The sun had already started its descent when the ssage ca that the woman who claid to be Kimberly’s mother had arrived.
She was escorted to the main house under the careful watch of two guards and seated in the living room.
Her face was calm, but the weight of ti showed in her tired eyes. She sat quietly, her hands folded on her lap, waiting.
A few minutes later, Theo and Kimberly entered the room together.
Kimberly’s steps were hesitant, her fingers lightly trembling at her side.
Her face revealed her inner storm, curiosity, fear, hope... and a deep hunger for answers.
Theo stood tall beside her, his eyes sharp, yet calm, like a quiet storm watching everything closely.
"Thank you for coming," Theo said as they approached.
"I’m really sorry to have called you here without any prior notice... But we have so questions for you, and we hope you’ll be able to help."
The woman nodded gently, offering a small, peaceful smile. "Of course. I understand."
Kimberly moved a bit closer, her voice quiet, but full of emotion.
"Please... tell everything you know about . I an, the things I don’t even know myself. The things I feel but can’t explain."
The woman let out a deep sigh. Her eyes clouded as if she were staring through ti.
"There’s nothing that happens without a story... or a beginning," she said, her voice soft but steady.
"So, I’ll tell you everything I know. From the very beginning."
Kimberly and Theo sat, eyes locked on her.
"I co from the lineage of the strongest witches. But I didn’t know myself fully for a very long ti... not until I got pregnant with you, and everything started to change."
Kimberly blinked, her breath catching. The woman’s words pulled at sothing buried deep inside her.
"I was a young girl," the woman continued.
"Full of dreams. I fell in love. Deeply. With your father. He was kind, fierce, and everything I ever wanted. But I didn’t know, he was a werewolf."
Kimberly’s mouth opened slightly, surprise washing over her.
"And it was forbidden," the woman said. "A witch and a werewolf? Unthinkable.
When his people found out, they warned him. Told him to never see again.
But when he told them I was pregnant... they decided to kill us both. They believed the child would be a curse. A disaster."
Kimberly swallowed hard. "So... how did I survive?"
The woman smiled faintly, though her eyes glistened with tears.
"Your father fought with everything he had. We escaped. Went far away, lived like ghosts.
I was heavily pregnant, and we thought we had found peace. But we were wrong."
She looked down, her voice trembling.
"Spies. Hidden in that town. Waiting. Watching. And the mont I gave birth, they ca.
But your father had a friend... a best friend... soone who kept his promise."
"Who?" Kimberly asked quickly, her voice tense.
"The late Alpha Darwin," the woman whispered.
Kimberly froze. Her eyes widened in disbelief. "Darwin?"
"Yes," the woman nodded. "He arrived with so loyal n. He fought. Hard. But your father... he was already wounded.
He knew he wouldn’t survive. So, he begged his friend to take the child. To protect you. Darwin kept that promise. Raised you. Loved you."
Tears filled Kimberly’s eyes, her lips trembling.
"I rember... he was cold sotis," she whispered. "Distant. But... I always felt safe."
The woman’s eyes t hers. "He did that to protect you. He didn’t want others to suspect.
He knew what you could beco. He feared what others might do if they found out."
Theo sat still, arms crossed, jaw tight as he listened.
"So... all this ti, he knew?" Kimberly asked.
The woman nodded. "Yes. He knew."
"Do you know anything about my dreams?" she asked, her voice shaky. "About the visions I keep having?"
The woman hesitated, wiping a tear with her trembling fingers.
Theo stood and walked to her, handing her a handkerchief. She smiled gratefully.
"Don’t you think this is a lot for one day?" Theo whispered to Kimberly.
She turned to him, uncertain. "What do you think we should do?"
"I suggest she stays," Theo replied. "In the guest house. Until we know more."
Kimberly looked at the woman. "Ma’am, I feel like we’ve talked enough for today...
Would you mind staying with us, at least for now? So we can keep talking... when we’re ready?"
The woman smiled. "That would an the world to . I’ve waited over twenty years for this mont. I’ll do whatever it takes to help you."
Kimberly stood and nodded. "I’ll take you there myself."
As they stood, the woman gently held Kimberly’s hand.
"Before you go," she said softly, "there’s sothing I must tell you."
Kimberly turned, listening closely.
"You’re not just special, child. You’re a seeress. Your dreams are not just dreams.
They are visions... warnings... ssages. You have gifts no one fully understands yet. But I will help you. We’ll figure this out together."
Kimberly nodded slowly, her heart racing. She led the woman to the guest house in silence.
Once inside, she showed her around, pointing at the small bed, the desk by the window.
"It’s simple, but I hope it’s comfortable," she said.
"It’s perfect," the woman replied, her voice warm.
Kimberly turned to leave, her mind still buzzing, when the woman gently grabbed her hand.
"Just rember," she said, "everything you see in your dreams... is real sowhere. Trust your instincts."
Kimberly nodded again and quietly stepped out.
As she walked back through the garden, her thoughts spun like a storm.
*So I’m a seeress... My dreams are real? But why now? Why are they stronger? Why do they feel like warnings?*
She looked up at the sky. The sun had almost fully set, the last light fading behind the trees.
*And if my dreams are visions... then what I saw...*
She froze mid-step.
*Mona. The elders. Derrick.*
*Are they plotting sothing already?*
Kimberly’s heart pounded faster.
*I need to solve all the puzzles around ... And now, I’ve been told I can see the future?*
She walked faster, her footsteps echoing on the stone path.
*Who exactly am I?*
And with that heavy question pressing deep into her chest, she disappeared back into the house.
Her eyes filled with fire, her mind storming with thoughts, and a dangerous path beginning to unfold.
