Divine Enthronent?
Xuanqing does not believe that Hong Jun’s intentions are so simple. Previously, the Heavenly Court was thriving, yet he watched as the Heavenly Court and various gods fell from power. Now, with Luo Hou still unresolved, does he intend to enshrine the gods anew?
Is the other party dissatisfied because The Three Pure Ones overshadowed Hao Tian? Or discontented because, during the rotation of Heavenly Emperors, his two disciples were rely ornants in the current Heavenly Court?
Moreover, he could see that the "Investiture of the Gods" was indeed destroyed by Luo Hou before, but now it has been reford by Daoist Ancestor Hong Jun through the power of the Heavenly Dao!
Before the Witch Demon calamity, there were divine beings between heaven and earth without the need for the "Investiture of the Gods." Those Innate Sacred controlled various authorities, so where was the need for Investiture?
The Twelve Ancestor Witches of the Witch Clan, each controlled a principle, could also be called Witch Gods, even more powerful than those Innate Sacred.
However, the result was that only Xuanming escaped the disaster. After Houtu transford into Reincarnation, she lost the Earth Authority, originally held as the Ancestor Witch of Earth. Ju Mang, although retaining a bit of the Innate Spiritual Light and able to reincarnate and cultivate anew, also lost the Wood Authority he held when he was the Ancestor Witch of Wood!
It seems that Hong Jun is intentionally incorporating various authorities into the control of the Heavenly Dao. Otherwise, why is there a need for the "Investiture of the Gods"?
Not only Xuanqing, Taiching Laozi also figured out this point and imdiately laughed and said, "No need to trouble yourself, teacher. Although the gods of the Heavenly Court have suffered this great calamity, the several Heavenly Emperors and the chief gods of the Eight Divisions are still alive. With the united efforts of the myriad clans of the Primordial World, rebuilding the Heavenly Court is not an impossible task!"
"Since you are one with the Heavenly Dao, you should maintain the stability of the Primordial World, balance the Earth Dao and Human Dao, and think about how to resolve the calamity that is Luo Hou!"
"Luo Hou, this fiend, harbors malicious intentions, seeking to counter-refine the Primordial World. He targeted the Four Extres previously, and this ti he has invited several Chaos Demon Gods, aiming to overthrow the Heavenly Court, truly a great disaster of the Primordial World!"
"I ask you, teacher, to take action, pacify the Demon Realm, suppress Luo Hou, and purify the universe!"
Taiching Laozi’s intentions were clear; they would worry about the Heavenly Court and Investiture of the Gods themselves, without the need for Hong Jun to co and interfere.
If the other party really intends to do sothing, it would be better to focus on the calamity that is Luo Hou!
"Not that I am ddling!"
Hong Jun remained unchanged in expression, simply stating indifferently, "But you have marginalized Hao Tian, letting people like Fu Xi, Shennong, Xuanyuan take turns as Heavenly Emperor, which is unfair and detrintal to the balance and stability of Heavenly Dao’s order! If one day, these individuals embrace the Human Dao, would it not affect the Perfection of the Heavenly Dao?"
Upon hearing this, Tongtian Sect Master lightly laughed and said, "The Heavenly Dao fears completeness, the Human Dao shuns fullness, the Great Dao is fifty, yet retains one to escape. Teacher, you transcend the mundane world, why insist on the perfection of the Heavenly Dao?"
Yuanshi Tianzun also spoke up, "My younger brother makes a sound argunt. We, as Heavenly Dao Saints, only need to maintain the stability of the Primordial World. Forcing perfection might lead to misfortune rather than blessing!"
Nuwa remained silent.
Tai Xuan appeared as if already enlightened.
"I’m doing this for your benefit!"
Hong Jun continued, "You all are Heavenly Dao Saints, if the Heavenly Dao were perfect, you could control more of the Heavenly Dao’s power and authorities! Would thriving in your Daoist tradition not be a matter to be resolved by a re word?"
However, Taiching Laozi countered sharply, "The supre good is like water, benefiting myriad things without contending, operating among the myriad evils, hence close to the Dao! Teacher, as the prevailing force of the Heavenly Dao waxes and wanes, how can there be a constantly thriving tradition in this world? Tongtian’s Jie Sect is indeed strong, was it not also struck by calamity this ti?"
"For this reason, I believe, let things take their natural course, there is no need to force perfection!"
"If teacher truly wishes for the perfection of the Primordial Heavenly Dao, why not bestow those two strands of Hongng Purple Qi? If the nine Noble Saints of the Heavenly Dao appeared together, wouldn’t achieving the Heavenly Dao’s perfection be an easy task?"
Taiching Laozi bluntly asked for the "Hongng Purple Qi", since you desire the perfection of the Heavenly Dao, then start by granting the essence of enlightennt!
Hearing this, Hong Jun’s brow furrowed slightly, "I have said, when a predestined person appears, whoever among you can recruit them into your sect, I will then confer the Hongng Purple Qi to whom. Do you not believe my words?"
"Why bother with such trouble?"
Xuanqing imdiately spoke up, "Now that Tai Xuan Daoist has entered our grand teacher’s sect and has already attained sainthood, just bestow those two strands of Hongng Purple Qi, respectively, to our teacher and second teacher!"
"In this manner, it also shows Daoist Ancestor’s fairness!"
He could see that Hong Jun was reluctant to give those two strands of "Hongng Purple Qi" to The Three Pure Ones, but sotis, only by attempting can one know the result.
What if?
Seeing Hong Jun remaining silent, Xuanqing continued, "Could it be that Daoist Ancestor does not wish to confer those two strands of Hongng Purple Qi to our teacher and second teacher? Did not Daoist Ancestor say, after the perfection of the Heavenly Dao, make Xuan Sect’s tradition thrive long? Why then refuse to allow two more Heavenly Dao Saints to erge from the Three Sects of Xuan? Isn’t this contradictory?"
Hong Jun, united with the Heavenly Dao, has the strongest strength among all saints, but Xuanqing was sure that he was also the most restrained among the saints.
This was his confidence!
"Oh, right!"
Then, Xuanqing revealed another piece of news, "After my own enlightennt, that fellow Pangu used so thod to take away the Earth-breaking Chisel! Daoist Ancestor, occupying the Heavenly Dao, must be wary of Pangu’s reckoning!"
Upon hearing this, Hong Jun’s expression changed instantly, "Are you joking with ?"
"I swear by the Great Dao!"
Xuanqing declared earnestly.
Standing against Hong Jun here was not a solution, better to use Pangu’s renown to intimidate Hong Jun, the forr Creation Demon God.
The Three Pure Ones indeed posed a threat to Hong Jun, but compared to Pangu, they were but minor witches eting a great witch!
After all, even the Heavenly Dao was created by Pangu through supre techniques!
Swear upon the Great Dao!
This is not a matter to be taken lightly!
Once an oath under the Heavenly Dao is made, as long as one leaves the Primordial World and the realm covered by the Heavenly Dao, the Heavenly Dao cannot pursue you to the ends of the earth.
But the Great Dao is the endless Chaos, boundless Universe, infinite Space and Ti, endless dinsions, omnipresent; as long as you haven’t transcended the Chaotic Universe, the Great Dao oath will greatly bind you.
Among those known to Xuanqing, so far, perhaps only Pangu dares to defy the Great Dao, and his current state is unknown between life and death.
Hong Jun’s expression changed slightly; celestial lights circulated around him, and two strands of "Hongng Purple Qi" appeared in his hands, but he still did not wish to compromise easily.
He said to Xuanqing: "Everything I do is for balance. You, Daoist, have entered the Tongtian Sect, and now have beco a Primordial Daluo Golden Immortal. If I were to bestow the Hongng Purple Qi now, wouldn’t it cause imbalance? How about you refine one strand of Hongng Purple Qi instead?"
"How is that good?"
Xuanqing coldly spoke.
Having not easily beco a Primordial Daluo, and having escaped the shackles of the Great Dao on the Chaos Demon Gods, why would he want his Primordial Spirit to be controlled by the Heavenly Dao?
Impossible!
Now that Hong Jun has rged with the Heavenly Dao, if he were to entrust his Primordial Spirit within it, wouldn’t his Great Dao be thoroughly seen through by Hong Jun?
He glanced at Nuwa: "If Daoist Ancestor truly wishes to pursue fairness, he could also bestow this strand of Hongng Purple Qi to Lady Nuwa!"
Nuwa, now the new Creation Demon God, is also the one Hong Jun seeks to outdo, but as fate would have it, Nuwa might not be willing to be controlled by Hong Jun.
The Three Pure Ones had also discussed with him several tis, believing that Nuwa could be persuaded to join their side.
Therefore, seeing Hong Jun in a predicant, he promptly stepped forward and handed one strand of "Hongng Purple Qi" to Lady Nuwa to deal with.
This was both to show goodwill towards Lady Nuwa and to test the attitude of Daoist Ancestor Hong Jun.
After all...
If Fu Xi had a strand of "Hongng Purple Qi", perhaps he could also achieve the status of Heavenly Dao Saint!
But Nuwa shook her head: "Disciple finds no use for Hongng Purple Qi, better it be bestowed upon Elder Yuanshi and Elder Tongtian!"
What’s going on?
Whether it was The Three Pure Ones or Xuanqing, they were all startled. Was Nuwa no longer looking out for Fu Xi? Or had she found another thod for Fu Xi to achieve his dao?
In the Primordial World, becoming a Primordial Daluo Golden Immortal is incredibly difficult, and Xuanqing, if not for his forr life’s profound background as the Fate Demon God, would have found it nearly impossible to achieve dao!
Even Hong Jun showed a slight surprise, but then he resud normalcy saying: "Since that’s so, then this strand of Hongng Purple Qi will be given to Yuanshi! As for the remaining one, let it be for soone destined!"
Saying so, to prevent The Three Pure Ones from dwelling on it, he used the power of the Heavenly Dao to send the remaining "Hongng Purple Qi" into the Primordial World.
"Thank you, Teacher!"
As for Yuanshi Tianzun, he took the other "Hongng Purple Qi" and nodded slightly towards Daoist Ancestor Hong Jun, but it was without much respect.
Obtaining one of the "Hongng Purple Qi" and making Daoist Ancestor Hong Jun compromise, could increase the chances for the Chan Sect to potentially replace the other.
Up to now, he still could not fully see through the other party, it was best not to rush into tearing off the facade.
As for the last strand of "Hongng Purple Qi", whether it was Daoist Ancestor Hong Jun deceiving others, or if he really sent it into the Primordial World...
He did not know.
"Investiture of the Gods!"
Hong Jun reminded indifferently: "To enshrine the gods of the Heavenly Court, the Investiture of the Gods must be used! Otherwise, both Earth Dao and Human Dao might seize the divine authority!"
"Should the Heavenly Court fall and the gods perish, you all must rebuild the Heavenly Court to complete the Heavenly Dao’s numbers!"
"Furthermore, those two fated individuals should appear within ten Yuan etings, and one of them shall be chosen for that strand of Hongng Purple Qi!"
"My words still hold!"
This ti, Hong Jun’s attitude was much firr. Having given away a strand of "Hongng Purple Qi", The Three Pure Ones cannot afford to fool him about the investiture anymore.
Imdiately, he stretched out a hand and tapped, and from Yuanshi Tianzun’s sleeve, Hao Tian’s True Spirit flew out, and from Tongtian Sect Master’s sleeve ca Kui Gang’s Primordial Spirit.
Hao Tian was overjoyed!
While Kui Gang displayed a frightened look, worried about being annihilated by Daoist Ancestor Hong Jun.
"Hao Tian, from now on, you will practice with in the Purple Cloud Palace!" Hong Jun glanced at Hao Tian, then turned to look at Kui Gang’s Primordial Spirit: "Demons too follow the Dao! You too should stay in the Purple Cloud Palace with Hao Tian!"
"Yes!"
Kui Gang dared not refuse.
Yet Xuanqing’s brows slightly furrowed; Hao Tian being Hong Jun’s disciple was not surprising, but why retain Kui Gang, this harbinger of calamities?
