateful person's face.
What the fuck is he happy about? She growled in annoyance.
As if answering her question, Su Yan opened his mouth and spoke again. "Good doggie. Want to play again? Here, fetch this one too."
He clapped his hands and threw out another mana core.
Qin Hua was just about to rush out to catch this one as well, when realization dawned on her. This guy was playing her like she was his pet dog! For his own damn entertainnt!
[Damn it! I should have never saved this prick!] She growled and dashed towards him to give him a good swipe or two.
[You want to play with ? Sure, let's play bitch!]
Su Yan, however, looked even more amused. "Oh, you want to wrestle doggie? Fine by . Let's do it. Bring it on."
The wolf and the human soon started sparring with each other.
As the beast moved her paws in a frenzy aiming for non vital points, the human casually evaded her attacks by leaning left, right and center.
To a random bystander, such a sight probably looked like a happy child playing with his dog on a warm sunny sunday afternoon.
However, Lu Chen was speechless. These two were going to kill each other and probably also him!
"Su Yan. Little white. STOP. NOW." He froze the entire terrace floor, making the two lose their balance.
However, they balanced themselves and did not fall. Only the three kneeling guys slipped and fell down, injuring themselves further and yelping in pain.
"I have an important request for both of you. So stop ssing around." Lu Chen solemnly muttered.
