Chapter 827: Chapter 827: Primordial Dog

Blues opened fire in front of Kael, All the bullets burst out of the barrel and headed straight for Kael’s face.

And then, Blues blinked.

The next thing he knew, Kael was standing in front of him and his gun was missing.

The bullets that had been shot out were also missing.

An invasion force ca upon Blues and held him down. Kael looked rather bored with all that was happening.

He didn’t have ti to indulge them in this weak fight, he wanted results.

"Your na is Blues," Kael stated, his eyes flashing with the grey light of the spirit energy.

He had read the mind of Blues and instantly understood all he needed to know.

Blues was surprised at first but then he frowned. He had seen others awakened with the sa power to read minds and tell people things that no one else knew.

He was not surprised, but he was alert.

But even if he was alert, he ca to realise that nothing could happen. He was blinded by an invisible force and Kael was looking directly at him as if studying him carefully, the sa way a scientist studied a live specin.

"Oh, so you’re a dog?" Kael asked, raising his eyebrow.

He didn’t expect to et the Primordial Dog so soon. He rembered correctly that the Dogs were one of the races related to the Law of Loyalty.

"That’s nice..." Kael was simply thinking out loud.

That should be why Blues was willing to pull a gun at him and still fire despite sensing the overwhelming level of oppression that was coming from Kael.

He was simply under the effect.

Kael waited, he had the patience for now. He stood still for a few minutes and Blues had nowhere to go so he also stood there for a few minutes, staring at Kael but instinctively avoiding his eyes.

"Faithful dog of Boss Rude," Kael said casually once again.

"What do you want?" Blues asked, unwilling to back down.

"She didn’t tell you about my coming?" Kael asked and answered his question at the sa ti.

"Tell

what? Please, who are you?" Blues asked.

The difference between their accents was quite fascinating. Blues talked a little faster than Kael, as did most inhabitants of Landan.

Kael on the other hand was talking in a generally calm manner and was fleshing out his words before they ca out. That way, even if he was speaking another language, he was talking in a way that everyone would understand.

Another burst of spirit energy from Kael behind him and Teez who had collapsed on the floor suddenly shot up from the ground, clearly alert.

He didn’t know how he had just fallen unconscious but now his mind was much calr.

He looked at the powerful back of the golden-haired man who was in front of Blues now and thought back to all Rudy had told him.

"Are you the All-King man?" Teez asked, getting up from the ground and waiting for Kael’s answer with white electricity crackling around the edges of his eyes.

He knew that he may not be able to defeat this man but he would at least try to reason with him however he could.

Now that Kael was backing Teez, Teez could clearly see the lion’s tail and the two ears perched on Kael’s head.

Just as Rudy had described.

"I am," Kael said, "What did she tell you about ?" He asked.

Blues was very confused, how did Teez know about this person and who was the All-King?

Neither of them knew that Kael was simply being lenient with them because he was interested in them.

Teez took his hand off the gun hidden in his hoodie and stood straight. This was the person his boss had told him about, the All-King, the source of their powers.

To be honest, Teez had expected so kind of grand entrance with a lot of flashing lights and grandiose scenes.

He expected a trumpet and an apocalyptic occurrence.

Compared to his expectations, Kael was a bit...dull.

"She said that she would be undergoing so kind of evolution and that during that ti, you would co to get her.

She also said that you would take us lions away to the promised world..."

"Promised world?" Kael asked as he stood between Blues and Teez.

Teez swallowed. The atmosphere beca extrely heavy at that mont.

"Yes," Teez nodded, sweat was sohow sliding down his forehead even though the temperature was quite low.

"She said that you will find this place to be of value and take us lions with you to participate in the grand sche of the cosmos...

She said the promised land was where our lion race resided and that I should prepare others like

for your coming," Teez added.

"I don’t rember promising you anything," Kael stated and the whole building instantly went cold.

Teez gulped.

Blues was still unable to move.

"But I understand," Kael said. He was seen as so kind of saviour for these Awakened.

Ruda had been preaching about the end of the world and she knew that if Kael ca, this world would never know peace again.

She had guessed right in knowing that Kael would be interested in taking so of these lions back with him to Leonine Heaven.

But she didn’t know that there were primordials on this planet at all. She didn’t even suspect that Blues was a Primordial at all, she just assud he was a dog with super strength or sothing.

"There will be a slight change of plans, I shall be taking over from now on!" Kael said and snapped his fingers.

Instantly, all three of them were outside the building, leaving Ruda inside all alone. She was not unprotected though as Kael encased the whole building in a layer of power from the Laws of Camouflage and Armour.

"The fuck?!" Teez crouched over and started vomiting. Teleportation was not easy on the minds of such fragile beings.

Blues would have thrown up as well but he was still held down by the invisible force.

Blues was also wondering when Ruda had told Teez about all these things as she did not tell him.

Blues had suspected that there was so kind of hierarchy in the way these superpowers were awakened. He did notice that so of the awakened were more dominant than the rest and those ones tended to talk with Teez and Ruda a lot.

Blues had just assud that it was nothing, after all, he was already part of the inner circle and was responsible for recruitnt.

He never knew that there was an inner circle within his inner circle.

Kael didn’t care, he began to speak.

"Teez, you’re going to take over in the anti and your job is two-fold.

First, you must find the lions that have been awakened in their human forms and assemble them.

Together, you all must form a coalition and declare yourselves kings. From then on, you shall begin to pick your vassals.

Pick as many as you want but I suggest they at least have so level of strength and obedience to their perks.

You have one week, this planet will be useless to

by then.

Once the week is over, I shall reclaim the kings and their vassals, what happens beyond that may not be good."

Kael decided that he would take the lions back with him. Besides, a little more didn’t hurt.

Once their Devolution Seeds were removed, they would at least be at tier 3 and so of them may be higher than that.

Also, one week was the ti it would take for Ruda to complete her Avatar Evolution.

Teez, after recovering from the teleportation daze, took in a deep breath and stood straight.

"I’ll see to it, yeah," He said, "But what’s going to happen to the rest of the world then? I thought we wanted to rule the world and stuff?"

He tried to sound polite, he really did.

Kael didn’t mind, he was ready for the lad’s surface thoughts before words even ca out of his mouth so he understood the intention.

"A lion clan will take responsibility for it, they shall harvest, and if they wish, they shall release the inhabitants of this world of their human body prisons," Kael said, just because he wanted less friction.

He was being rather calm and easy-going and Teez didn’t know this. Maybe it was because Landan felt like a familiar city in an unfamiliar world. Kael was willing to interact before destroying.

"Oh," Teez didn’t understand it completely but he got the gist. In short, Planet Gadi was dood.

Kael already had planet Kareem where he could do social experints, he wasn’t too crazy about another one for now as it wasn’t a really important thing in the first place.

After clearing Teez and giving him a mission through the suppressed system, the All-King looked at Blues.

"As for you..." Kael muttered, thinking of how he would round up all those Primordials and rip a lot of benefits from them.

He snapped his fingers, after which both he and Blues disappeared, leaving Teez alone on the street under the darkening sky.

"Damn..." It wasn’t until Kael left that Teez realised he had been enduring a lot of psychological pressure.
