The darkened sky of Tengu City stretched out before them like a canvas for a montous confrontation, the cold breeze cutting through the air.

Above the rooftops, in a secluded corner of the city, two spirits stood in front of each other, their presence sending a ripple of uneasy energy through the surroundings.

Shido's heart pounded as he stared at the woman before him, Tokisaki Kurumi, the woman with a gaze that spoke of desires beyond re affection.

She looked at him with eyes that were sharp and calculating, and yet there was sothing unnerving about the hunger he saw reflected in them.

"System, what's going on?" he muttered under his breath, feeling the unusual pull he couldn't quite shake. But the system's reply wasn't what he was expecting.

Ding!

[The Spirit Body is functioning properly. It is currently operating beyond the system's capacity.]

Shido's eyes narrowed. "If it's working then why does she look like she wants to devour !?" Shido rebuked at pointed at Kurumi who's eyes were filled with desire to possess his whole being.

The system was speechless to say anything.

[...]

He shook his head in confusion, feeling the vague sensation of unease that pulsed around him.

Shido took a deep breath. His internal warning alarms started ringing, his instincts scread that he was dangerously close to a line he didn't want to cross, even if it was with soone like her.

"She's different from the one I know in the ani...or is she really like this?" he whispered to himself.

He then silently used his scan to see Kurumi's stats.

"Oh, shit..." he muttered to himself, realizing just how much trouble he might be in.

Shido's eyes widened as he scanned her stats, taking in her sheer strength, agility, and intelligence.

But what was really amazing was her charm, which was A . Shido had to admit that her charm stat was justified since Kurumi was very charming, although she was a bit crazy.

With Kurumi's stats, she might have a chance to defeat Tohka even when her Level was lower, Kurumi had a powerful Angel that could match Tohka's Level.

She wasn't just another Spirit. She was a force to be reckoned with.

When he looked back at her, Kurumi's deanor had shifted as her breathing steadied and was replaced by a composed almost serene look she directed at him.

Her gaze softened to sothing dangerously affectionate, and the mont between them beca filled with a strangely intimate, yet unsettling, aura.

The silence that stretched between them felt unbearable before Kurumi broke it, her voice was as soft and inviting as the warmth of a sumr breeze. "Say, Shido-san, how about you beco mine?"

Shido's eyes widened in shock. Her words hung in the air with thick implication. 'Did she fall in love with ?' he thought, his mind spinning for an explanation.

"What... do you an?" he asked carefully, still trying to read her intentions.

Kurumi smiled knowingly and took a step forward. "It's exactly what I said..."

With each word, she closed the distance between them until she reached him.

She raised her arms and trailed her soft hands gently along his cheek, caressing its warmth as she leaned in closer.

Shido stood motionless with his senses heightened as he activated his Observation Haki and prepared to react if she attempted anything.

"I think... I've fallen in love with you..." she whispered, her tone now shifting to an affectionate one.

"I see... Pardon my doubt, but you don't look like soone who would fall in love at first sight..."

Kurumi giggled with an eerie sweetness in her voice.

"Oh? What's this? You're talking like you know very well," she teased as her hand never left his face.

The seductive look in her eyes was unmistakable.

Shido on the other hand was already tense as he silently shouted in his mine

'Of course, I know you! Everyone who watches the ani knows how crazy you are!!'

"You're wrong, by the way. The mont I laid eyes on you, I was captivated..."

Shido wasn't sure what to feel. Her gaze was piercing, but it wasn't pure love. He knew what real affection looked like and this was different, there was sothing almost predatory about her eyes.

Her voice turned playful, though there was an underlying madness creeping through.

"Ah, this is so vexing, I don't think I can leave you anymore, Shido-san..." Kurumi chuckled in a manner that suggested not an ounce of sincerity, her eyes now looking a little too wild.

"Ara~, what should I do? This is truly a big problem!"

Shido's frown deepened as the strange excitent on her face hinted that she wasn't playing a ga, she truly wasn't going to let him leave.

Those eyes were full of obsession, like a gold-digging beggar looking at a wealthy lady. It wasn't love. It was sothing darker.

And when Kurumi continued, her voice dipped into sothing dangerous,

"Say, Shido-kun... why don't we join together? As one. We'll never have to be apart again."

Her eyes flashed dangerously, and without warning, the space around them seed to warp, an eerie, suffocating presence filling the air.

Shido felt his hair stand on end as Kurumi's sinister laugh echoed in the darkening sky.

"Oh, don't even think about saying no. I might get angry, you see..."

The atmosphere shifted violently, and with a fluid gesture, Kurumi's power manifested a swirling domain of crimson darkness that expanded around them, trapping the area in an unsettling void.

But Shido had already begun to move, his feet leaving the ground and propelling him into the air.

As soon as he was airborne, he glanced back, witnessing her twisted smirk.

"So, is that a no?" she mockingly asked.

The words stung more than they should have.

Her follow-up was venomous. "A beautiful woman like confesses her feelings to you, and you just rejected ?"

She paused and wiped away her nonexistent tears, her expression was as if she had undergone a heavy break up.

"How cruel..."

Shido narrowed his eyes.

No matter how pitiful she looks right now, Shido is well aware of how skilled Kurumi is as an actress.

It was clear now that Kurumi wasn't going to back down easily. He needed to fight and find a chance to escape.

But instead of a physical attack, she surprised him once again, this ti, by summoning her angel.

"Zafkiel!"

A bolt of black and red lightning suddenly shot from Kurumi's hand, crashing behind her and spreading like an ominous shadow.

The flash of red light dimd just enough to reveal the towering form of her angel, a massive, eerie clock with sinister hands.

Two guns materialized on her hands.

Kurumi's voice dripped with mocking affection.

"Let's see how well you do against ti itself, Shido-san."

Shido beca serious as he knew what was coming. Kurumi had gone all out, using her most dangerous asset. He could feel the weight of the mont, a battle of ti, light, and darkness would soon unfold.

Kurumi's voice suddenly snapped with excitent, and in an instant, she raised her gun.

"First Bullet Aleph!"

The clock on Zafkiel lit up, its hand signaling the movent of ti, and just like that, she was gone.

She blurred from her position and reappeared instantaneously next to him, moving faster than the human eye could follow.

Shido's instincts scread in warning. She was using her First Bullet, which amplified her speed drastically.

But with Observation Haki and his newly enhanced Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan, Shido was prepared.

'This was Kurumi at her peak, but he wasn't just going to stand there.'

With lightning speed, he countered.

"Yad HaOr!"

Shido's gauntlet pulsed with pure light, and in an instant, he ford a condensed sphere of holy energy in his right hand.

With a deep exhale, he thrust his palm forward, unleashing the orb in a concentrated surge of divine energy.

Kurumi was caught off guard by his sudden attack and was unable to react in ti. The orb flew forward radiating intense light reaching her position in no ti.

Upon impact, it exploded in a blinding burst, destroying everything in its path. The shockwave of holy light engulfed the area, leaving a sacred glow that lingered in the air long after the blast.

The impact of his attack was devastating, creating a shockwave of holy light that exploded in the midnight air, blinding the sky.

"That's more powerful than I thought."

Shido was stunned at how strong his attack was and began to worry that he might have killed Kurumi.

But when the smoke cleared, Kurumi was gone, only a chilling laugh remained.

"You didn't even hesitate... What a cruel man."

Shido scanned the area. 'She not even hurt.'

"Ah~" Kurumi's voice rang out again, as she appeared behind him, unhard. "You've destroyed one of my clones, Shido-san... That wasn't very kind of you."
