Chu Yin’s unexpected words made Sang Li feel both amused and helpless.

Yet there was an unprecedented sense of ease.

Because he knew Chu Yin was serious, and whatever she did, she always had a certain tenacity.

Sang Li sat at the bedside, unconsciously leaning closer to watch her.

"How are you going to take responsibility for ?"

"Ah?" Chu Yin was montarily confused.

Sang Li half-jokingly said, "It seems like you were just saying it casually."

Chu Yin suddenly sprung up and wrapped her arms around Sang Li’s neck.

"I’m serious, but... could you give a little ti? I’m not as capable as Zhiyi, but I’ll work hard not to embarrass you."

Sang Li’s smile froze slightly.

Chu Yin was just too sensible.

So much so that she was often overlooked.

Even he regretted asking Chu Yin to approach Bai Zhengxian in place of Lin Zhiyi back then because he noticed she wouldn’t object, right?

Truly despicable.

Sang Li smoothed so hairs on her cheek and said solemnly, "Okay."

Chu Yin nodded with satisfaction, as if she had just had a wonderful dream, and closed her eyes with a smile.

Sang Li pulled the quilt over her properly. When he prepared to get up, he found his arm pinned under her.

He moved a little, but Chu Yin adjusted herself and continued sleeping soundly.

Seeing her sleeping so peacefully, Sang Li didn’t move anymore, lying down and closing his eyes.

The next morning.

Chu Yin opened her eyes and was t with Sang Li’s sleeping face.

She was shocked at first, then quickly covered her mouth.

She drank so much last night and hadn’t even brushed her teeth; would her breath sll in the morning?

Pressing her lips tightly, she slowly moved to the edge of the bed from Sang Li’s side, then rushed back to her room at full speed.

After thoroughly checking from top to bottom and left to right, she confird she hadn’t taken advantage of anyone last night.

"Why do I feel a bit disappointed?"

Chu Yin sighed under the shower.

But then, rembering waking up in Sang Li’s arms, she couldn’t help but want to laugh.

She started singing without realizing it.

Although it was a suite, the soundproofing wasn’t as good as imagined.

Sang Li, awakened by her wailing, smiled while pinching the corner of his eye.

After her shower, Chu Yin saw the ssages on her phone.

All from her manager, Sister ng.

"Chu Yin, your leave is over, where are you?"

"Chu Yin, if you don’t co back, I’ll have to assign those events to soone else."

"Chu Yin, I’ll take it that you’re agreeing by default."

Agreeing by default?

Chu Yin thought she might have missed so events.

She carefully read through all the ssages.

Dream Sister had not asked about any work either before or after her leave.

She could only hurriedly dial the voice call.

"Sister ng, what events?"

"The events have been reassigned. Chu Yin, I’m telling you, although you’re a bit famous now, you can’t just slack off. Look at Luo Sheng, participating in variety shows, ads, and all sorts of events. How can you run off for so long?"

Sister ng didn’t give Chu Yin a chance to speak, placing all the bla on her.

Chu Yin retorted: "I took a week’s leave, and today is just one week. The previous work was clearly agreed to be after a week, so why schedule everything during my rest ti? As far as I know, Luo Sheng went on vacation for half a month, and he’s only recently started attending events again."

Sister ng didn’t expect Chu Yin to question her.

"Chu Yin, you’ve really disappointed , but don’t worry, I’ll continue negotiating work for you. Just get your mind back on track and return."

Finishing her words, Sister ng hung up the phone.

Chu Yin felt she was being unreasonable. Sister ng was truly bizarre towards her.

But apart from Luo Sheng’s reminder, Chu Yin hadn’t found any evidence against Sister ng so far.

Moreover, Sister ng was specially hired by the company to help her.

Her current fa wasn’t enough to challenge either her agent or the company.

Just then, Sarah called.

"Are you ready? The people I invited are here; we’re ready to start shooting."

"Okay, I’ll be right over."

Chu Yin temporarily set aside this matter, focusing entirely on the upcoming work.

As she left the room, she glanced at Sang Li’s room, slowing her pace guiltily.

Her mories of yesterday were really fuzzy.

The only thing she rembered was holding onto Sang Li and seemingly saying a lot of words.

Before falling asleep, she seems to have seen Sang Li smiling.

Chu Yin rubbed her head and headed to the shooting location.

After her makeup was done, Lin Zhiyi and Ren Xiya ca as well.

Ren Xiya praised, "No wonder you’re a star; your aura is completely different, and you suit this place perfectly."

Chu Yin laughed and said, "It’s the makeup artist who’s good."

Ren Xiya said, "I think you’re looking glowing from last night, your face is so rosy today."

Chu Yin’s cheeks turned even redder: "No, don’t talk nonsense."

"I’m just talking nonsense, didn’t say you did anything bad. Why are you in such a rush?" Ren Xiya teased.

Chu Yin remained silent.

Lin Zhiyi noticed Chu Yin’s expression and asked, "Did sothing really happen?"

"Nothing happened, just that I completely don’t rember. The only thing I’m sure of is that nothing actually happened, but you all know about my mouth."

I say everything.

Lin Zhiyi covered her mouth and chuckled lightly.

Ren Xiya was also amused by her.

Sarah approached with a cocktail: "Why worry? Your mouth has been like this forever; I suspect even Mr. Sang is used to it."

That makes sense.

Whatever cos out of Chu Yin’s mouth seems normal.

Chu Yin pouted, "I think so too, but what if I confessed genuinely and he thought I was joking?"

Lin Zhiyi comforted, "We can tell the truth from lies in your words, let alone Mr. Sang, such a smart man. Don’t overthink it."

Chu Yin nodded.

Just then, a few n gathered on the beach ahead, chatting and drinking cocktails.

After making eye contact with Sang Li, Chu Yin imdiately looked away, urging to start the shooting.

...

Not far from the beach bar.

Gong Chen leaned against the bar, holding a glass of iced lemon water, his eyes scanning Sang Li who was only wearing a white shirt.

Sang Li looked toward the shooting location.

"Third Young Master, what are you looking at?"

"Are you that free? Why haven’t you gone back yet?" Gong Chen said.

"Isn’t it dedicated enough that I’m watching over employees finishing their work?" Sang Li calmly replied.

"Who are you kidding?"

"You still ask when you know?" Sang Li retorted.

"Has Sang Group encountered any issues recently?" Gong Chen asked.

Sang Li withdrew his gaze and looked at him, "Did Zhiyi say that?"

Gong Chen nodded, "She always feels guilty towards you. As her husband, I must share her burdens."

Sang Li chuckled, "Should I give you a certificate?"

"I’m serious. As long as you ask, maybe we can help each other."

"How so?" Sang Li asked in return.

"To earn so retirent money."

Gong Chen’s words almost directly suggested giving Sang Li money.

Sang Li laughed, not hesitating to respond, "There is indeed a project on hold. One of the parties involved has ties to the Bai Family you and I took down."
