The woman's bloodied face was continuously struck by Es, who was seated on her knees. "Just die, for God's sake," Es uttered as she relentlessly attacked the woman. The woman lay lifeless on the roof floor, her eyes glazed over. Es felt pain in both of her hands from hitting her with the jade pendant for half an hour.
But, even after being hit for this long, the woman was still not dead.

Suddenly, while Es kept hitting, the jade pendant in her hand started to vibrate intensely with a faint green glow, causing her to halt and look at it for a mont.
'How do I shut it?' Es kept looking blankly towards the pendant, which didn't have any button on it for her to stop it. After hitting the woman with it for quite so ti, she at least knew that this pendant was strong enough to not break easily.

Suddenly, a groan of pain escaped the woman's lips as she neared death, causing her mind to gradually lose the hold of the illusion as it began to fade away.

Another voice brought Es out of her thoughts as she paid attention to the speaker. It was clear that whoever was on the other side was smart enough to guess things, causing her to smile as she further added, "This Aunt of yours is in pieces. Can you tell your address so I could send her?"
"Did you kill Liu Wei?" The voice from the other side coldly inquired, showing dissatisfaction after learning about her aunt's death.
"Hm, your aunt's na is very masculine," Es felt perplexed upon realizing that the woman she had just killed was nad Liu Wei.
"You are playing with fire, you know, right?" Yao Lian stated firmly, her voice tinged with a hint of threat.
"Shouldn't you feel despair then?" As Es neared the edge of the rooftop, she knelt down and settled herself near the corner. Her legs dangled in the cool breeze, causing her white dress to flutter around her and her hair to dance. With her golden eyes, she gazed up at the moon shining in the night sky.
"What?" Yao asked, feeling montarily confused as she spoke with visible confusion in her voice.
"No, it's just—" Before Es could finish speaking, she suddenly felt disoriented by the powerful presence approaching, causing the nearby mana to react vigorously. 'He arrived!'
Without warning, Es had a sudden realization as the arrival of a familiar figure made her snap her fingers.
In an instant, the pendant in her hand vanished, along with the lifeless body of the woman. Everything returned to normal as if nothing had happened, giving Es a chance to regain her composure.
"Hmm, you are late," Es remarked, seated on the highest floor. She looked towards an orange light that suddenly appeared beside her, revealing a man in a black robe. His hands were clean, without any traces of blood from monts before.
"You need to beco stronger, Es," Ryuk said as he moved closer, his eyes fixed on the white dress she wore and her hair flowing in the cold breeze under the moonlight.

His eyes followed Es, who flinched and averted her gaze due to embarrassnt over showing him such a side. He added, "Are you fine?"
"Huh?" Es, who was prepared to receive so reprimand from him, suddenly t his gaze. Understanding his genuine concern for her well-being, she whispered, "Yes, I am fine."
'Where is the weapon?' Analyzing the place and knowing about Es's strength, Ryuk was at least aware that she must have needed so weapon or hard object to hit the woman's face, which he found nowhere as he looked towards the floor.
"How did you kill her?" He asked Es directly instead of moving all around the roof to dispel her illusion.
"Oh, that's, I used this," Es felt relieved that he seed composed and careful instead of ntioning anything about her mistake. His silence conveyed his concern for her well-being, prompting her to dispel her illusion as she raised her hand, revealing the Round Jade Pendant materializing.
