Chapter 17 - Monster Vs Monster

Su Yan raised his hands feebly to protect himself from the incoming attack.

It was more of a fluent reflex action than a trained block for the fast approaching blow.

ARGHHHHH

He scread in anticipation because he had a feeling he might not be able to do so once the blow landed.

He closed his eyes and scrunched his face in preparation for his final monts on this freakish Earth.

And the next instant a loud screeching noise echoed.

It was the typical irritating teeth chattering noise coming from a tallic object scratching against another tallic object.

Su Yan blinked in confusion. He was not in pain.

Alex and Lu Chen blinked in confusion. Their friend was sohow still standing.

Even Qin Hua stared at the scene with her eyes wide open.

Because when the monster had crazily slashed towards Su Yan, it was not him who got hurt.

She could see that the monster or rather, sister Min was gravely wounded, with blood oozing out.

The monster's nails and fingers and even parts of the hand were entirely damaged.

It was then that everyone's attention turned towards Su Yan looking at him with more focus.

His two hands that he had lifted up and crossed to block the attack had sohow morphed into sothing supernatural.

His entire arm was covered by black tallic scales like that of a pangolin's, but maybe much stronger.

In fact, the strength and toughness were completely off the charts.

The monster could not even touch his reinforced skin after using its full force.

Su Yan was completely amazed looking at his skin. He was supposed to die but now everything had changed.

Since he now had a real chance to defeat the monstrosity in front of him, he didn't hesitate any longer.

His body was pumping him up with excess adrenaline and his heart was pounding like a machine gun.

Su Yan snapped out of his trance. He readied himself and swiftly changed into an offensive position.

The monster as well, geared up for the next attack. It did not back off even after its heavily wounded state.

In fact, the flesh wound had already begun healing and even its nails were restored, much stronger and sharper than before.

It was ready to attack again.

Su Yan did not wait and allow Sister Min to regenerate completely. He took a deep breath of air and rushed forward.

Su Yan felt his entire body bursting with power. He felt as if he was ten tis stronger and faster than before.

He pulled back his reinforced tallic arm, gathering every ounce of force he could muster, and bashed directly on the monster's head.

A loud thud resounded. Blood spilled everywhere.

The monster's head had cracked with its scalp torn and skull showing.

Pieces of mutated flesh were stuck on the sharp scales of Su Yan's arm.

The monster's movents had visibly slowed down but it was still not enough to put it down completely.

Su Yan gaped in amazent. Such overwhelming strength!

He didn't relax yet and attacked the monster again and again with his morphed scaly strong arm.

Qin Hua stared at the monster's miserable plight and then back at Su Yan.

[My master is fierce!]

WOOF! Qin Hua barked excitedly!

She was already aware of Su Yan's transformation ability but did not know that it was so superb!

Qin Hua struggled and got back up ignoring the searing pain on her body.

She wanted to help out Su Yan in the fight, even if it was just a little bit.

In the midst of the chaotic bashing action which was going on in the top, Little white bared its canines and repeatedly bit the monster in its feet.

Her bite looked like a normal puppy dog bite from the outside.

Being a small puppy, the bite barely even registered a mark on the monster's skin, but still, its health was decreasing like crazy.

[Leech Bite activated, victim's health will reduce by 1 HP every minute]

[The skill does not stack]

[Leech Bite activated, victim's health will reduce by 1 HP every minute]

[The skill does not stack]

Woof! Qin Hua barked understanding the aning of the notification. It looked like no matter how many tis she bit the zombie, the skill activated only once.

But it didn't matter, the health was dropping slowly and she continued biting it with ferocity.

Su Yan, of course, did not notice the scrappy little thing going at it below him.

His entire focus was on the monster in front of him. The fight was almost over.

With each punch he threw, Su Yan could feel his aggression and rage increasing.

An unfathomable power was surging within him.

The black tallic scales began to rise and the color changed from black to reddish hue.

Su Yan felt an overwhelming need to vent out the anger building up within him.

He could not control the pressure building up inside him and with his 20th punch, his left hand glowed brightly.

It had a weird glimring red hot aura around it.

The force of this punch was unexpectedly almost 100 tis the previous strength and it completely demolished the monster's head and even half of its body.

Blood and flesh splattered everywhere. The monster's body fell down, limp, and rendered dead.

Everything was deathly silent as the monster's corpse laid still, obnoxiously staring at everyone's gobsmacked faces.
