"Ray of Negative Energy!"

"Flow Acceleration!"

Khajit and Clentine was fighting desperately against Shido. But Shido was just toying with them by spamming his territory, repeatedly swapping his place with either one of them.

Because of this Khajit summoned another skeletal dragon, but that made it only worsen the situation. Clentine and Khajit even tried to outsmart Shido by attacking themselves when Shido was about to swap places with them.

However, it was useless as Shido already seen what they would do a few seconds ahead. So instead of injuring Shido when they swap places again, Shido didn't activate his territory making Clentine's and' Khajit's Skeletal Dragon's attack hit themselves.

"Damn it!" Khajit cursed to himself as Clentine's Stilettos pierced his shoulder.

"Hey! Watch where you attack!" Clentine snapped, dodging as the skeletal dragon's claw nearly slamd her into the ground.

Both of them glared at each other but they know that it wasn't each other's fault. They just couldn't predict when or whether Shido would use Territory.

"It should be about ti."

Just as the two of them were scolding each other for their reckless attack, they heard Shido's voice from the side.

Both of them frowned and had a bad feeling when Shido said those words.

"Grega."

Shido raised his hand and pointed at the two skeletal dragons. A small, dark crimson fla flickered to life at the tip of his index finger before he released it toward one of the dragons.

Khajit's eyes widened. He could feel the overwhelming destructive power radiating from that seemingly tiny fla.

"Reinforce Armor! Shield Wall!"

Khajit cast two spells on the skeletal dragons, causing their bodies to glow with layered magical auras.

But the mont the dark crimson fla touched the barriers, they shattered instantly, dispersed like fragile glass.

Once the dark crimson fla bypassed the barriers, it hit the Skeletal Dragon and its body was blasted in bits, making it unable to be unable to heal.

"What?!" Khajit was stunned as he watched his precious skeletal dragon get obliterated. Rage surged through him, he wanted nothing more than to tear Shido apart. But the harsh reality was that he couldn't even lay a finger on him.

Summoning two Skeletal Dragon caused him a great toll and magic so it was a massive loss for him when one of them was destroyed.

However, just as Khajit was lanting of the loss of one of his Skeletal Dragon, Shido fired another dark crimson fla towards the other Skeletal Dragon blasting it to bits just like the first one.

This ti, Khajit didn't even know how to respond. His fury was so overwhelming, so blinding, he felt as though he might pass out from sheer rage.

Clentine on the other hand was also shocked since she didn't think that Shido would be able to destroy the two Skeletal Dragons that Khajit was proud of. He had said that this dragon was completely resistant to magic and magic caster's nightmare.

Yet Shido had reduced them to rubble with a single spell. 'Just how powerful is that small, dark crimson fla?' she wondered, a chill creeping down her spine.

"Damn you! You mongrel! How dare you foil my plans!?"

Khajit was seething, his voice trembling with fury. Years of ticulous preparation, ruined in re monts. All the patience, sacrifice, and effort he had poured into his sches had been reduced to nothing.

Consud by rage, his thoughts spiraled into chaos. He wanted nothing more than to rip Shido apart, but all he could do was tremble, powerless before the one who had shattered everything.

"Acid Javelin!" Khajit had no more mana to supply him creating another Skeletal Dragon so he could on use his spells. But those spell were just tier 2, it was so weak that Shido would think that he was just spitting.

"Noisy." Shido felt his ears hurt when Khajit shouted and rumble. Shido's Elucidator then beca covered with black flas blazing around it. This fla was different from the dark crimson fla earlier. You cannot feel any heat from this fla or destructive energy. However, there was a calm feeling about this black fla that would make one tremble as this fla was used to burn anything to nothingness.

"Just die already. Hell Fla." Shido disappeared from his spot and appeared in front of Khajit.

"Wha-" Before Khajit could even react, the sword with pitch black fla slashed him across his chest before entirely being engulf. Khajit wasn't even able to utter any sound as his body was consud.

When the flas disappeared, there was nothing left on the spot where Khajit was standing, only a churned ground.

"You're next." Shido turned towards Clentine with a smile. But to Clentine, this smile wasn't warm at all, instead it was a smile of a devil.

"I SURRENDER! PLEASE DON'T KILL !"

Clentine imdiately prostrated to the ground while dropping her weapons. She know too well that she couldn't defeat Shido. His strength surpassed her expectations. Whether it was his swordsmanship, his strange ability that could swap position or his frightening flas.

She was not being arrogant or anything, but Clentine's strength had already surpassed adamantite adventurer's strength and enter the realm of the heroes. However, in front of Shido, her pride was destroyed and she was badly beaten by him. In Clentine's mind, Shido might be a mber of the 13 heroes or even if he wasn't one, he had the strength to be at the top.

That's why she surrendered imdiately when she saw Khajit burned into nothingness. Clentine survive Slane Theocracy's onslaught by surrendering and joining Zurrernorn, a death cult and she was also doing the sa in front of Shido's overwhelming power.

"Oh? What could you do for then?" Shido was about to end Clentine when she suddenly surrendered. He raised a brow and was a bit interested in what she wanted to say.

"I... I can be your subordinate, no, your slave. I'll do whatever you want. Gathering information, handling the dirty work... I can be useful to you."

Clentine was afraid and desperate. She still wanted to live and enjoy life and to do that, she had to please Shido.

"Hmm..." Shido didn't say anything as he thought about it. He had no subordinates, and soone with Clentine's skills would be a valuable asset, especially since, with her strength, she'd be nearly invincible to anyone below hero rank, capable of completing tasks with ease.

Seeing Shido, frown without saying anything, Clentine beca nervous. She thought that Shido wasn't satisfied with just that. "I-I could also warm your bed at night." Clentine said with a little nervousness and blush. Truthfully speaking, even though Shido was a bit cruel and doesn't even hold back when fighting won. His was face was handso making him her type. If he wanted to do those kinds of things to her, Clentine would have no choice but to reluctantly agree with Shido.

Shido coughed when he heard Clentine's further words. He was just thinking of arranging things for Clentine once he had gone to the capital but he was dumfounded when he heard her words.

He took a deep breath to calm himself and look at Clentine who were in her knees looking at him with fear, nervousness and bashfulness. He had to admit that Clentine was a very beautiful and seductive woman. She had a slender body, with pale white skin, ample curves, flat abs, and long, seductive legs. Her revealing outfit and the garter belt on her thigh only added to her allure. If she weren't so psychopathic, Shido thought, she'd probably have n flocking to her.

However, Shido should those thoughts away since he wasn't like that. He just wanted to use Clentine to help him complete his quest easily, that's all. Shido didn't thought of doing perverted things to her, please believe him.
