Chapter 12

Chapter 12 Who Was the Victim of the Malicious Collision?

“What happened?” Qu Moying grabbed the window to stabilize herself and asked.

Yu Chun lifted the curtain and poked her head out for a look, only to see a gaily-painted pleasure boat of the sa size parked near theirs, “My Lady, another boat crashed into ours.”

Before she was done, another bang was heard. The boat shook. Qu Moying’s hand went limp, almost getting her thrown out.

“My Lady, it crashed into us deliberately.” Qu Chun also found sothing wrong and said angrily.

“Tell the boatman to fight back.” Qu Moying grasped the window corner with force and said coldly.

Yu Chun nodded and shouted to Zhou An outside, “Fight back!”

Zhou An had found the other boat crashed into theirs deliberately. In such a case, he used to fight back regardless, but now he didn’t want to make trouble for Qu Moying, so he tried to avoid the collision.

Hearing what Yu Chun said, he knew Qu Moying’s intention and decided not to dodge anymore. He turned around the prow quickly and ran hard into the hostile boat.

Though the two boats looked alike and were both ordinary gaily-painted pleasure boats parked by the bank to attract passengers, the other one was no match for Zhou An’s in terms of strength and toughness. That was why his boat didn’t shake violently after the unexpected collision.

If it was an ordinary boat, the passengers in it would have been thrown into the water after the collision.

Now the tables were turned. With just two bangs, soone was thrown into the water from the other boat and scread.

A middle-aged woman fell into the water. She was in servant uniform which was familiar to Yu Chun. She kept shouting for help in the water. A boatman jumped into the water from the other boat and rescued her.

“My Lady, she is a servant of the Third Lady.” After careful identification, Yu Chun’s face changed suddenly.

Qu Moying still clung to the window. Through the window, she stared coldly at the servant who was just rescued.

“Bring her here!”

“Yes!” Yu Chun replied and then went out of the cabin carefully.

Both boats stopped and were parked side by side. It seed that the collision was just an accident.

The passengers in the passing-by boats glanced at the two ones parked side by side and found the woman was rescued from the water, so they didn’t take it seriously.

“You. Co here!” Yu Chun pointed at the woman servant who just climbed up and ordered angrily with her arms on her hips.

In the early spring, it was warm in the sunlight. However, it was piercingly cold if you fell into the water. The woman glared at Yu Chun and ignored her.

She took over a blanket from her boatman and staggered toward the cabin.

“Bring her here!” Qu Moying appeared at the entrance of the boat at an unknown ti and ordered Zhou An coldly.

Zhou An leaped to the other boat, dragged the woman servant and leaped back together.

No one had expected that he would drag the woman servant over. The boatman on the other boat was an ordinary person. He was stunned and wanted to rescue her. But Zhou An glowered at him so coldly that an ordinary boatman couldn’t withstand it.

The boatman trembled in terror and could just dare to look at the woman servant being pulled away.

It was the woman servant that ordered to crash into Qu Moying’ s boat.

The woman servant didn’t realize what happened until she was dragged to Qu Moying. She shouted, “What do you want to do? I am the wet nurse of the Third Lady.”

“You are scared now?” Qu Moying smiled. The long fine gauze covered her eyes as if the better part of the veil covered her face. Only a small part of snow-white skin was exposed, and her pink lips curled up. But what frightened the woman servant was the imposing manner of Qu Moying.

The woman servant even doubted the people she had seen. When did the Fourth Lady beco so awe-inspiring?

But she knew the servant nearby was Yu Chun. There was nothing wrong. Except for the Fourth Lady, who had eye disease and wore such a long and wide veil?

Therefore, the eyes of the woman servant didn’t deceive her?

“Who…who are you…” The woman servant stamred with a guilty conscience. Was the wrong person crashed into?

“Push her into the water!” Qu Moying ordered coldly.

“How…dare you…”

Zhou An had pushed the woman servant into the water before she was done.

The woman servant fell into the water again and struggled desperately. The boatman of the nearby boat wanted to rescue her, but Zhou An stopped him with fierce eyes.

The woman servant sank and rose in the water. She swallowed much cold water and struggled hard. She waved her hands desperately and grabbed sothing at last. After she managed to stabilize herself with difficulty, she looked up and found it was a rudder.

Qu Moying stood at the edge of the boat with Yu Chun and looked down at the woman servant clinging to the rudder like a life-saving straw. Qu Moying still wore a faint and soft smile, but such a smile nearly made the woman servant faint from fear.

The girl couldn’t be the Fourth Lady who used to be timid and solitary. This…this must be a devil with her appearance.

If she had known it, she wouldn’t have ordered her boat to follow Qu Moying’s. In fact, she just ca across Qu Moying, not follow her on purpose…
