When Shido opened his eyes, all he could see were trees surrounding him on every side. He was in the middle of a dense forest.
"Where is this?" Shido held his head since he still felt a bit dizzy when he was being transported to another world.
He took a few unsteady steps and scanned his surroundings, hoping to spot sothing, anything that could give him a clue about where he had ended up. But there was nothing. Just trees, stretching endlessly in every direction.
With a helpless sigh, Shido lowered his hand and murmured to himself, "Great... just my luck."
However, just as Shido was feeling a bit helpless, the system suddenly echoed in his mind.

At first Shido thought that the system would not be working since there was a system update. But to his surprise, it suddenly rang once again, issuing a barrage of quests all at once.
However, because of the quests, Shido had now an idea on which world he was transported to. But what made Shido feel most speechless was the fact that the last two quest were too hard for him to complete.
"The floor guardian of Nazarick should be the sa level as Tohka and the others. I should be able to take down one of them if it was one on one battle and if I prepared but how was I suppose to conquer an entire Kingdom?" Shido smiled wryly thinking that it would take him at least 6 months to a year to complete all the quests issued by the system.
"At least I can use all my abilities in this world..." Shido muttered with a small smile, comforted by the fact that he no longer had to hide his powers. No one here knew him, and that ant no need to hold back.
"Plus..." His grin widened as he opened the system nu, navigating eagerly to the summoning interface. But the mont the screen loaded, his excitent ca crashing down and he felt depressed.

This prompt appeared when he tried to view the summoning interface. This made Shido smile bitterly and thought that he had to wait for 12 hours before he can use this function. Although he was excited to summon an ani girl, he couldn't do anything for now but to wait.
When Shido checked the other functions of the system, he noticed that while so features were still operational, others, like the summoning function were currently unavailable. The shop and world travel options were also locked due to the system update.
Even so, the fact that most of the system was still working made Shido breathe a sigh of relief. At least he wasn't completely stuck. Shido finally cald down and decided to go out of this forest first.
"...Still, I didn't expect to be transported into Overlord of all worlds." Shido let out a wry smile when he thought about this world. Like the world of Date Alive, this world is also a high level world and maybe a level higher than Date Alive. There are many strange people in this world and their skills and magic is also dangerous so Shido have to be careful when dealing with powerful opponents especially when he encountered a mber of the Great Tomb of Nazarick.
As Shido was wondering inside this large forest trying to find a way out, he suddenly sensed sothing through his observation haki and he let out a excited grin.
"Looks like we have an uninvited visitor." As Shido said that, he took out his Elucidator from his inventory. While it didn't possess any flashy abilities or enchantnts, it was a masterpiece in its own right. As the pinnacle of what a "normal" sword could be, it could easily outperform so B-rank weapons in sheer durability and cutting power.
This was also one of Shido's favorite sword, but because he used this sword previously with the identity of Shadow, he couldn't use this so much in the world of Date Alive.
Now that he could wield it freely, Shido felt his excitent grow even more.
Shido wield Elucidator with his right hand while waiting for the beings speeding towards his direction.
When they finally erged from the trees, Shido blinked in surprise. It was his first ti seeing real monsters up close.
What appeared in front of him were a group of goblins and ogres numbering at least 50 of them. And judging by the tremors in the ground and the rustling of leaves behind them, even more were on the way.
"Well, this escalated quickly," Shido muttered, eyes narrowing as he tightened his grip on the sword. "Still... this might be the perfect warm-up." his smiled widened even more since he could enjoy this fight.
Shido activated his scan skill as those monsters keep appearing.

Shido saw that their levels varies from level 5 to level 10 but he could also saw so monster that was level 15, however, Shido didn't care about them that much since they were all the sa, only waiting to be slaughtered.
The goblins and ogres, unable to wait any longer, charged at him with a loud, savage roar. The goblins, in particular, were quick and agile, their movents more difficult for normal humans to counter. So of them wielded swords and daggers, darting forward to engage Shido in close combat, while others hung back, drawing their bows and letting arrows fly toward him.
But who was Shido? He easily dodged the arrows, weaving between them with barely a glance, before casually swinging Elucidator at the goblins who charged at him.
With a swift, practiced motion, he cleaved through the first goblin that got too close, its lifeless body hitting the ground with a dull thud.
Just as he finished killing the goblin, a sudden ding echoed in his mind. The system rang with a notification.

Shido's eyes widened when he saw his gains when he killed a goblin. Although he had a hunch that he would receive exp and sp when he killed a monster of a person, he didn't expect that he would really receive a soul fragnt.
Although the value was too little, Shido though that it was because the soul of the goblin was too little in quality making it only 1 SF. But instead of feeling disappointed, Shido's grin widened. This was a perfect opportunity. If he could keep grinding monsters for SF, he could speed up the process of gathering more SP and ultimately summon even more ani girls.
anwhile, as he was fighting the goblins, he heard a loud, heavy thud of footsteps. He turned just in ti to see an ogre charging toward him, a massive wooden bat raised high, ready to swing down on him with terrifying force.
Unlike the goblins that were quite fast, Ogre movents were sluggish however, their swing was strong enough to crush the head of level 20 adventurers.
"Hmmp. It's useless." Shido scoffed and continue swinging his sword. Each slash of his sword cleaved through the monsters in his path, sending them to the ground in a spray of blood and bodies.
As he fought, the system notifications flashed constantly in front of his eyes.

"I love fantasy world!" Shido shouted excitedly while rushing towards the group of monsters.
