The two Ogres were brutal in every possible way imaginable.

Neither of them gave Ray the chance to land a single hit, and both Ogres tried really hard in having a really good grip on him, but since they couldn’t, their sharp claws could only leave deep claw marks on Ray’s body, tearing part of his clothes and leaving deep scars on his skin with blood trickling down his body.

The intense fight continued but Ray could have really been dead if he hadn’t activated his two body enhancent skills which really helped in reducing the amount of damage inflicted on him.

The Moonstone Necklace also did a really good job in refilling his mana whenever it noticed Ray’s mana had depleted.

This allowed him to keep fighting before finding that stroke of luck he needed to hit both monsters at their blind spots.

Now, both Ogres were dead and Ray was on his knees beside the two monsters.

His sword arm was shaking because he had swung his sword countless tis today and there was blood flowing down from a cut above his eye.

The blood flowed freely into his eye, forcing him to blink countless tis just to see clearly.

Ray slowly got up but noticed a really large Ogre already feasting on the two dead Ogres.

Before now, Ray had noticed the ogre feasting on anything it could find within the village, including goblins, wolves, spiders, hobgoblins and even humans.

People had scread for help but others simply abandoned them by seeking shelter for themselves instead.

No one could do anything for the unlucky ones who had been caught by the large Ogre and they weren’t dumb enough to think anything they do could be enough to change the fate of those who had been caught.

When an Ogre catches its prey, it was incredibly impossible for anyone to stop it from doing what it had in mind, such was how dangerous these brutal creatures were.

Ray slowly stepped back as he watched the huge Ogre feasting on its comrade while growing bigger, larger and thicker all at the sa ti.

Ray knew that now would be the perfect ti to defeat these abomination or else it might end up feasting on everyone in the village, including him.

Right now, it seed to be preoccupied with its al, so now should be the best ti to sneak up from behind to kill the monster while it least expected it.

But while Ray began to slowly circle the huge Ogre, he suddenly heard Mira screaming out in agony.

It turned out she had received a deadly blow that caused her to slam her back against a nearby wall.

Looking at the Ogre she was busy with.

It certainly wasn’t as big as the abomination in front of him right now, but Ray was certain that it was definitely bigger than the other three he had defeated already, which ans that its strength was most likely way higher than what Mira could handle on her own.

Acknowledging this, Ray abandoned his sneak attack on the large Ogre.

Instead, he redirected his attention to the Ogre facing Mira.

From what he had noticed, Ray was certain Mira had definitely been injured but since he didn’t want to risk seeing sothing bad or worse happening to her, Ray knew he had to get rid of that Ogre before it was too late.

But while he ran across the dirt and debris in front of him, a torn up arm of an Ogre slamd against Ray’s ribs, tossing him straight into a nearby building as Ray slamd against the wall and crashed into the house.

It took him a while to register what had happened to him but it turned out the large Ogre had noticed his presence and it knew Ray had been the one responsible for the death of its comrade.

At first, it thought Ray had died like the other two Ogres but the mont the large Ogre sensed his presence, it reacted instantly, knowing Ray was a formidable foe it had to eradicate.

anwhile, Ray picked up his sword before straightening his dislocated shoulder with a groan.

Sounds similar to the ringing of bells reverberated within his mind and he could barely see anything in front of him.

He had overworked himself like never before and right now, every fiber of his being were aching in agony.

Ray could feel that a few of his ribs had broken, with his body now having a lot of cuts and bruises.

Thankfully, his skill had begun stitching his body slowly from within, but it still wasn’t working fast enough to heal him as quickly as he desperately needed it to.

Ray slowly lifted his gaze to see the large Ogre standing before him.

Looking closely at how huge and terrifying the monster was, Ray was certain this Ogre had to be the King of them all.

Its body was a lot darker than the others and it seed to have used the bones of a couple other monsters as its own armor in certain parts of its body.

It held a large bone and pointed it at Ray before releasing a loud guttural roar as it charged forward at the puny human in front of it.

Surprisingly, its charge covered the ground between them in seconds, then the Ogre King swung its bone club in a downward arc with Ray barely dodging its attack with the aid of his skill.

Now, Ray appeared five ters to the Ogre’s left then he drove his blade into its flesh, only for him to accidentally aim at the monster’s armor.

The Ogre spun around quickly but it launched a back swing of its club which caught Ray across his chest, throwing him backward against a stone wall of a building that was barely still standing.

His two body enhancent skills had helped reduced the damage but Ray knew he had to switch skills sooner rather than later, or else, the Ogre King was definitely going to kill him.

"Oh, fuck." Ray cussed as the Ogre charged at him once again.
