Daniel still vividly rembered that after the great battle, even Aurelia and the others had sustained severe injuries. Many of them had fallen into a deep slumber, so even cursed by the ancient gods. Even with Odin and Alice overseeing things, it was hard to ensure that humanity could fully survive this era. So, retrieving them now was truly a wise decision.
However, during his long journey through the ti-space tunnel with Kartora, Daniel often found himself contemplating a question: Could there have been others who, at so specific point in ti, had also entered the ti-space tunnel? For example, could there be a future version of himself returning to this very ti-space?
Chaos. It was all just too chaotic. But still, Daniel decided to continue his exploration. After all, overthinking wasn’t going to help much.
With that in mind, he summoned all of his 128 avatars, each of which had been split using the God of Thieves’ dagger. The next mont, all these avatars activated Flashback and appeared at various locations throughout this world.
Although Daniel was extrely familiar with the Origin Continent, he still needed to gain a comprehensive understanding of the current era from all perspectives. As for his true body, it arrived at the islands where humanity had once lived.
In Daniel’s perception, the islands now lay desolate, with only ruins remaining as proof that people had once inhabited this place. Daniel smiled faintly, pleased with the outco.
"It seems they sensed that sothing was wrong and chose to evacuate," he mused.
This group of islands had actually been chosen by Daniel and Odin a long ti ago. They had selected it because it was hidden in the Storm Sea, which would help keep external visitors at bay.
Once Daniel confird there were no other people here, he flashed again and arrived in a space he had created earlier. This space contained a very distinct Tree of Faith, allowing Daniel to travel here in an instant. It also served as humanity’s current hiding spot.
Daniel’s sudden appearance imdiately triggered Odin and Alice’s sensing abilities. The two of them froze for a mont before their faces lit up with excitent as they looked in Daniel’s direction.
"Your Majesty Daniel, is that really you?"
In the next instant, countless human awakener tribesn rushed towards him, kneeling in devotion before Daniel. Their faces were filled with overwhelming excitent.
"Your Majesty Daniel has returned! It’s really him!"
"After more than 30,000 years, we’ve finally seen Your Majesty Daniel again!"
"Your Majesty Daniel, we’ve missed you so much."
"Your Majesty, my best friend is dead—can you bring him back to life?"
Upon sensing the thoughts being conveyed around him, Daniel’s face broke into a faint smile. Even though 30,000 years had passed, these human awakeners had not forgotten him.
Those who were still alive had mostly beco demigods. In fact, several had even reached the level of Fake Gods! This was an invaluable gain for Daniel.
Using his mind power, Daniel responded individually to each human awakener’s thoughts. The human awakeners could hardly believe that the great Daniel himself had replied to them. Their expressions grew even more fervent, knowing that receiving a personal response from Daniel was a clear sign of his favor and attention.
On the other side, Daniel had already appeared beside Odin and Alice.
"Odin, it’s been a long ti. You’ve worked hard during these years."
Odin smiled faintly and waved his large hand nonchalantly.
"Hard? Not at all. To be honest, I’ve found these more than 30,000 years quite comfortable and leisurely."
"But we may not have beco as powerful as you expected," he said, letting out a long sigh and showing a helpless expression.
"Unfortunately, despite our best efforts, only about 20 Fake Gods have been born among us. That’s still too slow."
"What’s even more frustrating is that, after all this ti, none of us have been able to attain the dual divine positions."
"Moreover, none of us have reached the Demigod Rank."
Alice, standing beside him, also sighed.
She recalled how, when she first arrived in this era, she was eager and ready to try anything. But now, it seed their plans hadn’t gone as smoothly as expected. Without Daniel’s guidance, everything had beco much harder. It was clear that becoming a god was an incredibly difficult task.
Daniel was actually quite satisfied with Odin and Alice’s progress. He understood that becoming a Fake God was already an extraordinary achievent. The fact that 20 Fake Gods had erged among humanity was the result of everyone’s hard work.
After thinking for a mont, Daniel spoke in an encouraging tone.
"Actually, you’ve done very well."
"Humanity owes you both a great deal for your efforts."
With that, Daniel raised his hand and used Mass Resurrection. The next mont, those fallen human awakeners were brought back to life.
When they opened their eyes, their initial confusion quickly gave way to astonishnt.
"Your Majesty Daniel, you’ve finally returned!"
"Long live Your Majesty Daniel!"
In an instant, the entire space beca lively with cheers. Just then, Alice suddenly rembered sothing and spoke up.
"By the way, Your Majesty, there’s sothing I need to report to you."
"A few years ago, we t the parents of Moon Goddess Luna."
"When they left, they left behind this letter."
Daniel nodded but did not open the letter. Instead, he used his mind power to sense its contents.
"I understand," he said, before looking at Odin. Using his Psychic Perception, Daniel could clearly sense that Odin was feeling deeply guilty. He patted Odin’s shoulder with a reassuring gesture.
"Odin, you don’t need to feel so guilty," Daniel said kindly. "I can feel all of your efforts, and we’ve achieved a lot."
"Besides, you don’t belong to this era, so there will naturally be restrictions in many things you try to do."
"I believe that once we return, humanity will experience even greater progress."
"And I’m certain that all of you will beco the backbone of humanity in the future."
"Achieving what you have so far is already remarkable."
