Chapter 840: Chapter 840: The Star That Should Not Be...
"PLEASE!" The Primordial Cheetah shouted telepathically.
With how fast he was moving, he had already run out of the Outer Hole Galaxy and was far away from the sea of stars.
Still, the King of Kings was relentless. The thousands of clones did not stop chasing; they were adamant, and their killing intent only grew with every mont they continued this pursuit.
It was rather annoying.
The Law of Speed was what allowed the Primordial Cheetah to easily assassinate Ruda and constantly evade his retribution until now.
If not that Kael had the Law of Speed too, then it would be very hard if not impossible to catch the Primordial Cheetah.
Thankfully, Kael had other powers to support this speed of his.
"Co here!"
Space twisted as a literal gas planet appeared out of nowhere behind the Primordial Cheetah.
All the coolness and pride the Primordial Cheetah once had had been washed away by fear.
Hearing the sound of winds blowing and storms brewing frightened the Primordial Cheetah so much that he actually started crying.
Although his face was focused and stiff, real tears mixed with his black tearmarks.
His black spots suddenly burst into bright white dots, releasing the manifested Essence of the Law of Speed.
He let out a final burst and wanted to escape the crushing gravitational pull of the gas planet chasing him.
But was it that easy?
Would Kael just let him go after he already knew that the Primordial Cheetah was capable of multiple speed bursts?
Absolutely not.
Space twisted again, a few hundred tis.
Hundreds of gas giants, each hundreds of tis the diater of Planet Earth, appeared around the Primordial Cheetah.
All these wouldn’t have been able to stop the Primordial Cheetah on their own. There were still massive gaps in between each Gas Planet that the Primordial Cheetah could take advantage of to escape.
Even if they could teleport, he could still keep on running.
The problem was that the appearance of all these large empyrean objects caused him to be startled. Even if it was for a very brief mont, he had to change direction slightly and still plan the best route to use to escape.
This would not have been an issue if it were just these gas planets chasing him.
But these gas planets were rely a part of a much larger hunting force.
In that very split mont, one of the clones, clad in his golden armour, let go of his swords and burst into a stream of power that raced toward the Primordial Cheetah.
This clone had to burn up all its energy at once to catch up and appear directly behind the Primordial Cheetah.
Like a ghost in the night, Kael’s clone gazed coldly at the white-spotted cheetah and instantly took action.
He grabbed the Primordial Cheetah, wrapping his two arms around the body of the cheetah and holding tight.
The Primordial Cheetah scread, feeling the sharp armour spikes piercing into his flesh and scraping against his bones and lungs.
At the sa ti, the clone that held him tight was starting to crumble from within. It had destroyed itself just to achieve that super burst of speed and now had two seconds until it was completely non-existent.
For the greater vengeance, two seconds was more than enough.
In that mont, all the gas planets that had been chasing after the Primordial Cheetah converged.
One thing to know was that natural gas planets were just stars that failed to beco...stars.
They lacked the sufficient mass and density to collapse on themselves and activate the chain of nuclear reactions that made stars the burning giants that they were.
If all these Kaels used the power of the Air Lionheart and added a little bit of power from the Law of Gravity, they could create gas planets with themselves as the core.
Just as they had all done to expand their reach and increase their speed.
But, what would happen when all of them, hundreds of them, close to a thousand, suddenly converged?
The result was apocalyptic, it was reckless, it was the most outrageous way anyone could have co up with to kill a single enemy.
But they did.
Like a team of rugby players, they dogpiled on the Primordial Cheetah.
The Primordial Cheetah scread in horror. He had enough knowledge to know that he definitely should not be at the center of what was to co.
But he couldn’t escape; the suicidal clone still held him in place.
The gas planets all fused, and the Primordial Cheetah was made the center of this monstrosity.
And then...
A star so bright that it blinded every light-sensitive creature looking at the sky in the surrounding galactic cluster.
A star so bright it made the void turn white.
So bright that the speed of light was broken because of the unnatural radiance.
This was not just the creation of an average star, it was a star fueled by the power of cold rage and a Singularity’s Essence.
All the gases, under the full power of the Law of Gravity, Law of Speed, Gas Laws, and the Alphaverse-supported Law of Conquering, combined to form an absolute monstrosity of a star.
This star was so grand that creatures could hear hymns and songs being sung a few seconds after its birth.
Those so-called hymns were not so kind of holy heavenly choir. It was the agonizing wails of drifting souls as they were burnt and crushed to nothingness.
That they sounded so pleasant was a coincidence as they just hid the destructiveness of what Kael had just done.
An anomaly was born on the quest for vengeance.
A star that should not be.
An object that should not exist.
Because its existence was backed by another little universe. Its existence was supported by the Alphaverse.
It was a foreigner.
*SCREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!*
The void started screaming again..
Not as loud as it used to be, but this one was very evident.
Back in the Outer Hole Galaxy, Seth stumbled on the surface of a drifting damaged arkship.
He looked up, seeing the sky get lit up with the light of a newborn star.
It was beautiful, it was deadly.
It made him understand that this battle was over even before it started.
The All-King had sothing that others did not have.
Commitnt.
He was committed to doing what he wanted to do no matter what.
If the All-King said he was going to kill the Primordial Cheetah today, then he was going to do it.
Not just because he had planned ahead and knew that no one could stop him, but because even if soone tried to stop him, he would just tear them apart.
If the lions were a race of tantrum throwers, Kael was the biggest and most spoiled one among them.
He was like those children who just couldn’t bring themselves to accept No for an answer.
The type of child to ruin the ga for everyone just because he couldn’t win.
If he couldn’t get what he wanted, no one would.
Even if it ant he had to burn everything down to the ground, even if it ant he had to rip the fabric of reality piece by piece, even if it ant he had to storm the court of reincarnation, even if it ant he had to break in to the most protected heaven and break thousands of immortals out, even if it ant he had to wage war against every atom in existence.
Kael did not care.
The All-King was infuriatingly dominant.
His majesty will NOT be defied.
Seth, after having a planet dropped on his head, has co to understand that he did not just have this sa level of commitnt to his goals.
It was an eye-opener, and it was depressing. It was a cause for anger but also a reason for him to make a snappy decision.
"Retreat..." Seth sighed and muttered telepathically.
His fallen voice echoed in the communication channels of the feline army.
Suddenly, all the clones that Seth had let out were recalled. It wasn’t that they couldn’t continue fighting back, they just had to.
He was not fighting for himself alone after all, he still had to act as a steward to the surviving feline civilization alliance.
There was no point in fighting Kael. He would rather everyone died than he alone lost.
Perhaps, if it were just the two of them and nothing else on the line, Seth was ready to keep on fighting to prove a point.
With their current forces, it was not worth it.
How many losses will they need to endure? The main force from Original Heaven was still on their way so Seth knew this would not be the last ti he and Kael clashed.
Besides, he still had that thing that was waiting for him at the Outerverse...
In accordance with his command, the various surviving arkships and arkworlds started retreating, making their way out of the Outer Hole Galaxy.
With his white trench coat having little red dots, he took one last look at all the clones who had suddenly stopped fighting and just stared.
A faint beastly roar could still be heard in the soul river.
One beast, just one person, had beaten them so bad that they had to retreat and assess whether it was worth it.
And this wasn’t even the original Kael, all they had fought were his clones who no matter how powerful they were, would never be as strong as the real one.
anwhile, that newborn star was about to cause a very serious commotion. A new star had been created, and the Law of Origin had not been involved in this process.
