Chapter 819: Chapter 819: Crown Of Defiant Ancestors
When Kael squeezed her butt cheek, N’bayé flinched. The warmth of Kael’s hand over her ass with the fabric of her robe being the only barrier between them was so sensual.
They were so close to doing it right now, yet so far.
The urge to take off their clothes, rush into the Apex Pyramid was there, but now was not the right ti.
"Evolution..." Kael said into N’bayé’s ear.
N’bayé pulled herself away from Kael’s embrace as he relaxed his arms and let her go.
"The others are already evolving, can’t you feel it?" Kael added, referring to the other consorts wherever they were.
N’bayé nodded, "I was about to go before you guys ca. I guess you weren’t supposed to et
then."
Kael shook his head, "Not really, but everything works out for us," He said.
"I see you made a lot of friends," N’bayé said as the edges of her lips curved up slightly. She looked over Kael’s shoulder barely to see the vast amount of dots that still sward the distant golden sky.
Right now, multiple lions that were still in Leonine Heaven had already arrived there and had started interacting with the lions from Original Heaven.
A lot of bullying was definitely going to start happening very soon. The lions did not have double standards when it ca to bullying after all. They would bully themselves just as they bullied the other races.
The only non-negotiable was that no one was allowed to bully a lion except another lion. Failure to abide could arouse genocidal ideas...
"Yeah, changes are coming, strength matters now more than ever," Kael said.
N’bayé nodded, "I released the monkeys, just as you asked."
Kael blinked, "I’m already tracking George, he’s fine."
"Oh, and I brought your god-level artifact," N’bayé said, smiling now as she was genuinely excited about what she was about to bring out.
"Oh," Kael raised an eyebrow. He had not forgotten about it, but with all that needed to be handled, this had been relegated to a low-priority matter.
N’bayé waved her hand, and a magic ring on her left index finger glowed with a faint red light.
A spatial ring.
The ring, having a separate spatial domain within it, held together by the power of magic, was activated.
Suddenly, an object appeared in N’bayé’s left hand.
Kael looked at it.
It was a crown.
"A crown?" He asked.
The crown was tal and the colour was a very dark shade of gold lined with other colours of tals around the base and transparent crystals were inlaid in the sides.
The crown was not overly extravagant, just enough to fit Kael’s head and would easily be noticeable once he wore it.
It would fit him.
But...
"Didn’t we put a lot of resources into this project?" Kael asked.
N’bayé nodded with a calm smile, "Yeah, we did. You may be expecting to see one big machine or so kind of gauntlet but we didn’t make that.
We made an artifact fit for a king and packed up the remaining for future use.
We poured all our energy and intellectual prowess into this. Even George said it was nice..."
Kael didn’t care what George thought, but he started reconsidering N’bayé’s explanation.
"What are its perks? Is it like the Black Gauntlet that stores power?" He asked.
The main perk of the black Gauntlet was that it stored power in compressed form which could be released or used to enhance the user.
Which is why Ozia would be tier 6 right now but in reality, he would be able to fight a tier 7.
Kael.was curious about this crown and what it did.
N’bayé stretched out her hand and gave the crown to Kael who collected it and held it within his hands.
Kael looked at the crown and rubbed his fingers over the body.
"I didn’t know which perks to give it when creating because you were starting to be able to do almost anything," N’bayé said after she let Kael get a good feeling of it.
She wasn’t wrong. Kael was going to be able to do a lot of things on his own without any help from a god-level artifact.
What then could she give him?
"So, we made it a place where you can store your powers to make room for more."
"A storage, or a replacent?" Kael questioned.
"Yes, it’s a replacent for everything and it has a lot of potential if you know how to use it.
As I said, it’s an artifact for a king."
Kael raised his eyebrows, "Oh, I see," He said.
That made sense now. Although she didn’t explain how it could be used exactly, Kael had so ideas. It was basically a place where he could keep his powers that he didn’t use or a way for him to separate his powers.
Either way, Kael knew just exactly how he would use it.
"So, do I just wear it?" He asked.
N’bayé turned around, "No, bind it first. There is a binding mark on it," She said.
Kael focused his will and found it. He did as asked and bound the crown to himself quite easily.
These artifacts were very different from regular machines like arkships or armants.
After he bound it, he imdiately began to use it for what he had in mind.
The crown began to glow brighter and brighter, the tal echoing with the power of an immortal.
N’bayé stepped back, not because she wanted to but because the force that was emitted by Kale at this mont was too powerful.
The tal walls behind her creaked and groaned, but N’bayé stood her ground. She was amazed, Kael had gotten too strong.
He had not even made any moves or blinked, he just stared at the crown while intending to use it, and his aura leaked.
All that commotion for a little aura leak. N’bayé was either too weak or Kale was way too strong.
Alas, Kael did not pay attention to N’bayé being forced to move away, it was not an accident. What he was trying to do was very dangerous and he did not want anyone exposed to it as it would force him to kill them.
Back when Kael was still evolving and using the power of the laws to hamr out the baby Alphaverse, he had been drawn into the mory space against his will.
That was a bit of a red flag for Kael.
Nothing in his body was supposed to be happening without his permission and against his will.
Kael’s awareness level was very strong so he was able to face the universe’s tribulations in the outside world while having that discussion with the illusory figure of the forr Primordial Lions.
No matter what, those Illusory figures were nothing more than mories and they should be that. Sure, he had manifested a fake Jin and used a fake Derylia to provoke Ibadon.
But that was that. They had uses so they were used.
For them to be able to draw Kael in, it made him feel as if the mory space was not fully under his control.
And it made him think back to the person who had given him the mories in the first place.
The Highest Will.
With a ruthless glint flashing through his golden irises, Kael cut out the mory space from his head like a master surgeon.
All the mories he had been absorbing from them were kept, Kael could rember all of them. But the mory space itself which was the source of these mories, was removed.
However, the mory space was too valuable to discard. The mories were the main reason why he was able to outperform other Primordial Lions of the past.
He was learning from their mistakes on the journey and even now, he did not know all he needed to know.
Kael had spent more ti analysing Noel’s knowledge than he did to any other Primordial Lion. Even then, he still had not finished scraping every single mory fragnt.
Then what he knew from the others was also not complete. Sure, he had attained a lot of mories, but it was not complete.
He knew very little about Ishat and rarely checked anything concerning Alan the First, both of whom were very impressive lions in the past.
Especially Alan. Kael had to keep checking. There were a lot of mysteries that needed to be answered. And the answers may very well be hidden inside the large stash of mories.
But for this, Kael could not endure to keep the mory space active inside him. It felt as if it were a tool used to guide him in a certain direction.
If not that long-lived lions like Jordan and Alexander had confird the events that happened in the mories were the sa that happened in the real past, Kael would have suspected that the mories were even forged.
Why the Highest Will gave him the mories was a mystery to him.
After cutting out the mory space, Kael projected it into his palm.
It appeared in the form of a shapeless clump of transparent energy, multicoloured and ethereal.
This clump was the combined residual wills of eight Primordial Lions, two of them had once been Supre Level Immortals too.
With the combined residual wills in one hand and the god-level artifact crown in the other, Kael pushed them together.
Under the dominating will of the All-King, they began to fuse, becoming sothing entirely different.
Right before N’bayé’s eyes the crow absorbed the strange mass of transparent energy that had co out of Kael.
And soon, what was in Kael’s hand was just a simple golden crown with little multicoloured lines and tiny jewels. But the very nature of the crown had changed.
And so, the Crown of Defiant Ancestors was born.
