"SPLOOSH!" Beauregard lobbed a castle-sized sphere of roiling water across the sky towards the mainland. The ball flew far, far away, probably to impact like a teorite in so town or city in the Malecise Regi.

Her swirling vortex of a lower body changed course and started heading back towards the coast she had drifted further and further way from.

Frost blinked in front of Beauregard’s gaze and-

"Mmngh, Forallei is going to reprimand for taking so long," the sli-girl whimpered and a tornado of ocean-blue water spiralled around the blue ball of ice and sucked it downwards in the air.

The in comparison little blinking ice ball tried with all its might to blink upwards, but it seed even the air was fighting against it.

Soon, Frost was sucked in alongside Jotou into the whirlpool that Beauregard summoned in front of her. Frost’s spell ca undone and the armoured figure was taken by the current and hurled out of the whirlpool.

Jotou held her breath and sparked, but then she was rocketed out by the raging currents and soared into the sky past Beauregard’s head.

Their flights were due to Frost’s opposite montum. The armoured figure herself blinked before she was flung too far, but she reappeared only slightly higher up, in a position she was not intending to go to.

Beauregard looked to the whirlpool a bit confused and narrowed her eyes before she had to forcefully stop the current, but her prey had already escaped.

The rings of water far and wide that encircled her massive form slowed down, although they remained stable while the reverse-rain drizzled into them.

"Kickbolt!" Jotou casted in vain as the force of her lightning-charged kick barely thrusted her in any direction or even halted her speed.

"Shoulder-Charge!" yellow electricity fizzled around her shoulder while she reached the end of her ascent and was now at the whims of gravity; she moved maybe a centitre, but that might have just been her previous trajectory.

Behind her, Beauregard was drifting towards the Malecise Regi once more. Warships at the dock were deployed far left and far right of her advance, but navigating through the barricades of shipwrecks was going to be difficult and even then what exactly were they going to do? Fire off more cannons?

Jotou’s form could not spark much at all, which only made the air blast past her eyes and ears at a blinding and deafening rate. Physics began to rein in the realms of magic as Jotou plumted towards the sea’s turbulent surface.

Every second that Beauregard got further from her and she fell further away, more sparks covered her form. Tears flew past her eyes as she was able to finally see through arcs of lightning and had to quickly put her sword forward and straighten out her body.

"PLOSH!" Like an arrow she pierced through the surface tension and was drove under a crashing wave. Her entire body sparked as she began to thrash her arms and legs out.

Her panic did nothing to quell the water as she was left to the sea’s rcy. She only saw water bubbling and boiling in front of her while she sank deeper...

She could hyperventilate; fresh pungent air filled her lungs. ’Get it together!’ She blew air and attempted to calm her manic breaths.

Her heartrate did not calm, but she could at least look around her. Deeper into the water she sank; she took better control of her spark spell so that it was not directly over her vision.

Visibility was bad; no life was swirling around her for they would have already been propelled by the waves if they did not already flee from Beauregard’s approach.

The seabed was not beneath her; her yellow glow was entering darkness, further away from the surface. However, she was not drowning; that was good news, right?

Jotou gulped and started to breathe deeply. "This is... surprisingly calm," her words ca out fizzled by her electricity. The sea pushed her left and right, but the deeper she went it was more of a sway rather than a thrust.

She floated her arms in front of her and watched it bubble the water. She sheathed her sword and flapped her arms down, however her motion seed to push them back up.

Her brows knitted together as she felt the odd buoyancy of her electricity against the water. Should she have been sinking faster? Experintally, she reached her hand out, "Zap."

A little fizzle of electricity shot out and bubbled the seawater. It pushed her hand back as she felt the recoil all the way up to her shoulder.

She reached her other hand out and zapped from both hands in the sa direction. Bubbles roiled and sent her upper half floating backwards till Jotou rotated in the water.

Her arms flailed pathetically as she casted more tis to not be upside down anymore. She wobbled in the water and glanced around; she was definitely deeper than before.

Jotou kicked her foot to one side and casted again; she was pushed away from the direction. She mimicked a swimming squid as she casted zap from every limb; she was driven upwards by bubbles and steam.

"Huh. Would you look at that; I can do better than swim," she uttered. Her eyes darted up to the surface and tried to discern where the most water was thrashing. She whirled herself around to face the bottom of the ocean and bubbled herself downwards.

anwhile on the surface, Frost blinked away from Beauregard and ford an ice plate to land on. She watched Beauregard storm ahead towards the regi; her helted head swivelled left and right, scanning the seawater for any sign of life.

"FffffffFFFTSHHH!"

Near the whirlpool that was Beauregard’s lower half, a blonde encased in lightning blasted into the air like a torpedo. Jotou rocketed into the whirlpool and was taken by the swirling current.

Following the path, Jotou zapped herself out and propelled herself higher through the waves. Beauregard watched the leaping dolphin of a blonde making her way up her torso and jetted up geysers.

Jotou nearly let out a full-blown laugh as she swivelled into the waters that shot her further up. The absence of control she previously had in the waves was overtaken by a steadfast jolt of lightning that defied the sea’s wrath itself.

The blonde bolted out the top of the geyser’s height and tilted her head to smirk at Beauregard. "What is it going to take!? I am not having fun with you anymore! Die! Die! Die!" the bubbly voice cried out in desperation.

’Less mana for .’ "Rejuvenate!" Jotou sent a jolt of electricity down her left palm and she felt the regeneration of her mana to quicken as she began to fall towards Beauregard’s head with her left leg bent back.

"Kickbolt!" her left leg zipped Jotou’s entire form around to give her the montum to- ’Less mana for you!’ "Thundering Strike!"

Jotou launched a powered kick into the side of Beauregard’s enormous head and a flashing web of bright yellow lightning shot through Beauregard’s eyes and flashed across the coast of the Malecise Regi.

"B-B-BL-BLASTTT!!!!!!"

Her expression was gone in an instant as a booming thunder rippled through her sli and caved her head in. Blobs of sli went flying into the sea as the majority of Beauregard’s head was in the shape of a thin crescent moon.

As Jotou fell backwards, the sli-girl’s head slopped limply into the crater of her neck. "Fwoosh!" Grabbing Jotou out of the air like a falling princess, Frost blinked away towards the sea, where she landed onto a pavent of shipwrecks.

The outermost rings of water that circled Beauregard beca thinner till they no longer stread towards her. The gravity-defying rain nearby the sli-woman’s vicinity began to slow.

Jotou got off and glanced over at her work from behind, "Not bad."

"Nice job, the mana’s getting sparse..."

"That’s the plan," Jotou relayed. "Look at her, she still hasn’t gotten her head back." A bulbous sphere of sli was starting to reshape.

"You do realize that makes us less effective too right?"

"Not . I can suck the mana dry first," Jotou sparked up her hand. "Told you Rejuvenate’s a good plan~ The world prioritizes ~" she giggled.

"..." If a helt could glaze its eyes over... "How are those acid burns coming along?" she taunted.

"Oh yeah," Jotou checked to realize they had been cauterized unintentionally. "I hope it’s not too late and Aru can still heal these..."

"We keep moving back to get so magic, but if the sli catches onto our ploy and decides to move and not be in the sa general vicinity anymore."

"Then her affinity’ll give out in ti. She’s already cracking." Jotou’s eyes sparked, "Co on Frost, one last push. Let’s put a god in her place and we’ll never have to see each other ever again."

Frost pivoted her prongs around idly, "How tempting~"
