Chu Yin realized her phone was on silent only after she finished listening.
She quickly reassured her assistant and hung up the phone, then turned to Sang Li.
"Did you silence my phone?"
"Yes, the director arranged for other scenes to be shot first. You don’t need to worry." Sang Li casually flipped over a page of the docunt.
Chu Yin nodded and checked the activity online.
Despite the storm, the direction was eerily stable, like it was following a script.
Even the comnts seed obviously manipulated.
Chu Yin expressed concern: "Is this okay?"
Sang Li replied calmly: "Don’t think too much about it. These comnts are just the ones we’ve chosen from thousands, not ones we orchestrated."
Chu Yin nodded, unable to fully understand Sang Li’s plans.
"Although I know you’re confident, what are you planning to do now?"
Sang Li seed to be waiting for her to ask.
He set down his docunts and said, "Zhang Shutong quickly made a na for herself in the entertainnt industry, not only because she’s the Zhang Family’s young miss but for another reason."
"Sister ng."
Chu Yin thought of her.
Sang Li nodded: "Yes, but she’s already been involved in many things previously. Do you think she helped Zhang Shutong for what reason?"
Chu Yin pondered for a few seconds.
"Was it the director, who once was..."
"Yes. Although Qi Rong stirred the waters, Sister ng chose to sink, hiding beneath the murk. You can’t deal with her, but if she touches interests she shouldn’t, do you think Zhang Shutong and the director would protect her?" Sang Li countered.
Chu Yin’s eyes brightened.
"I heard Zhang Shutong’s film had nearly a hundred million in investnts. Even if her role isn’t major, it grants visibility. But even if reshoots are needed, it won’t affect the movie’s main plot."
"The investors likely saw this too, so they gave face to the Zhang Family and the director, without opposing."
"But if Zhang Shutong gets into trouble, it will affect the film’s release and investnt returns, making Sister ng..." Sang Li nodded.
Chu Yin was a bit surprised: "I thought you were going after Zhang Shutong, not that you would target Sister ng with diversion."
"Sister ng’s network is formidable. If she can’t be completely taken down, she remains useful to Zhang Shutong, posing further danger to you in this treacherous circle." Sang Li said.
Upon hearing this, Chu Yin understood it was still for her sake.
She put down her cup and moved closer to Sang Li.
"Thank you."
"Only by cutting off Zhang Shutong’s aspirations to enter this circle can we limit her influence." Sang Li pinched her nose.
Chu Yin wrinkled her nose: "What about Zhang Shutong then? We actually have enough evidence to ruin her."
Sang Li reached out to tap the computer on the table.
Displayed was a website Chu Yin couldn’t comprehend.
"What is this?"
"I’ve warned you guys more than twice, Zhang Shutong’s brother is a computer whiz, secretly helping Bai Hui multiple tis; this is his foreign website."
"Why does it look so dark?" Chu Yin clicked around on the mouse.
Despite its dark appearance, in truth there were hidden patterns; following them revealed different contents.
Among them was the spray car at the entrance, with faces on the video clearly covered.
Moreover, it was even more grueso than what Chu Yin and Fan Yun had seen.
"Is this... a human’s arm? Dissected?" Chu Yin’s voice trembled.
Sang Li closed the laptop.
"Yes, they were sourced from the holess abroad."
"How could they do this?"
"These holess people are unattended, so are illegal immigrants. Even if soone reported it, after deflection, it likely would be disregarded." Sang Li explained.
"But still..."
"Rest assured, what’s on these websites, along with your video, closes the loop of evidence." Chu Yin nodded, pursing her lips, "What about Sarah’s other docunts? About President Zhang’s death?"
Sang Li whispered: "This dismantles their last line of defense."
Thinking of President Zhang’s death, Chu Yin felt sentintal.
The materials Sarah provided included a family photo, showing President Zhang being very good to his children.
The kids seed to really care about him, appearing close beside him.
Chu Yin wasn’t sure what the final words would materialize into.
As she pondered, a hand tightened around her waist.
She was pulled into Sang Li’s embrace.
"Still having nightmares?"
"Strangely, as long as you’re here, I don’t have nightmares." Chu Yin replied honestly.
Sang Li softly whispered in her ear: "Are you hinting sothing?"
Chu Yin cupped his face: "Don’t ss around, I’m thinking about when to deal with Zhang Shutong."
Sang Li glanced at his watch: "Now’s just right."
What?
Saying that, Sang Li picked up his phone and handed it to Chu Yin.
Chu Yin stared at the screen, seeing the official announcent of Zhang Shutong’s film role.
Unexpectedly in such a rush to promote Zhang Shutong, the film hurriedly moved forward.
Suddenly, besides the curses towards Chu Yin online, was the film’s publicity.
So started speculating whether this was all for hype.
Online theories erged every hour.
The director and Sister ng seized the opportunity, vigorously promoting Zhang Shutong.
A substantial amount of material was released.
This sparked dissatisfaction among the lead actors’ fans.
Zhang Shutong seemingly didn’t anticipate the frenzy from the star fans; many digging into her changing roles.
Chu Yin could tell Sang Li had a hand in this.
He liked gradual tactics and was extrely discreet.
All of a sudden, Zhang Shutong was embroiled in not only love scandals but role-stealing controversies as well.
Enough to keep her and Sister ng occupied.
Chu Yin suddenly understood Sang Li’s setup.
"Mr. Sang, should you be explaining to now?"
Sang Li replied calmly: "Zhang Shutong was too hasty, hence simultaneously flirting with Fan Yun while entering the industry, underestimating its turbulence. If any link went wrong, it wouldn’t just implicate Sister ng but also tar Zhang Shutong with stains."
Chu Yin watched the situation continue online.
Sang Li then called Zhou Zhao beside her.
"It’s all set."
"Yes, Young Master."
After the call, within half an hour, prepared evidence flooded online.
So things abroad might be negligible.
But dostically, they are undoubtedly intolerable.
Especially causing unjust deaths.
The elegant young lady instantly turned into a ruthless executioner.
Sparking an online outcry.
Zhang Shutong never expected her past to be dug up.
Not only was her film urgently suspended, but even the Zhang Corporation was implicated.
Bai Hui imdiately issued a statent, promising to severely punish false network reports.
It seed to assure others that all the videos were fabricated.
Subsequently, Zhang Jia’s foreign website was uploaded online.
Zhang Jia, albeit a computer expert, wasn’t as smart as assud.
Realizing his dark website was discovered, his first impulse was deletion.
Exactly falling into Sang Li’s trap.
Turning Bai Hui’s statent into scrap paper.
