I took a few steps back to stabilize myself. Then, I thrust the spear forward, and then let it glide to the side, following wherever the man was running off to. He blocked the spear with his blade, and I took this as an opportunity to move forward.
"You forget that there are seven of us." a voice ca from behind my back. As I was taking care of this one man, I forgot about the rest. I was too concentrated on what had happened in front of . I ducked, feeling that there was sothing that was going to hit on the head. I was right. Above , I could hear a gigantic whoosh. If that had hit , then I would probably land in a coma. Each and every one of the attacks that these n made also had Qi laced within them, and that made these attacks painful and stronger than they were supposed to be.
I planted the spear's tail on the ground and used it as a pole to turn around quickly. I was surrounded. And this ti, I had nowhere to just jump. I had to fight against all of them at once. I had to split my mind and pay equal attention to all of them. I had no choice. If they were not going to show any rcy, I was not going to show any either. Any hesitation that might have been there in disappeared.
I gripped my spear, and the intuitive motion of the Heaven Devouring art ca into play. All the attacks of the enemy could be evaded as long as I knew where they were coming from. My mind no longer did the work. My body knew what to do to avoid any harm.
I moved to the side, gracefully blocking and redirecting attacks. The Blue Dragon spear art was not that intuitive, but I knew what I had to do. I used the spear and started the third form of the art. This was the best that I could do without the shadow. I only learnt till the third form, and any other would need more practise.

It must have been the hamr that hit the first ti, because it felt so similar to . I gnashed my teeth. I could bear the pain, but before I could turn around and see what had happened, soone kicked again. I tumbled forward. I could not stabilize my footing, and I fell.
"Number 256 is eliminated." a cold voice said out loud. I looked at them all with shock. This was not the outco that I had expected.
"You are still a kid. You need more experience to match us. It was a good fight, but you need to battle more if you want to match all of us. I admit that you are more talented, and probably have a better cultivation than we do. You have the better skills, but you have never used them in battle. That is what you did wrong. You never battled before." the middle aged man said as he turned around, facing everyone that he was in cahoots with before.
I looked down with sha. I could not believe that I lost. I thought that with the system, and the overpowered skills that I got, I would win every battle that I faced in this life. I was wrong. I grew complacent and arrogant. I needed to go back and practice so more. It was ti for to set things right again. I needed to beco the strongest, and I needed to put more work into this. I needed to clear this world, and I needed to do it right.
