Chapter 74: Chapter 74: I Can’t Take It Anymore, the Craving Is Acting Up

Hearing the commotion, everyone in the internet cafe looked toward the entrance. Student disputes happened here often, so everyone was used to it.

Mortir Quincy dragged Aidan Lewis into an alley in the residential complex next to the internet cafe and then let him go. The next second, he kicked out viciously.

Caught completely off guard, Aidan Lewis fell backward onto the ground, curling into a ball from the pain. "Ouch."

Mortir Quincy casually squatted beside him, grabbed his collar, and said, enunciating every word, "Listen to . If you dare bully Holly Winslow again, next ti it won’t just be a kick."

Aidan Lewis was already terrified by the kick. He struggled a bit and asked in a panic, "Did Holly Winslow pay you to do this?"

"No. I’m your brother-in-law, Mortir Quincy."

Mortir Quincy let him go and stood up nonchalantly. He then kicked him lightly in the thigh. "I don’t want anyone else in your family to know about this," he added. "If you dare run ho and tattle, I’ll be waiting for you right here every weekend." He put heavy emphasis on the last three words.

Aidan Lewis was a coward. He only acted tough at ho; outside, he was scared to death.

In his last life, the first ti Holly Winslow took him to the Lewis Family’s ho, Aidan Lewis snatched his wife’s wallet right in front of him. Later, he had also caught him at this sa internet cafe and given him a vicious kick.

And he behaved himself after that.

...

When Mortir Quincy got to school, the first evening study hall session had already started. Gabe Chaucer was sitting at the teacher’s desk, preparing his lessons while supervising the students.

When Gabe Chaucer heard Mortir Quincy at the door, he simply gestured for him to co in, showing no intention of asking why he was late.

After Mortir Quincy sat down, Holly Winslow glanced at him. Then, she scribbled a few words on her scratchpad and furtively placed it in front of him: Where did you go? I couldn’t reach your phone.

Mortir Quincy raised an eyebrow, picked up his pen, and wrote back: My phone died. I went to my grandma’s.

After reading it, Holly Winslow went back to her physics worksheet. Suddenly rembering sothing, she reached into her desk drawer and took out a small bottle of a yogurt drink.

She passed it to Mortir Quincy under the desk, her eyes darting toward Gabe Chaucer, afraid he might look over.

Mortir Quincy’s lips curled into a smile. He reached out to take it, grabbing her hand in the process.

Holly Winslow: "..."

’Quincy the Rogue.’

Suddenly, Gabe Chaucer called out, "Holly Winslow, co with

for a mont."

The next second, THUD! Holly Winslow’s hand slamd against the desk, leaving her arm tingling in mid-air.

Mortir Quincy imdiately grabbed her hand and rubbed her elbow. His voice was a little deep as he asked, "What are you panicking for?"

Holly Winslow: "..."

’How could I not panic when we’re holding hands in the classroom?’

Zeke Zane and Pantheon: "..."

’It’s blinding!’

Gabe Chaucer walked over. He saw their intertwined hands but didn’t seem to think anything of it. Instead, he looked concerned. "Holly Winslow, are you alright?"

Seeing her shake her head, he smiled and joked, "Don’t panic just because I called your na. I can’t afford your dical bills, you know."

Feeling guilty, Holly Winslow pulled her hand back, then obediently stood up and followed Gabe Chaucer out.

A low buzz of chatter rose in the classroom.

Pantheon poked Mortir Quincy’s back with the end of his pen. When he turned around, Pantheon whispered with a mischievous chuckle, "Mortir, I saw you holding hands with our sis-in-law." He then demonstrated with his own two hands.

Mortir Quincy gave him a sidelong glance, a roguish look on his face. "Got a problem with that?"

Pantheon: "..."

’No problem at all.’

’It’s perfectly normal for a couple to hold hands.’

’But isn’t Mortir Quincy’s expression a little *too* natural? He looks like a seasoned player.’

He thought of sothing else. "Mortir, shouldn’t you be handing out celebratory candy? Getting a girlfriend and not handing out candy is a major foul, you know."

Zeke Zane nodded in agreent.

’Celebratory candy?’

Mortir Quincy raised an eyebrow and tossed out a single word, "Tomorrow."

Holly Winslow didn’t return to the classroom until class was over. Mortir Quincy was drinking the yogurt drink she had given him. A breeze was blowing in through the window, slightly ssing up his clean, layered hair.

He held the yogurt drink in one hand, propped up his cheek with the other, and his eyes were slightly narrowed. The look was both alpha and alluring.

Valerie Walsh in the second row couldn’t stop looking at him.

Holly Winslow pouted. ’That rotten husband of mine, seducing high school girls all day long.’

She ntally added this to the list of offenses, right along with the hand-holding from earlier. The next second, her eyes t his. She shot him a glare, then deliberately squeezed past him to get into her seat.

Then, she moved the books from the left side of her desk to the right, creating a "38th parallel." "Mortir Quincy, don’t you dare cross this line."

Mortir Quincy was very unhappy with this "38th parallel." He reached over and moved all the books onto his own desk. Holly Winslow puffed out her cheeks and glared at him. "Mortir Quincy!"

"Yes?"

Mortir Quincy replied indulgently. He thought his wife was just the cutest thing like this. He then reached out and poked her, coaxing, "I was wrong. I won’t touch you again without my wife’s permission."

’I’ll just go straight for the kisses, hugs, and lifting her up high.’

Holly Winslow gave a relatively satisfied "Hmph." Mortir Quincy raised an eyebrow, then held the half-finished yogurt drink to her lips. "Have a sip."

Holly Winslow didn’t hesitate at all. She took a huge gulp, not stopping until it made a SLURPING sound. Then, she gave Mortir Quincy a smug little shake of her head.

Mortir Quincy’s gaze fell on her lips. He licked his own lips unnaturally and asked softly, "Is it good?"

"Of course. My dad bought it for ."

As soon as she said that, Holly Winslow imdiately shielded her desk drawer. "Quincy the Puppy," she added, "you’re not allowed to steal my yogurt drinks. If you do, I’ll pull your ears."

’I can’t take it. The craving is hitting .’

Mortir Quincy leaned in close to her, gave her a slow wink, and said in a devastatingly smooth voice, "Give your husband a kiss, and your husband will buy you ten cases."

Holly Winslow: "..."

Although they couldn’t hear the couple’s conversation, it didn’t stop Pantheon and Zeke Zane from being force-fed a mountain of PDA. "..."

The next second, Pantheon yelled, "Anyone want to trade seats with ? I’ll give you ten packs of spicy sticks!"

’I can’t take it anymore. This isn’t just PDA, it’s a slaughter.’

Zeke Zane raised his hand. "I’ll offer twenty packs! We can trade right now, and I’ll pay up imdiately!"

The other students in the class just thought the two were up to their usual antics and laughed.

Paul Powell joked, "Payne, I’ll trade with you. What’s not to like about sitting behind my cousin? You don’t know how good you have it."

’Good?’

’The PDA is so brutal you’ll forget how to even get to the college entrance exams.’

Of course, Pantheon didn’t dare say that out loud. He imdiately stood up, gathered his books, and said eagerly, "Rook, it’s all yours."

Seeing that he was serious, Paul Powell quickly waved his hands. "Never mind."

The whole class knew that Mortir Quincy had a cold personality and a bit of a strange temper. But other than that, he was a great guy.

When he first joined the class, two boys sat behind Mortir Quincy. They would get rowdy as soon as class ended, bumping his desk several tis.

Maybe he really couldn’t take it anymore, because he turned around and flipped both of their desks.

He was the type who loved to study but also loved to cause trouble; it was best not to get on his bad side.

Flustered by their teasing, Holly Winslow’s face turned red. She stopped talking to Mortir Quincy and quietly started working on her English speech.

Mortir Quincy watched her for a minute or two, then rested his chin on his hand. "Entering the school speech competition?"

"Mhm. Teacher Chaucer told

to give it a try. He said it would help

build courage."

Holly Winslow’s English handwriting was beautiful. ’It would be even more beautiful in a love letter,’ Mortir Quincy thought. He raised an eyebrow. "Holly, write

a love letter."
