That said, maids might really have many unspoken rules I don't know about.
Because I do indeed have quite a few absurd skills.
For instance, I have a skill called "Fla of Pregnancy," which is incomprehensible from both its na and effect. Its function is that when activated, I beco as fertile as a sow.
I'm actually being compared to a sow, and the skill description's "high fertility"... does it an that kind of fertility?
Then there's another bluntly nad skill: Contraception Magic.
I don't think this needs much explanation. Apparently, this thing's rarity is on par with supre-level magic like Spatial Transfer and Ti Stop.
The skill description reads "Please dye my entire body in master's color ❤," which is just ridiculous.
But I absolutely won't acknowledge any of this.
I spent about half an hour righteously correcting Sigrdrífa's misconceptions about maid duties. Since her understanding ca from a passing adventurer (player), I couldn't help but recall Hohenhiem's warning again.
Really, the emphasis in "maid" should be on the "servant" part! At this rate, when will I ever find a master willing to take in?
Sigrdrífa stored the [Unicorn Crystal Shoes] in her inventory, but still seed uneasy and asked once more.
"You're really giving this to ?"
"...I don't wear high heels anyway. So, what do you plan to do from now on?"
"Continue collecting sacred beast remains, of course. Look, didn't I just collect the first one? The nature goddess must be watching over ."
I think if the nature goddess truly watched over Sigrdrífa, she wouldn't have let her spend an entire night in turtle shell bondage. Maybe the nature goddess is just ssing with Sigrdrífa.
But I won't voice such mood-killing thoughts. Having faith isn't so bad, is it?
"By the way, I still don't know your na."
"Anastasia. You can call Anna."
"Anastasia..."
Sigrdrífa murmured the na once, then suddenly hugged herself and backed away in terror.
"So you're the evil god that organization worships?!"
"I'm not an evil god!"
"Damn, I was careless. They say that regardless of age or race, won lose their purity just from being looked at by mbers of that organization... I must have already...!"
"Nothing like that happened!"
Even thinking with my knees, I know that's impossible. I can't let Anna's Support Group continue dragging down my reputation.
Sigrdrífa chanically put on her clothes with vacant eyes, only regaining her spark after she was fully dressed.
"Huh? My clothes..."
"I patched the holes in them."
Since I was bored and it bothered to see durability not at maximum, I fixed Sigrdrífa's equipnt while I was at it.
"Uh, I don't have any savings to repay you with."
Just changing your twisted impression of Anna's Support Group would be a huge help. Speaking of which, is my [Reputation] in other places already damaged to negative values?
But before I could speak, Sigrdrífa suddenly thought of sothing and clapped her hands.
"Right! I have so advice—how about that as repaynt?"
"Advice?"
"Yes, about the girl with you."
"You an Lily?"
Sigrdrífa hadn't spoken with Lily, so why would she have advice about her?
"I heard that girl... Lily say she can't see with one eye."
"Yes."
"But from my observation, your [dicine] level is very high. Don't you know? Blindness isn't an incurable injury."
In the real world, blindness can be restored through procedures like corneal surgery, let alone in a fantasy world where even broken legs can heal completely. When [dicine] reaches a certain level, blindness can also be healed through magic-assisted treatnt.
Sigrdrífa's observation left silent.
I finally understood why Sigrdrífa had exposed her presence. She was surprised—surprised that I, who she thought could cure Lily's eyes, couldn't restore Lily's sight. Initially, Sigrdrífa thought I had healed Lily and that her condition was just rare heterochromia, but discovering otherwise caused her to reveal herself.
I hadn't failed to notice Lily's eye problem.
Lily's eyes fall under [Irreparable Trauma].
Though unreasonable, there are officially designated incurable conditions in this world that cannot be completely healed.
When this chanism triggers, even the [dicine] skill won't respond. In other words, when I use dical skills to heal wounds on Lily's body, her eyes aren't even subject to [dicine] skill assessnt. So I could only confirm through verbal inquiry whether Lily's lightless eyes were truly blind.
The answer was affirmative.
"If you're determined to cure Lily's eyes, consider going to Midgard's Holy Spring. I don't recomnd seeking out the church's divine magic—if she represents that worst-case scenario, you won't have the power to protect her."
The Holy Spring, located within Midgard's borders, is supposedly a sacred fountain capable of healing all diseases. So conditions that [dicine] skills can't cure can be healed by the Holy Spring. But the elven race doesn't welco outsiders, much less provide access to the Holy Spring, leading to nurous conflicts.
Divine magic is similar—only high-ranking human church officials can use this magic that eradicates evil and impurity.
There's only one exception where both are powerless, yet neither would ignore it. Especially the church—without powerful protection, they would certainly eliminate the threat.
That's exactly the worst-case scenario Sigrdrífa ntioned.
I nodded silently, while also realizing... I had been avoiding that hypothesis all along.
