After seeing that the tabby was completely unhard, Qin Hua sighed in relief. She threw it back on top of her and growled angrily. [Don't go anywhere without my permission again!]
Now that things were settled and Coco had returned safely, her eyes once again darted to the black portal. [So we can walk in and out? Just like that? Woof!]
She ruffled the cat's head and asked it. [What did you see inside?]
But, the cat only wordlessly stared back at her. Though she was able to understand and follow her instructions, she was still not able to communicate with her back.

Woof! Qin Hua changed her thod of asking and phrased it differently. [Was there sothing scary inside?]
This ti, the cat quickly nodded her head up and down as if she was saying yes. Qin Hua was now even more concerned.
So there was indeed sothing dangerous inside but the tabby cat was able to walk in and walk out. Did this an she could also walk in and hunt sothing and walk out later?
Growl! Qin Hua pondered about this for a while but in the end, all she could do was speculate and make assumptions which led to nowhere.
The only way to get any concrete answers was to directly step into the lion's cave.
Growl! Qin Hua snapped her canines at the black swirling vortex and the next second, she steeled herself and placed her paw on it.
Instantly, her world turned dark and the cat's loud owing sounds rang loudly in her ears. The two of them were suddenly standing on sothing that looked like a dark underground cave.
[What the hell is this? Woof!]
Even in the dark, she was able to make out all the details including the tiniest bump on the cave's wall, and cautiously looked around her.
Almost imdiately, a notification chid in front of her.
[Ding. You have entered a spatial rift]
[Ding. A new unique quest has been generated]
[Ding. Secure the crystal core of the rift]
[Ding. Reward: 50000 experience points; 10 skill points]
A quest after so long! The wolf was visibly surprised.
After reading this, her eyes bulged twice their size from the sheer size of the rewards.
[How generous! Woof!]
These many experience points would definitely push her level, which had stagnated for a while now, at least twice or even thrice.
She licked her lips in excitent, but at the sa ti, she also ntally prepared herself for the things that she was about to face.
How could there be such luxurious rewards without any risk?

The wolf's eyes sparkled as she tried to peer into the darkness that spread ahead of her, but thanks to her enhanced vision, she was able to see everything clearly.
Before starting, she turned around and warned the other person next to her first.

It looked like she was also able to see in the darkness but clearly, her vision wasn't as good as Qin Hua's as it sounded fearful and stuck close to her even before she commanded it to.
[Alright. Here we go. Woof.] Qin Hua cald her down and strutted forward cautiously. She paid attention to all her senses taking everything in as she moved.
The vast empty cave sprawled out in front of her like a never ending cavern and before long, sothing tall and bony stepped out in front of her.
Crunch. Crack. Crack. Crack.
[Woof! Inspect!]
[Ding. Skeletal soldier; Level 35]
Undead creature? Qin Hua did not have any more ti to think as the skeleton in front of her started coming at her waving its rusty sword.
Clang. Clang. Clang. The tal hit the walls of the cave, a screeching sound echoing in the dark desolate space.
Qin Hua imdiately sent out a couple of dark arrows and as the arrows moved, her claws enshrouded in black wisps also reached the skeletal figure, attacking its vital joints.
[Coco! Be ready to heal !] She growled.
However, it was unnecessary as the soldier entirely fell apart like a bundle of bones not able to withstand her single attack.
Thud. Thud. Thud. All the fragnts of the broken bones fell down and scattered on the cave's ground.
[Ding. 1 Skeletal soldier killed]
[50 Experience points have been rewarded]
Woof! Qin Hua was overjoyed. Apart from the quest's generous experience points, it seed that she was also able to obtain more experience points from these smaller monsters.
[This is going to be a good haul!] Revealing a big grin, she smacked her mouth eagerly and pounced ahead, hoping to spot another one of the skeletal soldiers.
[Coco buddy, I should have never doubted your luck. Mu ha ha ha!]
She didn't have to search for long as another three skeletons ca rushing towards her not long after.

This ti Qin Hua did not even lift a muscle and rather crafted her arrows more like thicker more powerful spears that shot forward.
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
Each arrow hit one skeleton at the center of its body and the creature shattered and blasted upon impact!
