Chapter 525: Chapter 525: Three Years Gone

Within Kael’s ti bubble, ti was moving fast.

While all that happened on the outside happened, three and a half years had already passed here.

The distortion of ti was very heavy here, and the weight of eons continued to increase with every cycle.

The scene within the ti bubble had changed drastically from when Kael first started what could have only been described as training.

"Hmm, so flas can be fused together to create joint effects, but the use determines their effectiveness..." Kael’s deep voice resounded in a low muttering tone.

Kael was walking calmly, his two hands in front of him, as he played with two different flas.

One was the Red Fire, the other was the green Rejuvenation Fire. Kael closed his hands, bringing the two different flas together.

The Red Fire, upon coming in contact with his body, sought to elevate all his physical properties.

But at the sa ti, his mind was thrust into chaotic thoughts, filling his mind with arsonist desires.

Kale resisted the side effects of the Red Fire for the anti while he continued to control the Rejuvenation Fire to wrap around it.

The crimson flas and the verdant fire mixed, creating a hybrid fire with strange effects.

The colour was a mix of green and red, flashing and dancing here and there to signify the different powers that were colliding.

The two flas slowly and under Kael’s guidance, fused into one single ball of fire.

Kael took away his left hand and held the new Red Rejuvenation Fire in his open right palm.

Finally, he allowed the fire to spread and wash over his body.

The two types of fires that ca together to form this new fire were not the kinds that burned to destroy. They were hot, yes, but they didn’t necessarily consu whatever they ca in contact with.

Instead, one had a restoration effect, being able to heal wounds and even restore ntal energy. While the other could boost physical attributes while fracturing the mind into multiple chaotic bits.

Now that these two fires with different effects fused, their abilities overlapped, cancelling out the negatives and leaving the positives.

Of course, it wasn’t that simple. Kael had been doing this multiple tis in the past three years. Sotis, there were no positives and only the negative aspects of the flas were kept.

It was only after multiple trials and errors that Kael was able to perfect this type of fusion.

He could feel his muscles bulging and his heart beating quickening. Red veins appeared on his body like crimson worms.

At the sa ti, he could feel his body being rejuvenated and all his stamina being recovered.

It was a nice and addictive feeling, one that Kael quickly got over with his strong willpower.

"It’s a bit counterproductive isn’t it," Kael said, talking to himself.

The fire burned because of his essence and replenished his stamina. Kael was losing more energy than he was gaining, although it was by a small fraction.

Kael clenched his hand to kill the fused flas.

The scenery was brought back to its standard glow with the shimr from the multicoloured sky above.

Kael humd a little lody to himself, a habit he had unknowingly picked up from being here by himself for so long.

For lions who were naturally social creatures, Kael was handling solitude quite well.

The All-King stopped walking and stood still.

Three and a half years.

Kael had been inside the ti bubble for three and a half years, practicing different abilities and honing his skills all on his own.

He had no sparring partner except his imagination which was still insufficient. But in other subjects, Kael was learning fast.

In three years, Kael had reached near perfection in his handling of Fire Essence. Since there were no bodies to use or targets to fight, Hunting Essence and Death Essence were put on hold.

In the outside world, Kael wouldn’t just have three years to himself. He would be busy with many things.

Three years from now in the real world, Kael would be fighting for his life, and training in solitude would be irresponsible and also the last thing on his mind.

Kael summoned a golden screen in front of him.

The lion system was not operating...normally.

If he were to describe it plainly, Kael would say that it was painfully slow.

In Kael’s eyes, things that should have been done in one or two minutes had taken three whole years to complete.

Kael painfully watched the posts from the forums slide up and down in a frustratingly slow motion.

This was how Kael confird that he was truly in a ti bubble, separated from the main world.

It was after this realization that Kael was able to relax and focus on his training. He was sure that he could take his ti and that he would not lose out on anything in the main world.

But now that Kael was done with all the side attractions, it was ti he focused on the main reason he was in this ti bubble.

To get stronger.

Kael’s body began to twist and turn. His arms and legs elongated and got wider. His waist adjusted as eight tails sprouted from his back.

In a short flash of golden light, Kael had transford into his golden lion form. His expression was dignified like soone who was prepared to do whatever it took to achieve his goal.

And Kael was really seeking to do that.

"Conqueror Mode," He whispered.

Instantly, his body beca stronger and his aura rose sharply. Kael gritted his golden tal teeth, with his eyes shut, trying to keep his sense of self.

His paws pushed down with struggle and his claws involuntarily dug into the ground.

The two eyelids shut open and his eyes which were filled with Conquering Essence burst out with golden light. Kael resisted the urge to roar.

He needed this state, and he was also fighting against it. He wasn’t just trying to hone his body, Kael was trying to find a loophole in the rules.

As his mind struggled to hold off against the other mories that wanted to temporarily fuse with him, the warp effect kicked in.

The third eye at the center of Kael’s forehead opened, and it was like a new entity that held up the heavens had arrived.

The ground cracked and the trees nearby were blown back. Kael was desperate, so he fought against his own power.

He did this so that he could finally et ’soone’ face to face. A different way of using the Primordial mories he was bestowed.

Kael continued resisting, fighting back and forth with waves of pain all over his body and prickling sensations in his mind.

Then...it worked.

"What are you doing, descendant?" A calm voice echoed from the space beside Kael.

Kael’s mane fell and pressed against his thick neck as he turned his large head in the direction the voice had co from.

Kael’s eyes shook and his heart trembled, "It actually worked," He muttered.

The spirit eye at the center of his head locked firmly on this figure while his two main eyes struggled to maintain eye contact.

There, standing right there, was a figure of myths, a being that should technically be long dead and gone.

Golden fur and dark golden mane, just like Kael’s. His mane was arranged stylishly.

He looked like Kael, but he looked very different. He looked a lot calr and a bit more...at peace with himself.

His eyes gave the impression that he stared at the world with nonchalance and a carefree attitude when that was far from the case.

Folded in his shoulders were two massive wings that if they were unfolded, would probably fill up all of Kael’s vision.

These wings were even bigger than his.

Kael was amazed. He was staring at a legend in an era that had long forgotten what he looked like.

"Hmmm, are you okay?" The golden lion asked.

Kael snapped out of his daze and answered the ’Primordial Lion’ with respect.

"Yes, King Silax," Kael said, puffing out his chest and raising his head high, instinctively trying to match the absent aura from this figure.

"Hehehe, King?" Silax, the golden lion who was for so reason, now standing beside Kael, chuckled with elegance.

Silax had a tone that reminded Kael of those pompous noble n who thought more about etiquette than any other thing.

"During my ti, they didn’t call us kings, you know," Silax said with a faint smile, as though he was thinking back to the ti he was alive.

"Oh, yeah," Kael said, realizing his mistake. His spirit eyes looked more closely at Silax and he noticed that Silax’s body was a bit illusory, like a mirage, or a shadowy form.

It looked very clear and solid from afar, but it really wasn’t. It looked real and tangible, not it wasn’t.

Kael sighed, "You don’t have much ti... I apologise, for bringing you into existence like this,"
