The preparations for "The Silent" were all proceeding in an orderly fashion, with everyone eagerly awaiting the radio premiere on Saturday, curious to see just how big of a splash Miss Shi’s earth-shattering program would make and whether it could truly strike a blow to the keyboard warriors.
It was at this ti that the radio station received a mysterious phone call...
After getting the call, the higher-ups at the radio station imdiately contacted Peak and reached out to Tang Ze.
After learning of it, Tang Ze phoned Shi Lan, "Big Boss, there’s major news for Saturday’s premiere."

Ever since Shi Lan insinuated sothing that day, a knot had ford in Doctor Sun’s heart.
Although she had already confird with Jing Yizhou and he was indeed abroad, how could she interpret the hidden aning in the Boss’s words?
Doctor Sun, with questions in mind, went to the Boss, of course, she had a legitimate reason, to find out about her scumbag father’s recent situation in Thailand.
Shi Lan was the least bit surprised about her showing up.
Because she knew that Doctor Sun, no matter how slow to catch on, would realize that Shi Lan definitely had a deeper purpose that day.
She just didn’t expect this girl had quite the patience.
The two sat in the study, with Sun Ling petting the Maybach while secretly observing Shi Lan.
"Just ask if you have sothing on your mind, you’re acting as if I can’t tell you’re troubled," said Shi Lan, her hands still typing on the keyboard, without forgetting to tease Sun Ling.
"I wanted to ask if there’s any news about that scumbag in Thailand?" Sun Ling nervously caressed the back of the Maybach, pretending she didn’t care at all.
"Due to certain changes, I’ve pulled our people back and didn’t let her risk getting close to that old thing, just let things take their natural course," Shi Lan updated her on the progress.
"So the money can’t be retrieved? But maybe that’s for the best – no innocent people have to suffer because of ." Sun Ling had now co to terms with the debt. After all, she only ever intended to work for Shi Lan and never thought about leaving Peak, whether she was in debt or not was inconsequential to her.
"Consider that money as my fee for watching the show," Shi Lan raised an eyebrow.
"Huh?" Sun Ling didn’t quite understand what Shi Lan ant.
"That old beast is currently negotiating contracts with an agency; that scumbag is really not just ordinarily greedy. He found a Thai woman willing to bear him a son and wants to go all out, aiming for twins at once. I think if the doctor hadn’t said the risk was too high, he’d have gone straight for a soccer team. Even with twins, the success rate is quite low," Shi Lan scoffed.
"That sounds just like him," Sun Ling sneered.
"But that old thing insists on it, so let’s see what happens. After all..." according to what Jing Yizhou said, the old guy’s certain qualities were already deteriorating, and this was his one and only chance to try.
When the Big Boss discussed these matters, it was as if she was talking about so animal or machine.
After listening, Sun Ling blurted out without thinking, "I hope he fails every single ti."
At that mont, Shi Lan paused and gave Sun Ling a aningful look, but said nothing.
What could such a greedy man deserve, after all?
After the topic ended, Shi Lan saw that Doctor Sun beca even more restless.
So, with a lift of her eyebrows and eyes, she asked directly, "What else do you want to know?"
"Nothing," replied Sun Ling firmly in denial.
"Really? I’m letting you ask now, but if you want to know later, I’ll have amnesia," Shi Lan teased her on purpose, "Think carefully."
Sun Ling lowered her head, petted the cat’s head, and then mustered the courage to look up at Shi Lan and ask, "Boss, that day, when you ntioned Jing Yizhou, did you have so news you wanted to tell ?"
