After helping Nikola back to his feet, the Darknight Sovereign furrowed his brows and asked in genuine confusion:

"What… exactly happened?"

Nikola's expression turned visibly awkward. He coughed twice and stamred, "Grand ntor… just now, Brother Velen asked if I'd like to have my grand ntor personally guide my cultivation. I said yes, and… then you were brought down."

Darknight Sovereign: ???

What the hell did you just say?

You told him you wanted my personal guidance, and your Brother Velen just went and dragged out of the upper plane universe!?

The mont he understood the situation, the Darknight Sovereign's ntality utterly collapsed.

He wanted to scream at the oblivious young man before him:

You have no idea what I just went through so you could receive a little personal coaching!

I almost thought I was going to be refined into potion ingredients!

Not far away, Steven watched with so confusion as Jerry began constructing a makeshift shelter.

"Jerry, what are you doing?"

Jerry shot him a look, clearly annoyed. "Why are you putting up a new tent?"

"You're as dumb as your ntor," Jerry muttered, rolling his eyes.

"Huh?"

"Obviously, I'm setting up a place for Brother Nikola," Jerry said with a sigh. "His grand ntor just beca a fortress servant. That ans he's staying here now."

"Looks like we've got a new roommate."

BOOM!

A terrifying pressure suddenly descended upon the area like a tidal wave.

A familiar figure began condensing in midair—blazing with divine light.

Nikola's eyes lit up. "ntor!"

"Sivan!"

As the radiant figure took shape, both Nikola and Darknight Sovereign exclaid in unison.

"Nikola, sothing terrible has happened!" Sivan shouted as he landed. "Your grand ntor's been captured!"

"And I might be next!"

His face was grave, his voice urgent.

"From now on, you must keep a low profile in this low plane universe. Do not reveal your Fenrir bloodline, no matter what."

"If I'm taken too… then you'll be the last of the Fenrir lineage—"

Before he could finish, he noticed a crowd standing behind Nikola. And then—he froze.

His gaze locked onto the familiar figure standing beside Nikola.

He blinked.

No way.

That was his ntor.

His ntor, who he'd just assud was in grave peril… was standing calmly in a low plane universe beside his grand-disciple?

"ntor!?"

Sivan practically scread, panic and confusion flooding his voice.

"What is going on!? I've been worried sick, and you're just hanging out here with your disciple!?"

Darknight Sovereign: ???

You think I ca here voluntarily!?

Darknight Sovereign's expression darkened with pure rage.

I was dragged here against my will!

Do you think I wanted to be stuck here in this cursed low plane? I've been enslaved! Made a fortress servant!

You were scared?

Do you even realize what I've been through!?

Just as he was about to snap, Nikola piped up again, looking sheepish.

"ntor… I, uh… I asked Brother Velen if my grand ntor could co down and personally instruct … and then he sent soone to bring grand ntor here."

Sivan blinked. "Brother Velen?"

"You an the guy who gave you the Fenrir bloodline?"

Nikola nodded.

"But… isn't he just a low plane universe wastrel?"

Sivan stared, dumbfounded.

A wastrel?

Since when could soone like that just snatch a Sovereign out of the upper plane like it was nothing?

Was this guy really that terrifying?

The three of them stood together, whispering urgently among themselves.

anwhile, at a distance, Apollo and Blackgold Sovereign were also observing the scene.

"That battle freak is pretty pitiful," Apollo muttered. "If his strength had been just a bit higher, that incredible opportunity would've been his."

"Yeah," Blackgold Sovereign sighed. "Not just anyone qualifies to serve at Lord Velen's side. What a sha to miss such a life-altering chance."

Back in the group, the Darknight Sovereign turned to Sivan.

"Sivan… that's the situation."

"That Velen fellow… we cannot afford to provoke him."

"I'll likely be stuck here in this low plane universe for a long ti."

"With gone, you need to keep your head down in the upper realms. If you make trouble… you'll be in serious danger."

Sivan quickly nodded. "Yes, ntor. I understand."

Nikola then blinked and asked sincerely, "Grand ntor… why didn't that strong guy bring ntor down here too?"

BOOM!

That sentence struck like thunder.

Both Sivan and the Darknight Sovereign exploded inwardly.

This kid!

Is dragging your grand ntor into slavery not enough!? Now you want to trap your own ntor too!?

Sivan's face twitched violently. "Why didn't they bring down as well…"

He rubbed his chin, deep in thought.

"Well, I do have a guess," Nikola said honestly. "Brother Velen asked if my ntor was an Ascended Rank powerhouse. I said no, but told him I had a grand ntor far stronger than Ascended Rank."

"Then… he went and got you, grand ntor."

"So maybe… ntor, you weren't brought down because your rank isn't high enough?"

Sivan: ???

?

Not strong enough?

I'm the infamous battle freak of the upper planes!

And I've been… rejected!?

He couldn't believe it. The idea gnawed at his pride.

Nikola quickly stepped in to console him.

"ntor, you should return for now. I'll investigate more and let you know once I've confird things."

Inside the Fortress Hall

"That kid finally left."

As soon as Sivan departed, the protective barrier lifted.

Little Tang, who had been watching everything unfold, smiled as she observed Anastasia deep in ditation nearby.

"A new elite servant joins the fortress," she whispered with satisfaction. "When the mistress returns and hears about this, she's going to be thrilled."

"Hm?"

When Velen saw the item listed on the trade system, his brows lifted in mild surprise.

"System," he asked, "Are the special items now being pulled from the upper plane universe?"
