As Daniel gazed at his na on the Fate Stone, a faint instinctual feeling stirred within him—he seed to have received so form of protection. However, aside from the vague sense of protection from fate itself, Daniel could feel that he had gained other benefits. Of course, he wasn’t entirely sure what those benefits were, but the simple fact that they had been granted to him suggested they would not be bad things.

In the distant past, at the end of the river of ti, Faer stood gazing at the desolate world before him, his brow furrowed slightly. At this point, he had already reached Demigod Rank, and after defeating countless powerful enemies, he had finally arrived at the end of ti.

At that mont, Faer felt an inexplicable pull guiding him, as though fate itself was directing his path. He followed this mysterious guidance and flew in that direction. After half a month of flight, a massive Divine Temple appeared before him.

The mont Faer stepped into the temple, everything around him seed to change. The sky and the empty surroundings vanished, replaced by a floor that seed to envelop him from all sides. Faer’s face broke into an excited smile upon seeing this.

"It seems I’ve found it at last. I am the first to reach the Temple of the Infinite Gods."

As he thought this, Faer walked toward the enormous faceless statue in the center of the temple. Apart from this statue, there were no smaller ones around. Following the ancient texts, Faer easily located the position of the Fate Stone.

He had long known the secret of the Fate Stone: by inscribing one’s na on it, one could receive the protection of fate, an invisible force that could be relied upon. However, as Faer held the Fate Stone, he froze in place.

There, inscribed on the stone, was a familiar na—Daniel.

The Fate Stone was unique. Once a na was written on it, it would remain there forever, whether in the past, present, or future. Only one na could be inscribed on it, and no other could take its place.

Looking at this familiar na, a bittersweet smile spread across Faer’s face. Although Daniel had introduced himself as Crossbridge when they first t, for soone as powerful as Faer, discovering his real na had never been a difficult task. From the very beginning, Faer had known that Daniel was Crossbridge.

Upon seeing Daniel’s na on the Fate Stone, Faer’s mood grew sowhat complicated. But this complicated feeling lasted only for a brief mont. The next mont, a sincere, joyful smile spread across his face.

"Lord Crossbridge, congratulations! To see your na once again fills with excitent. Truly, one of the most profound existences in this world. Even now, I still rember the pleasure we shared when we exchanged ideas."

"It’s a pity, though, that we never had the chance to test each other’s strength."

Faer, now at the peak of Demigod Rank, had defeated countless powerful opponents in his journey, and his confidence was at an all-ti high. But in the next mont, he raised his hand and gently placed it upon the Fate Stone.

"Lord Crossbridge, my old friend, I believe this might be our chance for a remote contest."

With those words, Faer began attempting to inscribe his own na on the Fate Stone. But as he did so, small statues began to erge from the flat ground around him. If Daniel had been present at that mont, he would have been shocked to see that the enemies Faer was now facing were almost identical to the ones he had previously confronted.

The only difference was that the statues summoned by Faer were all entities at the peak of pre-upgrade strength. Moreover, standing before Faer, there was also the physical form of Daniel.

As twenty Demigods appeared, Faer instinctively felt an unprecedented pressure. Despite his imnse confidence in his own strength, facing so many beings of the sa rank left him feeling sowhat uneasy. Simultaneously, Faer’s intuition scread a violent warning!

It was a feeling of extre danger!

This sensation relentlessly reminded him that the crisis before him was one he could not overco. Most of the danger seed to stem from the physical form of Daniel.

At that mont, Daniel’s physical form fully coalesced.

This copy of Daniel, created by the Temple of the Infinite Gods, gave Faer a simple, casual glance, but the mont their eyes t, Faer felt as if his divine power was being halted.

What kind of oppressive force was this?

Faer swore that he had never experienced such an overwhelming sense of pressure in his entire life, not even when facing an actual god. The sensation was pure despair!

His body jolted instinctively, and he quickly regained his composure. Faer knew that the feelings he had just experienced were rooted in his intuition, but as a peak Demigod, he had an imnse confidence in his instincts.

Without hesitation, Faer placed the Fate Stone back where it had been and abandoned the idea of inscribing his na on it.

As he did so, the statues that had erged slowly began to dissipate, and the ground once again beca smooth and even.

Seeing this, Faer’s face broke into a bitter smile.

Since his birth, this was the first ti he had chosen to surrender. The reason for his surrender, however, was not because of anyone else—but because of his old friend, Daniel.

"Lord Crossbridge, you’ve grown so strong. Tell , what is your true limit?"

After leaving the Temple of the Infinite Gods, Daniel now understood sothing clearly. He finally grasped why the gods placed such importance on him. Perhaps the interactions they had with each other in the past weren’t simply a matter of companionship, but were due to his uniqueness and the subtle influence of fate.

At present, Daniel’s level was still 500, with no change in that regard. However, he had now gained the full authority of a Fake God.

When he glanced at his status panel, he saw that its contents had changed.

[Promotion Ceremony Requirent 2: Defeat all the marks left by the gods within the Temple of the Infinite Gods, and leave your own mark in the river of ti. (Completed)]

[Upon completing this requirent, you will obtain the full Fake God divine power.]

However, when Daniel saw the word "Completed," a thoughtful expression crossed his face.

So, what exactly is the connection between the Fate Stone and the river of ti? What does it all an?
