Chapter 601: Chapter 601: Godly Research

"Is that even possible?" Ozia asked with a frown.

He was trying to be logical and see the possible benefits of a breakthrough in such research into the godly artifact.

But if N’bayé was given permission to study his Gauntlet, that ant that he would have to be close to her for a long period of ti, sothing that he thought of as absolutely irritating and unnecessary.

"There’s nothing that isn’t possible, Ozia," N’bayé said to her son, "The Magus part of you should know.

There’s no such thing as a true impossibility in the universe, only what is allowed and what isn’t.

If we can’t find any benefits in studying a godly artifact, it’s not because there are no benefits, but because sothing is preventing us from gaining any benefits from it."

Kael nodded his head, what N’bayé said was very close to the truth. But it wasn’t like so things couldn’t be allowed, it was just that allowing so things to happen could literally destroy the universe and push it into pure chaos.

An example was the Ti Machine in mphis’s possession.

So far, she has only been able to use it to travel to a past where she was limited to observing and couldn’t really interfere in past events.

It may sound unfair to so but if mphis and any other person who had a ti machine were allowed to interfere in the events of the past, the present, and the future wouldn’t make sense.

Such was the case for multiple rules that the universe had.

Kael had been thinking about it a lot.

He rembered that the monkeys had spoken vaguely of the retaliation from the universe after they tried to perform multiversal travel.

Perhaps, and Kael was just guessing here, he wasn’t sure, but perhaps, the universe wasn’t trying to prevent them from leaving, but was protecting itself from whatever was beyond its boundaries.

What if?

What if there was sothing beyond this reality that the universe didn’t want to get in?

If it were like that, then the rules would be justified. It would be just that the inhabitants of the universe could not understand it.

But this was just a guess, just a theory. Kael could never be sure because so rules also didn’t make any sense.

Like the one trillion mark for a population.

Kael thought of it well. If the lions succeeded in conquering the universe and setting their Primordial vassals, it would an that for every lion that existed, there would be about three thousand vassals.

It wasn’t a bad number but Kael had yet to find a justifiable reason for the rule to exist.

After all, if a race grew too big, it would just crumble under its own weight, the universe wouldn’t need to retaliate at all.

anwhile, Ozia was thinking of what N’bayé said, "And what if that is the case? What if there is sothing that prevents us from gaining any aningful findings from studying the godly artifact?

That is the most liked scenario," Ozia said.

N’bayé shrugged her shoulders, "I doubt that, but if it is, all we need to do is shift our focus to the very thing preventing us from gaining anything.

Isn’t that the way of us Maguses and intellectuals? To keep on finding the truth until the secrets of the universe are open to us?

Anyway, there is no point in being pessimistic. If we can study the Gauntlet well, we might just be able to create another artifact with the sa power but different effects."

At this, Ozia didn’t say anything or protest. By now, he knew that his father was very interested in the topic.

Kael stood up from the pillow sofa suddenly, attracting their attention.

"The monkey race is still rising under our protection.

Now is not the ti to throw complex studies at them.

However, N’bayé, you can still study the Gauntlet. But you have one year to gather all the data you need from it.

Ozia cannot be hindered to one place just because of your research," Kael said.

Ozia nodded, one year was not really about ti for him.

But N’bayé felt differently. One year was an extrely short ti for her to do any research.

If she followed Kael’s lead, then all she would have to do for the following year was to just collect as much data from the gauntlet as she could.

Once she is done, only then will she be able to start her research.

"Very well," N’bayé said, then thought of sothing, "I shall speak with mphis for so...cooperation," She added.

Ozia’s face was drained of color while Kael frowned.

N’bayé was definitely looking for a loophole around that one-year limit.

With mphis, one year could turn into ten years.

"mphis will have to agree with that. However, keep in mind that one year is one year, whether it’s distorted or not," Kael warned.

Ozia had things to do after all. Kael was bringing him up to be his right-hand man. Ozia didn’t have ti for N’bayé’s nosiness at all.

"I’ll use the ti I have then," N’bayé said with a strange glint in her eyes.

After that, N’bayé and Ozia left to et mphis.

Kael removed his focus from them and turned to sothing else that required his focus.

At the sa ti, he noticed that Katari had not yet co to his side which was a bit surprising.

He wanted to visit Marcus and the rest but he didn’t want to go alone.

Anyways, he was able to locate Katari through the lion system and saw that she was with Olivia and Zabita in a training room inside the Massive Black Pyramid.

Kael didn’t think much of it, he decided he would go and et them himself. Zabita and Olivia needed so serious scolding.

He also needed to prepare so things before going down to the main universe to visit his Primordials.

It was high ti he bestowed upon them so gifts.
