Raine was montarily stunned and hadn’t replied yet when Mason’s ssage also ca through.

[I’ve recently found a great BBQ place, want to go together tonight?]

Raine, "..."

Did these three people plan this?

All inviting her for tonight?

How is she supposed to choose...

Leon was at the office, and he usually wasn’t the type to chat on his phone.

But ever since the masquerade ball, Raine hadn’t contacted him.

His heart, which had beco elated because of her, couldn’t calm down anymore.

He kept glancing at his phone from ti to ti, afraid of missing her response.

Mason, on the other hand, was quite relaxed, becoming more adept at handling tasks in the company alongside Easton.

During his free ti, he’d explore food spots himself, knowing Raine’s taste had changed since she got pregnant.

She used to not care much for at, but now just hearing the word BBQ makes her eyes light up!

Finn was even more carefree.

He just wanted to talk to Raine about Lily, which could have been easily explained over a couple of texts.

Coincidentally, he didn’t have any dinner plans tonight and thought it would be nice to invite soone out for a al.

So...

After Raine hesitated for about three minutes, all three received her responses.

Finn was rejected.

[Mr. Wyatt, you’re so busy, I won’t take up your valuable ti!]

Finn raised an eyebrow at the screen and said nothing, putting down his phone to continue working.

Tricky woman.

Mason was just getting coffee and forgot to check his phone.

As for Leon...

The most hopeful of them, he was the most disappointed.

[I have sothing to do tonight, let’s et another day.]

Raine’s reply was as usual, sharing whatever was on her mind.

But unbeknownst to her, Leon had mistaken Lily for her after the masquerade ball.

Having had a relationship, their language was naturally more intimate than before.

But Raine’s cold attitude left him confused.

That night... was she angry...

The heart that once soared now plumted.

Just then Anton ca over to find him.

As soon as he entered, seeing Leon’s dark face, Anton’s confident strides froze.

Why does it always feel like he arrives at the wrong ti?

Instinctively wanting to leave, "Uh, seems like I’ve co at a bad ti, I’ll just..."

Before he could finish, Leon interrupted.

"Just in ti."

Anton was stunned, a question mark popping in his mind, "What do you an?"

Leon coughed slightly, his face slightly unnatural, treating Anton with an unprecedented courtesy, "Have a seat."

This behavior made Anton more certain of his intuition: Sothing’s seriously off today!

"What’s going on?" He asked, puzzled, with every cell in his body on high alert!

There’s always sothing fishy when things don’t seem right!

Leon scrutinized him for a while before slowly speaking.

"It’s like this, I have a friend."

Upon hearing this, a phrase instantly popped in Anton’s mind: Imaginary friend!

Sure enough, Leon continued soon, "He has a bit of an ambiguous relationship with a woman, but the other party never expresses anything."

"Uh-huh." Anton nodded, indicating he was listening.

Leon hesitated for a mont before saying, "One day, they drank a little together, and my friend lost control, and the two..."

"Slept together?" Anton interjected.

Though Leon felt uncomfortable, he didn’t say anything, still nodding, "Sort of."

But Anton wouldn’t let go, "What do you an ’sort of’? Did they or did they not? The difference between them sleeping together or not is huge!"

Leon rubbed his forehead, "Slept."

"Oh." Anton asked no more, calmly countering, "And then the woman probably stopped contacting or suddenly got cold with the man, right?"

Though Leon usually scorned Anton’s laid-back attitude, today he realized this guy’s brain was surprisingly insightful!

"Exactly! That’s it!" He hurriedly said, "Why is that?"

"What else could it be?" Anton’s expression was composed, as if he had long been accustod to relationships, "She’s definitely dissatisfied with the man!"

Leon, "..."

Dissatisfied...

Anton remained oblivious, and instead started his lengthy explanation, "See, the woman didn’t refuse, aning she initially liked the man, right? Then you say they slept together, and she suddenly gets cold, what else but dissatisfaction? Either the man’s skills are lacking, unable to satisfy, or he’s quick!"

It’s all about n and won, right?

Who doesn’t understand these things?

Anton was too imrsed in his talk, and once he finished, looking up at Leon, he found his entire face black.

The surrounding atmosphere also seed slightly tense!

"Are... are you okay?" Only now did he realize things were a bit off!

Leon remained silent, his jaw tense!

He didn’t know how much ti passed before he suppressed the fury inside, trying to remain calm, asking, "Is there any other possibility?"

Even so, Anton felt imnse pressure!

"Other possibility?" Anton raised an eyebrow.

Leon’s heart tightened.

After about three seconds, Anton added, "Maybe he’s not skilled."

The mont the words fell, Leon slamd the table, angrily shouted, "Can you think in another direction?!"

Why does it always co back to this issue?!

Besides...

He had an entire night!

An entire night!!

Unaware of anything, Anton was startled by Leon’s sudden action and anger!

"Why are you so agitated? Aren’t we talking about your friend? Unless..."

Murmuring, Anton suddenly narrowed his eyes at Leon.

This look made Leon feel guilty, imdiately suppressing his anger, pretending nothing had happened as he sat back down.

Yet Anton’s suspicion grew stronger.

"You hardly ever gossip about these things... why the sudden interest?"

"Just for a good friend, seeing him troubled lately, thinking of helping him, what’s wrong with that?" Leon earnestly found himself an excuse, sounding convincing.

But this was hardly a good explanation.

Anton continued pondering, suddenly thinking of a possibility, he swiftly leaned forward excitedly at the desk, eagerly asked, "You slept with Raine, didn’t you?"
