"Are you okay, big brother?"

Jang Hyeokjin looked at Mak Sugwang with a worried eye.

It was because it was obvious that he was having a hard ti moving with a pale complexion.

"I'm fine."

Mak Sugwang shook his head slightly.

However, Jang Hyeokjin looked at Moyong Gi with a dissatisfied eye.

"They're the only ones riding. They should have at least given a ride to soone who's sick."

At Jang Hyeokjin's grumbling, Mak Sugwang chuckled.

"Shouldn't we be grateful that they let us live?"

"Aish. Why would they kill us for sothing like this? We were just trying to take so money."

The fact that Moyong Gi had no way of knowing that was omitted. Moreover, the fact that it was common to kill people for money was also omitted.

However, Mak Sugwang had no intention of kindly explaining. Although it didn't seem like it, it was quite difficult to move a long distance with an internally injured body.

"But will it be okay?"

"What is it?"

"I think this is the way we ca..."

Jang Hyeokjin trailed off with an anxious gaze.

It was right after they had turned Haman upside down. Going back was like sticking their heads into a tiger's mouth, so Mak Sugwang was just as anxious about that.

Mak Sugwang muttered, his two eyes chasing Moyong Gi's back.

"Let's wait for an opportunity."

"We should, right? But that guy's martial arts are no joke..."

Jang Hyeokjin looked at Moyong Gi with eyes full of fear. However, Mak Sugwang did not seem very worried.

"Don't worry. The opportunity will co. As long as he's a person, it's the sa that he eats, sleeps, and shits."

And as Mak Sugwang had said, the opportunity ca without difficulty. When the group arrived at a quiet-looking rural village, Jang Hyeokjin looked at Mak Sugwang.

"Big brother, this is..."

Mak Sugwang shook his head.

"Shut up."

As Jang Hyeokjin shut his mouth with a gasp, the group was already entering the village.

Moyong Gi looked at Park Gangjin.

"It's a remote place."

"It's all like that if it's not a city."

Zhuge Yeon, who was staring blankly out of the luggage compartnt, grumbled unconsciously.

"At this rate, will there be a place to rest?"

It was a small village with only about thirty households. There couldn't be an inn. However, Park Gangjin did not seem very worried.

"We can just rent a room in a private house, so don't worry."

It was Moyong Gi who reacted first to Park Gangjin's casual words.

"That's true, but..."

Moyong Gi looked around the village with ambiguous eyes.

"Why? Is there sothing you don't like?"

"Wouldn't it be faster to find sothing I like?"

Park Gangjin chuckled.

"That's true. But it's a relief that you guys are strong in martial arts. If not, we would have had to sleep outdoors again today."

"By the way, why didn't you and your wife learn martial arts, uncle?"

Park Gangjin and Lee Yeonghwa had no signs of having learned martial arts. He had watched them for a few days, wondering if they had learned a martial art of the assassin type that hides its traces, but it didn't seem like that either.

"It's not that we didn't learn, but that we didn't have the opportunity to learn. For this kind of work, people like us are more suitable than those who have learned martial arts. They didn't bother to teach us."

"Aren't you disappointed? Seeing that you entered the Beggars' Sect, the reason is obvious."

"I was disappointed in the past."

"It sounds like you're not now?"

"Because my comrades die every day. These days, I'm rather glad."

Park Gangjin replied with a calm face. However, Moyong Gi tilted his head.

'That's not that easy.'

Moyong Gi scratched his cheek and looked at Park Gangjin. However, he did not say any more. It was because there was no reason to stir up a person who had made up his mind.

"By the way, he's coming out."

Moyong Gi quickly shook his head, brushed off the idle thoughts, and followed Park Gangjin's gesture. An old man, accompanied by three or four n, was approaching the group's cart.

As Park Gangjin stopped the cart, the old man approached.

"I am the village chief in charge of this village. Where are you from?"

"My na is Park Gangjin. We are from Hunan. We are on our way to Haman, can we trouble you for a night?"

At Park Gangjin's words, the village chief looked at the group with a searching eye. In particular, when his gaze turned to Mak Sugwang and Jang Hyeokjin, the village chief's gaze beca a little sharper.

However, he soon erased that look and nodded readily.

"I understand. Hey, Jang Il."

"Yes. Sir."

"You have an empty room in your house, right? Give the guests a room."

"I understand. Then please follow ."

Park Gangjin greeted the village chief and pulled the cart, following the man called Jang Il.

Zhuge Yeon let out a quiet sigh.

"At least we can rest easy today."

At those words, Moyong Gi chuckled. However, he replied with sincerity.

"I wish I could too."

***

"There's not much, but please eat a lot."

"Not at all. There's at, it's a feast. We'll eat well."

At Park Gangjin's words, the woman, whose clothes were very worn but did not look dirty, smiled prettily.

She was Jang Il's wife. Although she was thin, she had a warm face no less than Lee Yeonghwa.

Jang Il's wife soon stood up.

"Then I have to give food to the room over there... I'll be leaving now."

As Jang Il's wife left the room, Park Gangjin and Lee Yeonghwa picked up their spoons first.

Moyong Gi's brow furrowed.

"Are you going to eat that?"

"Then? Didn't they prepare it for us to eat?"

"How do you know what's in there?"

"Well, what could be in it? At least it won't be poison. At most, it will be a mild drug. If they use poison, they won't have anything to eat either. They'll avoid that, won't they?"

Zhuge Yeon, who was grinning and holding her spoon at the proper food for the first ti in a while, was startled.

"What do you an? Poison?"

Park Gangjin shook his head.

"I said it probably won't be poison. Don't worry and eat."

Zhuge Yeon looked at Moyong Gi. It was the sa for Myung Jin.

Moyong Gi said to Park Gangjin.

"Poison or a mild drug. Isn't it more dangerous for you and your wife, uncle?"

"That's when we're traveling alone. What's there to worry about when you're here? No. It would be good to take so dicine and get a good night's sleep so we don't see a rough sight. Of course, if there's really dicine in it."

Moyong Gi looked at Zhuge Yeon.

"You heard him, right? Don't worry and eat."

Lee Yeonghwa also smiled warmly and encouraged Myung Jin and Zhuge Yeon.

"It's okay, so eat. It will be a problem if you don't eat too much."

Even at Lee Yeonghwa's words, Myung Jin and Zhuge Yeon could not easily move their spoons. In particular, Zhuge Yeon, who was suffering from poison, was more wary.

"But..."

"I said it's okay. I'll take care of it."

However, as Moyong Gi himself took out a dry ration, Myung Jin looked at him with a puzzled eye.

"Why aren't you eating?"

"Even if I eat it, a mild drug seems to be okay, but just in case. At least one person has to be normal."

Myung Jin's eyes sparkled.

"You seem to be sure that there's dicine in it."

"You don't think so?"

"I don't know. I'm not sure either way. But how can you be so sure?"

Moyong Gi tapped the at side dish with his chopsticks.

"Think about it, you bastard. Is it even possible for a guest to have a at side dish in a remote place like this? They probably don't even have enough for themselves."

"Couldn't they have caught a wild boar or sothing?"

"That's true. But would that co to us? They'd be busy selling it at the market or eating it themselves."

Only then did Zhuge Yeon and Myung Jin, as if they had a feeling, both have flustered faces.

"Oh my!"

"Then this is..."

Moyong Gi shook his head.

"I don't know what that is either. But one thing is for sure. I don't eat what I don't know. Just like how the uncle and aunt are not even touching the at right now."

At those words, Myung Jin's face contorted, and Zhuge Yeon was on the verge of gagging.

Moyong Gi scratched his cheek.

"But... I wish it was a village generous enough to serve at to a guest."

***

As Park Gangjin had said, there was no poison. However, there was definitely dicine. The proof was Jang Hyeokjin, who was snoring loudly next to him, sleeping soundly.

Mak Sugwang, who had completely driven out the components of the mild drug by circulating his internal energy, shook Jang Hyeokjin awake.

"Get up."

"Huh? B-big brother."

Jang Hyeokjin could not easily co to his senses. As if the effect of the mild drug was quite strong, his still hazy pupils could not find their place.

Mak Sugwang, who had no choice but to carry Jang Hyeokjin, carefully left the room. However, before he could even take three steps, he froze stiff on the spot.

Moyong Gi grinned behind Myung Jin, who had a cold his face contorted.

"Where are you going?"

A cold sweat ran down Mak Sugwang's forehead. He felt a chill down his spine and his body trembled without him realizing it.

Moyong Gi, who had approached Mak Sugwang with a swagger, dusted off Mak Sugwang's collar.

"Uncle. Didn't you hear ? I said I'd drag you around until you die."

"Hmm..."

"I don't really joke around. Ah, I do, but at least not to you, uncle."

Moyong Gi was so kind as to even blow on his shoulder to dust it off.

And then, he glared at Mak Sugwang with cold eyes.

"I'll let you off just this once. Just this once. There won't be a second ti."

Mak Sugwang swallowed hard with a tense face.

At that mont, Myung Jin looked at Moyong Gi.

"They're coming."

"I know."

Moyong Gi, who had replied shortly, sat down in front of the room where Park Gangjin, Lee Yeonghwa, and Zhuge Yeon were sleeping. And then, he looked at Mak Sugwang.

"What are you doing? Aren't you going to go in quickly?"

At Moyong Gi's threat, Mak Sugwang flinched and then quickly crawled into the room.

Thump!

The sound of the door closing was heard roughly.

Moyong Gi chuckled.

Myung Jin looked at Moyong Gi with a tense face.

"What should we do?"

Moyong Gi glanced at Myung Jin and then, the mont he turned his gaze to the yard, the sound of loud footsteps was heard, and about twenty n instantly filled the yard.

Jang Il, who was leading the way, was startled when he saw Moyong Gi and Myung Jin.

"H-how?"

Moyong Gi's face contorted.

"How, what, why is it that a sad premonition is never wrong?"

Myung Jin drew his sword with a creak. At that sound, the n, who were holding farm tools such as sickles and plows, flinched and their bodies trembled.

However, Jang Il, who trusted the numbers, rather took a step forward and shouted loudly.

"Nothing will change! There are only two of them, and we are over twenty! We just have to kill them all!"

"That's right. There are only two."

"And aren't they just two brats."

The n, who were murmuring for a mont, re-gripped their farm tools and let out their killing intent. It was a sticky killing intent that was so unpleasant that it was what the mbers of the Dragon Slaying Brigade had basically possessed.

At that sight, Moyong Gi was convinced. And then, he his face contorted without him realizing it and muttered.

"They must have killed a lot."

Myung Jin asked Moyong Gi again.

"What should we do?"

Moyong Gi raised his head.

There was no moon today. It was a suitable night to kill people and pretend not to know.

Moyong Gi snapped his fingers. And then, he pointed to the n with his index finger and said coldly.

"Kill them all."
