Chapter 499: Chapter 499: Ancient

While Kael had successfully neutralized one of the many threats to his reign, the other threats were not standing idle.

By now, the news of Kael’s appearance in heaven had sohow made it to the ears of Ibadon and the Dragon Empress.

However, there wasn’t much reaction from them. The Dragon Empress was still focused on quelling the war between her kind and the Creation Dragons.

Ibadon, unfortunately, was nowhere to be found for a while now.

This wasn’t good for anyone at all.

But it wasn’t like they could hold him down in the first place. For the lions, having a vengeful immortal dragon-lion hybrid constantly plotting their demise was stressful.

The dragons were not the only enemies of Kael and his followers; they had to focus on more imdiate threats like Ma’abu.

The only problem was that they were having difficulty finding Ma’abu.

That was not until sothing strange happened.

At the edge of the Leonine Heavenly Realm, a rift appeared, a Heavenly Gate.

Then another gate appeared, then another gate appeared, then another gate appeared, then another...

Soon, more than one thousand Heavenly gates had been opened at this little corner of heaven.

The appearance of heavenly gates was not an uncommon thing in heaven, but so many appearing all at once was very rare.

That was why the orchestrator of this scene had positioned it far away.

At first, there was nothing but plain and utter silence. Then...

*SWOOSH!*

One arkship shot out of one of the heavenly gates, moving with warp speed and quickly going out of site

This was just the start as more and more arkships flew out of the heavenly gates at warp speed.

So of these arkships had the designs of the lions, however, so of the arkships were completely foreign to this environnt in appearance and experience.

These arkships tagged along from behind, following the various Lion arkships as though they had never been here before.

Soon, more than a hundred thousand arkships had flown out of the heavenly gates with twenty thousand of them being lion arkships.

As they zood out, they quickly approached and passed by the various floating continents and mini planets.

It was also not an uncommon thing for arkships to be moving through heaven with warp speed.

The heavenly realm was big enough for arkships to move with warp speed for so ti before reaching the other end and as long as the pilots were not stupid, they wouldn’t crash into anything.

To see over a hundred thousand arkships all moving in the sa direction was just unnatural.

The collective pressure coming from all the moving arkships was great enough to steer many floating continents that they passed by.

Planets were pulled out of their orbits to follow the direction of the strong gravitational pull before gradually escaping the force.

As for the direction that all these arkships were heading to, it was none other than Exalon’s massive black pyramid.

...

Far away from the black pyramid and the chaos that was about to happen, a floating continent stood still against the backdrop of the multicolored void.

On this continent was a tall mountain with multiple jagged peaks.

On one of these peaks, a loneso woman sat down peacefully. She wore a simple white robe, the kind that Ma’abu was usually seen wearing in his humanoid form.

Her hair was long, blonde, and wavy, reaching the end of her waist behind her. Even while sitting, anyone could guess that she was a tall person.

Two bright yellow ears sat on the sides of her head, barely twitching as there was nothing to call her attention.

*Sigh!*

She sighed sorrowfully.

Then, she opened her eyes. Two bright green irises stared out into the vastness of space and ti, collecting data from all eras and eons.

Her green eyes were bright, yet dull. They carried the burden of knowledge and the weight of wisdom. Her face was young but her eyes spoke of an experience that no normal person could comprehend.

She was ancient, ancient enough to have stalled death over and over again.

She was old, old enough to have seen the rise and fall of many as ti passed.

This was no ordinary lioness, her aura spoke of the ebb of ti itself. The reason she sat on his peak, ditating over the records of history was because she could no longer find the happenings of the universe interesting.

She was bored, but nothing could truly gain her interest at this ti besides ntoring students. Many of whom have died or have left her after gaining the power they wanted.

*Sigh!*

She sighed again, this ti, due to acceptance of whatever was to co.

She was aware of all that had been happening in the past few days in heaven, there was nothing recorded in the Past that she couldn’t look into with her powers.

"Must I interfere?" She asked herself, her voice soothing to the world.

The Primordial was here, that was sothing not many got to experience in their lifeti.

She had rely been planning on being a spectator, watching as everything unfolded.

But she was a scholar by heart who had spent most of her life studying historical events, and there was one thing she learned from history.

History followed patterns, and if those patterns were not broken or diverted, it would repeat itself.

Now, she noticed a very dangerous pattern on both sides of the ga stage, one that was sure to lead to mutual destruction.

The opening of those Heavenly Beacons and the entrance of foreign races into the heaven of the lions proved this.

She could still decide to be a re spectator if she wanted, she had her ways of avoiding the danger.

"He has already ntioned my na, one of them will co looking for ...eventually.

It might be interesting..."

As she muttered to herself, she placed her hand on the ground and began to stand up.

The mountain peak trembled and vegetation began to grow in reverse, moving back to the state they were in when this lady first sat down on the mountain.

"Ah, fifty thousand, five hundred and twenty-three years. It’s been long."
