Linda was unlucky to have landed against the thorn-branched part of a tree. It opened a serious gushing wound in her skin, causing the excessive flow of blood.
"If this continues, she would give out," I said to Muna. "If we can find a way to wake her, maybe she would be able to reconstruct her blood back into her mbrane since it carries healing power and clot her wound."
Muna only gave a muffled ’hmm’ to my suggestion and began to pour out her energy into Linda.
If injecting energy into Linda was going to revive her, then I should join.
But I can actually revive her without expending the energy I don’t have.
’System, is there a way to share titles?’
«↓ Yes ↑»
« Note that you can only share the title of a Harem mber whose Harem Sharing Ability has reached or surpassed 80% »
’No, I an, can I share my own titles?’
«↓ No ↑»
My jaw dropped, seeing that what I was speculating wasn’t going to be possible.
I glanced at Muna, who continually injected mana energy into Linda, so focused that she didn’t care if I was going to offer a helping hand or not.
’She does have so conscience pertaining to Linda’s well-being.’
« Mobix... »
The system roared back to life with a chi in my head.
« While you cannot share your title, you can activate them and make use of them for the purpose you bear »
Activating my "title" ant exuding a "presence".
And exuding a "presence" ant extinguishing an "aura".
In the whole of Montana, no mage is expected to possess the title I’m about to activate, since I was the only one who defied the cosmic laws of life by reincarnating into my current body... and literally resurrecting from the dead.
Muna would surely notice my presence, but I don’t think she would identify what title I had used since it’s yet to be known.
There was no ti to think out such palaver. Ti was against us, and Muna was now barely able to keep up with regulating Linda’s breathing through her Mana injection.
As far as Linda was yet to et her lifespan limit, she must fulfill the normalcy.
With this resolve, I activated my most usable title in this situation.
’Activate my first title, The New Being.’.

Ignoring the last notification from the system, I let my body get drenched in the activation process of my title.
My instincts flared, screaming at to save Linda at that mont.
At that point, I felt strong pulls around . The air around wavered fiercely, as though my body’s presence was distorting with the natural flow of ti.
A faint shimr, a color ford from the mixture of light and shadow, could be seen around my body, sparkling for a mont before it flared.
My gaze beca sowhat heavy, as if it carried a weight that had seen things beyond my imagination.
This title I have earned from a successful reincarnation was just a power that existed for its cause... it was the sheer combination of various cycles hamred into experience.
I possessed a power that could defeat the last cycle — death.
Concentrating on the stirring energy within my Mana Core, I controlled its flow to begin to rise out of my body.
My hands positioned themselves, face-pald to my beneficiary.
My eyes locked onto her still body with primal content.
Recognizing the current presence I possessed was of ultimate strength and effect, Muna withdrew her consistency, and coughed out blood — a backlash from the excessive use of her Mana energy.
Disorienting my thoughts from her, I focused on my purpose.
Right now, my body was covered in the mantle of the New Being. As if forced, the energy that was rising from my core flushed out through my hands and maintained consistency, adsorbing into Linda.
Instead of the supposed blue or relative color a Seafrost Mana power should have, mine carried the mixed color of my presence. But it was fulfilling its purpose.
Linda’s body rose from the ground, her blood, which tangled with the floor, followed suit, seeping into her injured opening.
For a while, it seed her body was undergoing reconstruction as her injury clotted imdiately to bare that part of her skin.
My Mana energy, which had ford into the sparkling ring carrying Linda in the air, rotated around its axis five consecutive tis before it stopped, and gradually began to dwindle off.
As soon as it finally diminished, the mantle of the title that had enveloped disappeared, and Linda began a steady descent.
My instincts flared, and I rushed out, collecting her in my arms in the last minute before her final fall, when she let out brittle coughs.
*Kuff, Kuff*
Slowly, Linda flickered her eyes and saw that she was in my safe arms. Imdiately, she jolted up with a surprising strength not expected of soone who was very close to her death.
Her reaction imparted a smile on Muna’s face and caused to chuckle.
’Such brevity.’
"Linda, I think you should find yourself a secluded area and cultivate your healing power so as to completely regain full strength," Muna suggested.
"Muna’s right."
anwhile, the system identifier seed not to have relented with its threat detection.

While I was busy, determined to make sure Linda didn’t fall into the cold hands of death, all our activities were being monitored.
Looking around the environs of this part of the Spatial tear we were in, I felt so condescending presence.
"Muna, the wolves—"
Not letting through with my words, she threw three thin, shiny crystals at my body.
"The demon cores," she muttered. "I collected them for you while you healed your shadow girl."
Yes. Demons were sub-classified and ranked in strength by stars. These stars were just a passive representation of the number of cores a demon has been able to cultivate and accumulate.
For a "Normal" demon, their cores were thin. A "Prospective" demon had small cores, a "Potential" had large cores and the "Titans" had extra-large cores in sizes.
The three thin demon cores were because Mobix killed a 3-Star Normal demon. And the demon cores, no matter the size, were of paramount importance since they assisted a mage in refining their ridian core and strengthening it.
"I don’t an the cores... the wolves are—"
Muna interrupted again.
"I will donate one demon core so you can use it to cultivate," she said sporadically, throwing a thin core to Linda. "...only because you showed your worth when we were hit by that massive log."
"Muna, can you listen now. More wolves are lurking," I finally announced, igniting the battle maniac in her.
Her eyes flared as she turned to make her move when I drew her back.
Under my instruction, we were able to combine energies together to create a strong barrier of sea-blue color around Linda, who sat cross-legged, ready to begin refining her power.
Once the barrier was set, Muna rushed out to the bodies of the dead wolves.
I, however, returned to Linda, and threw two thin cores into her barrier.
"Stay safe," I encouraged, and turned to leave.
Behold, the lurking threats had decided to show themselves. They had decided to eradicate their pathetic presence and co into view.
But, they didn’t entirely show their whole body. It started with revealing bright, red pairs of eyes, staring from the dark. There were too many.
As if not convinced that the barrier set for Linda would keep her safer, I injected more energy into it until I got the system warning..
«↓ Critical Mana Usage Alert ↑»
« Drastic Reduction of Mana Points: 9/100 »
I stopped at this point, not knowing if it was out of conviction that the barrier was stronger now, or that my Mana would soon run out.
Well, it only ant one thing.
For to survive the battle forward, I need not depend on my power but on sword skills, which I currently don’t possess.
It was finally ti to awaken the unique power of the Sea Sword and bear whatever backlash it could unleash for premature usage, if there was any.
Venturing forward to et Muna, I beca her fifth companion.
She had already awakened echoes from the three wolves that were killed earlier, together with her lion.
’How can I forget I still possess the power of Water Echo?’ I thought. But making use of it still required so mana to be extinguished.
’I will just have to focus on making use of the Sea Sword.’
