To return to the Wright family, Alia Wright changed her clothes.

The upstairs walk-in closet was larger than the room she used to live in, filled with the latest seasonal collections from major brands, various luxury jewelry, shoes, bags, accessories, and high-end skincare products.

Besides being distant towards her, Godfery Shaw was genuinely good to her in every other aspect.

Perhaps, Godfery Shaw simply needed a qualified Young Mrs. Shaw.

After changing her clothes, Alia Wright stared blankly at her reflection in the mirror.

In a lazy white cashre sweater dress, pearl buckle high heel shoes, her long, smooth hair cascading down her back, her skin pale and fair as snow paired with an exquisitely beautiful face, like a noble and elegant cat, both delicate and soft, it was easy for one to overlook her sharp claws.

In a previous life, after her face was ruined, she hadn’t looked at this face for a long ti.

At that ti, under Ava Wright’s constant emphasis, she was told that her face was too pale, and Marsh Smith didn’t like it.

So she took Ava Wright’s advice, using long bangs to cover her eyebrows and eyes, and wore makeup that concealed her true appearance until Ava Wright ruined her face.

At this mont, the person in the mirror slightly curled their lips into a smile, so beautiful it could charm one’s heart.

A cold voice echoed in the room: "Ava Wright, whatever you want in this life, don’t even think about getting it!"

...

Alia Wright changed her clothes and went downstairs.

The new housekeeper arranged a driver and car.

Alia Wright quietly sat in the back seat of the car; the closer she got to the Wright family, the colder her expression beca.

Hailey Smith held the steering wheel, sensing the unusual atmosphere in the car, couldn’t help but glance at the young madam through the rearview mirror.

Hailey Smith was unhappy about being tasked specifically with the young madam’s safety. He was the confidant of the Lord, yet was assigned to protect this delicate young madam just because he was skillful. He wanted to follow the Lord too, but instead pursed his lips and continued driving dutifully.

After a long while, they arrived outside the Wright family villa and the car stopped.

Alia Wright had sohow already collected her icy deanor, replacing it with a smile with ambiguous emotions, her eyes seeming to be veiled in mist, tender and watery, yet icy and frosty.

She took out her phone and made a call: "Hello, I’d like to report a cri: Riverwood Wright family for abusing an adopted daughter and illegal confinent."

Hailey Smith was shocked, suddenly turning his head towards the young madam.

What was this delicate young madam about to do?

She was actually going to report the Wright family!

Before Hailey Smith could think further, Alia Wright already opened the car door and stepped out, walking towards the Wright family villa step by step.

Hailey Smith quickly shouted, "Young Madam, should I accompany you inside?"

"No need," Alia Wright said calmly.

Hailey Smith was sowhat anxious, it was clear that the young madam was not in the right state; if she went inside alone and sothing happened under his watch, wouldn’t his brothers laugh at him?

"Young Madam, you may not know, but I’m very skilled. If I protect you, you could roam freely within the Wright family..."

As Hailey Smith spoke, he suddenly t Alia Wright’s gaze, suddenly rendering him speechless.

That gaze, carrying an undeniable assertiveness, made Hailey Smith feel like he was facing the Lord, not daring to refute.

Alia Wright stepped out of the car alone.

Hailey Smith ca back to his senses, recalling the phone call he overheard, feeling uneasy, he decisively called and inford the Lord...

...

Today, the Wright family was bustling with activity.

A private art exhibition of Ava Wright was being held at the villa, with many guests invited.

However, most of the paintings signed under Ava Wright’s na were created by Alia Wright.

As soon as Alia Wright appeared, the Wright family maid, who had been waiting at the entrance, ran out, speaking in an unfriendly tone: "Why did you co back so late, making wait ages; today the young miss is hosting an exhibition, don’t go disturbing the guests in the hall, madam instructed to take you through the back door."

The Wright family’s beatings towards Alia Wright were often dealt by this maid, Lisa. Alia Wright had always been afraid.

But now, Alia Wright was afraid of nothing.

Lisa saw Alia Wright’s uncovered face and knew she absolutely couldn’t let her make an appearance in front.

Without hearing a response, Lisa impatiently reached out to pinch Alia Wright’s arm: "Why are you still dawdling, hurry up, don’t keep madam waiting, or there’ll be troubles for you!"

However, Lisa’s hand hadn’t yet touched Alia Wright’s arm.

The next mont.

"Smack!"

Alia Wright dealt a backhand slap.

She lazily raised her eyes, which seed soaked in cold mirth, as she said, "You are too noisy."

From now on, she would no longer endure.

All the humiliation from others, she would return it with interest!

Lisa was completely stunned by the slap, she had always been the one hitting Alia Wright, when had it ever been Alia Wright’s turn to hit her!
