Ray had expected this because Mira was still unawakened, so there was no way she could have a skill that he could share with her.
But since their bond was quite strong, Ray decided to remain optimistic.
It ant that once she beca an Awakened, he would be able to use her skills and she might even be able to use his as well.
Pulling himself away from those thoughts, Ray pulled Mira close to him and the two fell asleep like that, wrapping themselves in each other’s arms.
The next morning, Ray woke up before dawn.
Mira was still asleep with her head lying on his chest while she breathed softly.
Ray looked at her peaceful face and a smile graced his lips.

Feeling satisfied with what he had seen, Ray closed the status window, then he held Mira a little tighter.
He looked out of the window and noticed that the sun had begun to rise, with the sun’s rays spilling into his room.
Mira stirred softly, and her eyes fluttered open. Then, she looked up at Ray and smiled sleepily.
"Mm, Good morning, my handso pervert."
"Good morning, my naughty future wife."
Mira smiled and stretched like a cat, then she winced slightly with a moan. "Mm, I’m...still a little sore."
"Wow, I didn’t know I was that rough last night."
"Well, it’s fine. I loved it and you don’t see complaining."
"But you just did."
"Trust , if I did, you’d know."
"Touché."
Mira chuckled softly and the two lay together for a few more minutes, just enjoying the quiet, the warmth, and their closeness.
While enjoying the comfort of Ray’s presence, Mira suddenly recalled sothing and she reluctantly sat up. "I should be heading back to my room before your mom wakes up."
"Yeah, that’s probably a good idea." Though Ray didn’t mind his mother knowing that Mira ca over to his room every night, Mira, on the other hand, was still a bit shy about the whole idea of Helen knowing about their relationship.
Mira looked around in search of her nightgown, and the mont she saw it, Mira slipped it on before heading for the door.
At the door, she stopped and turned back to Ray before asking. "Tonight?"
Mira wanted to know if he would like to have her visit him tonight as well.
Though she knew what his answer would be, she still wanted to ask, just for the fun of it.
Ray understood this as well, so he nodded with a smile.
anwhile, Mira’s face lit up, then she slipped out the door and disappeared down the hallway.
Ray lay back on his bed then he stared at the ceiling with a silly grin on his face because he was really happy with how things were progressing concerning his relationship with Mira.
Of course, his main priority would always be his victims for revenge, but for now, all he wanted was to spend so ti with his girlfriend.

Over the next week, Ray and Mira resud their usual routine.
During the day, they would complete their chores, train, and help Helen with whatever she wanted.
But at night, a new activity had been added to their schedule.
Every night, Mira would slip into Ray’s room after everyone was asleep, then they’d make love before falling asleep.
Their bond deepened even more and now Ray could feel Mira’s happiness whenever she was training with him.
However, Mira could also feel sothing strange at certain tis during Ray’s training.
It always occurred whenever he was training alone and Mira was certain about it, because whenever he was training alone, she would often feel an imnse amount of anger aid at sothing or soone, but it certainly wasn’t aid at her or his family.
’So, who could Ray’s anger be aid at?’ Mira pondered to herself as she lifted her head from Ray’s chest.
The two of them were currently cuddling on Ray’s bed after experiencing yet another intense bed exercise, but since he had already fallen asleep, Mira decided to do the sa as well.
